There's always been something i've admired about Gordon. Despite the bad things said about him in the media, he seems so genuine and caring. I can almost imagine him coming round for a cup of tea and a chat and doing it because he is actually genuinely interested in what i have to say. I wish him and his family the best of luck for the future.
The Labor Party freed up the constrictive fixed system the rich had in place for centuries: now on to an elected second chamber with either Labor or the Dems. If the Conservatives were in again I imagine they would re-close bars at 11pm and make smoking compulsory everywhere.
Why Asda? Doesn't that exclude mums that shop elsewhere? I remember one Ad campaign before Thatcher got elected where she filled up a basket of £1.00 in goods - she showed what £1.00 under the last Tory government and then she showed what £1 bought under Labour- it was supposed to illustrate inflation. But she had a near full basket in both cases. Aafter Thatcher you couldn't find a product under £1.00 to put in a basket.
i really dont think we should vote the stupid torries, look what happened with magy fatcher, she ruined the uk basicly, and guess what? david cameron said he "admired" magy fatcher and if cameron is just gonna take all this money, britain will be a terrible place, VOTE LABOUR!
@faketelevision1 Education is better- some of the things my kids are learning were never taught in my day. The trouble is they've given up on people who are not academically gifted. A lot of kids are more suited to practical education, artistic or sports and they are viewed as less valid than those with an academic bent. Which is wrong!!!
@faketelevision1 we do have a good education system. its flawed, like any, but its definitely good. there are a lot more options for a lot more range of people and skills than there were 40 years ago.
I've been an unsure voter for a while but after taking a hard look at each parties plans - i think Labour makes me feel safer; it's more serious, fair and people will appreciate that in a few years time if Gordon wins.
I would like to see Labour and The Christian Party team up although Lib Dems are not as bad as the Torries.
I was an unsure voter for a long time but Gordon seems to be the real deal when it comes to top draw leadership, fairness and making the right decisions for the economy.
Conservatives are awfully dangerous and the Lib Dems fame trip will be short lived; I feel safer voting for Labour.
not really a Brown supporter maybe because I think he has made big mistakes but I will never support the tories, they have made & will make even bigger mistakes.
Labour would get my support if it wasnt for immigration but unlike the BNP lot i know there is a big diference between , migration , immigration , asylum seeker & an Illegal Immigrant.
I have always, and will always vote Labour. But please, don't let us loyal supporters down again over things like expenses and wars that we never wanted.
We 'Asda Families' have been struggling so very hard these last few years.
Hi Gordon, the way you talk slowly and steady .. thats the way to go ..it sounds straight from the heart.. your mantra for success is "BE YOURSELF'. you sound great..!!!
please put this video on tv as an advert gordon and please make more videos like this because it will place britains trust in you. just seeing gordon being himself is brilliant to see.
Although i'm an international student in this country but still i support Gordon brown's Labour party and wish him and this wonderful country best of luck. Good luck Labour
by the way....to ToManyPhones...if David Cameron wins this election, my birthday is the 7th May, and if i wake up to find him in chrage, that will completely ruin my birthday.
lets go LABOUR!!!! I'm from N.Ireland and when Thatcher was in power my country was in ruins, now that the terrorists are back again, there's bomb attacks on police stations, people shooting police officers, and it's a very common now. Tories are sectarian too, making a pact with the Ulster Unionists and all that craic. At least Labour keeps things safe and fair. If the Tories come back into power, Things'll get much, much worse here.
@MADAFRICA the tories sold off everything.. including the gold ..get a grip .. GB has done more for this country than the tory governments combined ..Dont get CONned
This is a good campaign video but I don't understand why the PM is advertising ASDA... isn't that selling out? Or is this some inappropriate brand association?
@SophieSOAS no its not to do with product placement though im sure asda wont mind.. Asda is seen as one of the more affordable shopping outlets unlike M&S which are for a select few. the Labour party stand for us, the workers of Britain the people who have to worry about the bills .. he went to Asda to meet the real Britain the ones who work their butts off, to tell them of Labour policies and of their continued commitment to us.. Britain's back bone.
I feel for Gordon Brown he must hate this kind of electioneering it's not what he is about. You can see how he just wants to get this out of the way and get back to work. Don't get me wrong i'm not happy about a lot of things going on the bailouts for one.. But Labour represent the real people and the more we get behind them the further they can go in that regard. New green publicly owned infrastructure please Mr Brown something for us to be proud of.

Just HOW LONG have we been promised 'good education for our children' by successive governments?
Probably 40 years or more.
I think they have all had long enough to achieve it, so I can only assume THEY DO NOT REALLY WANT TO GIVE US A GREAT EDUCATION SYSTEM.
