  • @BallydowseRambler I agree, identity should be found in Christ. however, that doesn't mean that you can't also identify with other cultures or groups. Some Christian punk bands don't shy from the label. "We are Christian punks" - Officer Negative, for example. There are a lot (well, probably not as many anymore) of Christian punk kids, who find identity in Christ, but also relate to the punk lifestyle. Anger isn't necessarily bad, depending on what it's aimed at.

  • Just saw these guys at rage. Amazing concert

  • These boys where Christians before they where Celtic. They'll die Christians before they call themselves punk. :) Toban- You can't allow yourself to think in a punk mindset. We are Christians.

  • @BallydowseRambler What? there is nothing anti-punk in Christianity. Its a Christian Celtic punk band, Celtic punk being the style of music and Christian being the meaning behind every lyric and note. Punk doesn't have to be "screw the government and disobey authority." punk is just the style of playing, ragged, rowdy and full of energy. Some play punk and have harmful lyrics, but these guys play all for the glory of God. There is nothing prohibiting them from being punk.

  • @tbeCapnBen It's the singers words not mine. But I stand by them. Crashdog, Ballydowse, Headnoise, Calibretto, alot of christian punk bands agree and say the same thing. Punk was founded on anger. I'm not a punk, I am a Christian.-Every major christian punk band. :)

  • i just saw these guys at the intersection in gr and it was an amazing show they put on

  • these guys r great helped me lots oi

  • Great bunch o guys they are. Put on a great show. Big guys with soft hearts. They even made some time to hang for a few with my daughter.

  • I got to see them :D it was amazing there really nice and they said happy anniversery to my mom and dad :)

  • If you go to paperplastick(.)com/flatfoot56 you get this song. All I listen to at home now.

  • you guys are amazing!!!!! i hope to you at soulfest 12'

  • These dudes are tall. I was dwarfed by them when they came to ATL a couple years back!

  • @The45Shooter Yeah, Tobin is a huge dude! So nice though!

  • HILLALU, I'll fly away!!

  • When they play live it's electric. Even in a small show they sound epic.

  • Awesome...they definitely kept the spirit of this hymn while spicing it up a little at the same time.

  • Flatfoot 56 + Street Dogs + Dropkick Murphys = the great band lineup ever!

  • every show that flat foot has is amaizing. at least i thought so when my old band opened up for them the first time they played in lincoln, ne. it was the greatest show that i had ever played. they are the most polite people that i have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

  • So I met them after a show that they did near my town.

Probably theeee most polite and nice people I've ever met.

ALSO theee tallest fools ever. It was liking holding bananas when i was shaking their hands. AND IM 5'11" too!

  • @themasterofcrash that's like saying my uncle wrote Amazing Grace it's just no true

  • @HunkMuffin62 the hymn was written in 1929...it is possible that is great uncle did inface write the hymn...a great uncle is the brother of one of your gradparents...time period fits

  • This was an amazing show.

  • bagpipes rules!!! XD

  • Jc4you your a liar

  • @HunkMuffin62 how do you know

  • My great uncle wrote this hymn (: so cool to see a song so close to my family played like this.

  • These guys are absolutely AMAZING live.

  • i know them..i use to go to their church but i stopped going...i wished i didnt :(

  • Just saw them in concert last night. They were great. It was really cool to see teenagers walking around singing old hymn with a new sound. Inspiring.

  • I love this version; i even added it to my favorites. :D And i know this is irrelevant, but i'd like to add that the bagpipe player oddly resembles Matthew Fox from "Lost." LOL

  • Look, These guys are amazing performers, Enjoy their music, If you wish to voice your opinion other then the music above please take it to another forum of opinion.

  • <3 *.*

  • I saw these guys perform this song live... fucking amazing!

  • I miss the Blonde guy!

  • @idiotfantasy Josh?

  • How have I not seen these guys live yet?!

  • Flatfoot is awesome! They are so good in concert - and YourEmbryo, yes. We believe in God. In fact there is much more creditable evidence towards the existence of a Creator rather than the idea of MacroEvolution. Science has been unable to provide a explanation for the creation of the universe. A common misbelief is that the Big Bang Theory describes just that, but actually looking at it for what it is, it is actually just a explanation of what happened AFTER the beginning of the universe. :)

  • @mzeal08 The big bang theory IS the theory of the creation of the universe. You've obviously not studied into it at all what so ever. But, I'm not going to argue you with you because I'd rather listen to flatfoot.

  • @LoveRisingx3 fourth word in the sentence bud. that word is still not a fact.

  • @wilhelm362436 Yes, gravity is also still a theory. Would you like to say that I can throw an apple in the air and it will never fall down because gravity is just a theory?

  • @LoveRisingx3 you're missing it. "gravity" and "theory" are both "words" human concepts. we're still just dust in Gods wind. get over science. its much easier once you do.

  • @wilhelm362436 Get over yourself. You're living in a dream world. We wouldn't be where we are today without science. What good has god done us? Caused a bunch of holy wars, and watched our race kill itself. That's about it. If you want to believe in something, believe in yourself. Believe that you can do something without the help of some one else. You don't need god to get a task done, you just need determination. God is a load of shit.

  • @LoveRisingx3 "self" is another human concept. I'm living in God's world. You should try it. I know we wouldn't be where we are today :) Cloning is soooooo awesome and natural just like nuclear weapons. If people would live how they're supposed to the wars wouldn't have happened in the first place. You can believe all you want..its not the truth. The truth is God created all of mankind whether mankind accepts that or not. You don't need God huh. How are you breathing?

  • @wilhelm362436 It's called my diaphragm pushes my ribs out opening my lungs allowing air with is made up of some oxygen to enter. And you cannot expect humans to "live how they are supposed to" No one has the right to even determine what living really is. No one has the right to say there is a god. God is the easy way out. God will help you though all your troubles. God will save you in the end. Self is not a human concept, self is you, you cannot be a concept of yourself that's a paradox.

  • @LoveRisingx3 1. You're right I cannot expect that. That would be far too lofty of mankind, though I continue to hope. 2. No "one" does., but God does. 3. No one has the right to say that there is a God? Atheists seem to think they have the right to say that there isn't. There is. Why WOULDN'T you want there to be? Gods been awesome to me my whole life and no, it doesn't exactly work like that and He will only save you if you listen to Him and He proved Himself to me even though He neverhadto

  • @wilhelm362436 Also, cloning is not even possible yet. And you're simply stating the downsides that technology has brought us. Religion has done nothing good for the world except fill it with ignorance and violence over which one is the right one. In the end they're all wrong.

  • @LoveRisingx3 also cloning IS possible. I have friends in the field. I don't exactly HATE technology seeing as how I work in the IT field. I just don't LOVE it. God has done more for you than you could ever imagine but until you're willing to submit to Him (which is NOT the easy way out because of pride) you'll never know. In the end Christ IS the ONLY way. Don't take Christians words for it..seek Christ himself. If you submit and seek..HE will never let you down.

  • @wilhelm362436 Oh, and one more thing. Just as theories are human concepts, so is god.

  • @LoveRisingx3 sigh.

  • So you losers believe in God?

  • @yourembryo uuhhm yeah duhh im not coming from no apes you retard....

  • @yourembryo lets see.... the creator of the universe who's helped me out of pretty much every bad thing in my life...OOOOOOOOOORRRR.. a bunch of people who sit around and theorize and then REtheorize based on each others theories AND THEN make new theories none of which can be proven without the others AND all of which are based on other humans ALL of which are fallible. Oh..and science can't save my soul so yeah..if it means im a loser then i lose science, and math, and greed, and anger and...

  • love this song no matter who does it. You might be able to make your vocals better though. It is not a "shouting" song sonny
