I saw the tornadoes in Brooklyn and Queens mentioned on the TV news. It's really unbelievable! There was also a tornado that went through Plumsted Township, Ocean County, NJ. It was near a place called Collier's Mills in the Pine Barrens.
@MillerMeteor74 I was looking that up too, apparently it is right near the Pine Barrens. I didn't hear much reports of damage, I guess because the area is lightly populated.
Haven't watched TV or listened to radio so I only heard about this from weather.com and you.
Looks like things are fairly normal now (some delays) considering, except for the Pt Washington line. But how good would it be to have the alternative of express busses for these situations and to get people to the larger subway stops they'd have to take to complete their trips.
I was tell you one thing why does Forest Hill have express buses??????? They have the LIRR + the E and F express subway.
QM11 and QM 12 should be cut.

@marbledillon I totally agree, but the MTA seems to love the city ppl and want to screw everyone else. Its maddening...

@farnk Yes, this is what NJ Transit has, but the MTA is too city-centric.

@farnk That would be a two zone fare then.
