Russia is buying T-Bills? USA government will use these T-Bills to build those very missile systems in Eastern Europe Russia does not want built. I'm very surprised by Russia doing this. I think Russia would be better off investing in China, not USA. But it's there money, they can do what they want it/

You are allowed to own gold in the US. What law do you speak of? Legal tender laws? That just says you don't use gold as a means of transaction. But it is irrelevant to my comment, since I was referring to Russian government. They should be (though I think they are) buying only gold, not US T-bonds.
