I am also wondering if this is region free. I bought one recently, but don't own any foreign games just yet. I know it was a very easy mod to MAKE the NES region free, I'm just asking if this already is :)
to the video maker (since you have inported games) or anyone who knows: do you know if Terranigma (european-english or australia version) works on the FC Twin console?
oh and some people say super mario RPG won't play on the FC Twin and others say it does, I have that game but I haven't been able to test it, do anyone knows if it actually works or what? also, does castlevania 3 dracula's curse plays on the FC Twin?
some copies work some don't. for north american release, the ones that say 'made in mexico,' don't work allegedly and the ones that say 'made in japan' do. it has to do with a chip that blocks use on non-nintendo systems. the problem is, i tested 2 copies that said made in japan on my system, one worked, and one didn't, so i don't know how to help you aside from saying - just test it.

I actually own Super Mario World (NTSC USA) and it plays perfectly on my FC Twin. I never noticed anything different from the original or even emulation..
found one on ebay for like 40 bucks plus shipping. works pretty good. snes games like super mario rpg and dok country wokr flawlessly, but star fox and zelda link to the past have color flaws. the nes games though, they all sound different, thats cuz the fc twin uses a different midi than the original nes did.
Well, the flashes in Super Aleste are caused by my cam, not worry, it´s works perfect, but the flashes in mario world in title screen are caused by the console, because the game is pal version I think (Aleste and Metroid are JAP NTSC version). NTSC emulation is really good (sound perfect always).
The sound in Nes, well, not perfect, like others famicom clones, but I only have one game to test :(
I bought mine from ebay, 50 € with shipment included to Spain, less for USA.
Thanks for submitting this video, IM thinking of buying the FC twin,Could you tell me what those flashes (black flashes going up and down the screen on super aleste were? doesnt look very good... hopefully wasnt caused by fc twin.. also i read somewhere the sound on NES games are a lil buggy could you verify this for me? thanks... one last thing.. where did you order yours from and how much was it?

I just ordered one yesterday. I don't care about differences. It's a great thing to have two systems in one for the price it sells for.

I just got my FC twin from Amazon for $41 plush shipping added up to about $50. Every game I've tried so far works. Deal of the century!
