No one has ever swang anything. Many have swung a certain way though. Maybe in the south they make golf swangs.
Most people drop the club to a parallel plane, not staying on the same plane. Go search around youtube and see all the parallel lines drawn to the shaft at address.
p.s. since switching to Moe's way of striking a ball, I've never made more solid and consistent contact. Think outside the box because the average handicap has been hovering around 18 for decades despite technology.
Moes swing and the modern PGA are not really that different. Its all about practice. If moes swing was so revolutionary then Little Moe "todd" would be the best golfer around. Moe was brilliant cause he practiced 8 hours a day, just like Hogan and tiger. If his swing is so simple why would you need all the fancy gadgets to learn it like that stupid template on the ground. Just hit balls and it will come

The people at graves golf I think mean well, but all those gadgets, I agree, you do not need!! I think you will find though, that many of the fundamentals that Moe had were really quite ingenious Many golf instructors really have no clue what works consistently but believe me Norman's swing was damned good and should be considered!!

I am a very acomplished scratch handicap and I have studied swing biomechanics more than most and I would give a hell of alot to swing like moe and little moe. Why? Because Moe had the answer - these guys have the answer. Tiger and all the guys look so pretty but that motion is extremely difficult. Simplicity may not look pretty guys but this is the answer. believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cant agree with you more im also a scratch golfer and have won many times and once i forgot about trying to be pretty and became more focused on being simple the sky became the limit, the game becomes easier and more fun
