The best strategy for bosses is jumpkick and back off and jumpkick again fast. I beat every boss (Except for the clowns since I used the double punch and DJ Clone which I just kept kicking) with this strategy.

This game was extremely altered from both Japanese versions of the arcade game and Japanese port. The bosses are highly offensive stereotypes in the Japanese versions (the black lady in the first stage uses farts for attacks and looks more like Aunt Jemima). Also, the first stage was an water dock in the original Japanese version.

It didnt take me months and months. It took me like 2 days. On level 5 you fight the first 4 bosses over plus another boss for that stage. Then on stage 6 you fight a final boss which resmbles a relative of the Stage 1 boss. Your lame having to use a game genie for this game. I used to LOVE this shit in the arcade. I wasted a "fuck ton" of quarters on this title. I really dont think it's a bad port. When tghe game came out it was so popular that you would always be playing next to someone on it. It's a lot easier 2 player which I don't think they allow in the Mega Drive version.

Games back in the day were a lot more difficult then, especially when there weren't many 'save-it-now, play-it-later' options. The original Legend of Zelda had to be the first, if not one of them. Assuming I didn't use any warp zones, there's no way I'd sit and play the NES's SMB 8 worlds' (32 boards) without wanting to stop O_o; ! Oh yeah, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out was another. 007-373-5963. I think I still remember that 'cause it reads just like a phone number, area code and all!!

Why do you never jump? The enemies will hardly hit you, and the jump attack is the strongest in the game.
