  • i hate stupid youtube debates that take up the whole comment section

  • I tell you what... Lalonde made a great fight out of this one. Ray was on his way out of course, but still a legend. Sugar was one of the fastest and fluid fighters ever.

  • sugar ray!!! peace of shit!!! died mother fucker!!!!

  • Man SRL looked terrible in this fight. Where was his speed and footwork at? Was something wrong with him? lalonde was a bum.

  • I am impressed how SRL handled the last round after being pressed by Lalonde.

SRL´s greatness is unquestionable. Apart from Duran, Hearns and Hagler he also beat boxers like Ayub Kalule, Wilfred Benitez, Dave Green and many more. SRL was perhaps the best boxer p4p during the 80s.

  • @chillisnake No "perhaps" to it. At his peak? He was the best welterweight since Sugar Ray Robinson. He's better than Floyd Mayweather and would crucify Pacquiao.Hell, when he was in his prime? The devastating HANDS OF STONE of Roberto Duran would KO Pacquiao in 10.

  • @ATACXGYM Haha, ok, I strongly regret "perhaps" :)

  • @chillisnake Hahaha sorry if I came off a bit strong man.My bad.

  • @chillisnake

no he wasnt. not by a long shot. why fight a Don lalonde? there was no demand for it! Why not fight a REAL fighter in Nunn? and why wait five years to get sloppy leftovers Marvin Hagler? what good was he in 87?

you see people? this is what I'm talking about! the guy picks his fights. Then when he's not careful enough in choosing his opponent, he gets creamed!! Just look what happened in the norris fight. 3-1 underdog and kicked his ass all over the place

  • @Piglatinsuperstar I don´t agree that Hagler was a sloppy leftover when he faced Leonard. Hagler was 32 and Leonard 30 at the fight. Hagler had a bit of attitude prior, during and after the fight, in my opinion. Maybe thats why he lost. Hagler was my favorite but now I have matured to see Sugar Ray Leonards greatness so my hat off.

  • @chillisnake

Hagleer looked like shit. I would compare Hagler from that fite with Ali from the Holmes fight

  • @Piglatinsuperstar Yes he was. That "sloppy leftovers" Marvin Hagler was still the terror of the division; nobody wanted any of him. Sugar Ray Leonard always wanted not only a show but a victory; he selected Lalonde because he thought he had a easier fight than vs Nunn...and don't forget that Nunn wasn't the money draw that Lalonde was (Canadian fight fans,White v Black).Sugar Ray fought dangerous guys closer to his weight though, and that's how Norris happened.

  • @ATACXGYM

How UNinformed! u are taking information from the PREVIOUS 10 yrs as an UP N COMER contender and still trying to apply it to Hagler as he is leaving the sport

U need to bring your skills up to speed. people like u will find any way they can to twist the truth around and say that Lalonde was a draw. Just say it straight up: Ray was afraid of mike and would have been knocked stiff

and vs the Hagler of 82, wouldntve lasted 10 seconds

  • @Piglatinsuperstar Actually I'm quite INformed. Prior to fighting Sugar Ray,Hagler KO'd John "The Beast" Mugabi in the 11th round. Prior to THAT,Hagler stopped Tommy "The (REAL) Hitman" Hearns in that classic known as "THE WAR". I watched BOTH of those fights when they happened. The Hagler who you very disrespectfully and inaccurately called "sloppy leftovers" ruled the MW division with a iron fist, and was favored to beat Sugar Ray prior to their fight.

  • @ATACXGYM

no you're not. Hagler was feared in the 70s, not at the end of his career. Dont believe me? How come he was introduced as WBC Champion? becuz he lost the other two belts. he even said he wanted to retire after the Mugabi fight and HELLO, show me where Hagleer continued his career after 87

and please try being honest for once. Just callhim for what he was: sloppy leftovers

  • and who cares if Hagler was favored 2-1 over Leonard

Leonard himself 3-1 was favored over Norris and look what happened to HIM! Unbeaten in 11 yrs, no ring rust, down at his more normal weight. guess what? He's out of excuses!

The ONLY reason SRL went after Hagler is becuz Hagler lost EVERYTHING. In Marv's heyday u coulnt get Ray to face Marvin in a fight if u put a gun to his head, the fear was too great. No, he had to wait for five years of wear N tear like a timid wimp

  • @Piglatinsuperstar Hagler being favored over Leonard was hugely different than Sugar Ray being favored over Norris. Leonard&Hagler were true greats in their physical prime, battling to see who was the best "little man" since Sugar Ray Robinson. Sugar Ray had only been retired for about 2 years when he fought Hagler. By the time that Norris came around? It was 10 yrs later.Ray was 34,which meant alot more back then than it does now.Hagler was sharp,Ray hadn't been in the ring and had ring rust.

  • @ATACXGYM

Hagler was a tired, sloppy leftover which encouraged Ray to finally take the fight. The time to test who was MMH was 1982- 84. I have no doubt my man (Hagler) wouldve wiped the floor with him

what good do contests run 5 years late, do for anyone?

I personally WASNT impressed by Leonard's performance against Norris, the fastest man he ever faced in his life. He resembled a man in a clumsy gorilla suit trying to box Norris. Norris was slick, quick, and made Sugar sick

  • @Piglatinsuperstar That wasn't the prime Sugar Ray when he fought Norris, and that was the near prime Norris.Norris was slick quick and made most people look sick, but a prime SRL would've KO'd Norris like Julian Jackson did. I love MMH too,and you know why SRL couldn't fight him 82-84--the detached retina SRL suffered in his fight with Hitman made that impossible,AND MMH was cracking people who were in his MW division during those years so he hadn't established himself as the ironfisted ruler yet

  • @ATACXGYM

so what? he was supposed to win wasnt he? 3-1 favorite. Personally, I dont think Ray wouldve done well even in his prime. i watched SRL Larry Bonds from 1981, and Terry wouldve cleaned his clock for the simple reason Ray has never faced anyone w the kind of speed & moves that Terry put on him the night of Feb. 9, 1991

Sure he did gr8 vs flatfooted Duran, Dave Green, Nobody Lalonde, Sloppy leftovers Hagler. But put him in with someone that can move, hit fast N hard & he's toast

  • nobody gave Norris a chance but when Terry began punching holes in that big head of his, you know the "experts" began to sweat!. I can just see their pulse going up as Terry scored knockdown #1 then become terrified as Terry sliced thu Ray's guard with an immaculate uppercut in the third that turned Ray's guts to jelly and made him cruble like a cheap deck of cards.

Terry wouldve easily beaten the Leonard of 1987, 1984, and 1981. His chin would never stand up to the bombardment

  • @Piglatinsuperstar Plenty of people gave Norris a chance when SRL came back for him. In fact, the overall impetus was most people didn't want to see SRL tarnish his legacy by fighting a dangerous up and comer like TN.However,SRL in his prime would destroy TN. Prime SRL beat prime Hearns and Duran, beat Gomez and Hagler, all of whom would KO Norris as Norris' chin was always his biggest problem; his 2nd biggest problem was his pride which made him enter slugfests when he should box (Simon Brown).

  • @ATACXGYM

    really? couldnt find any names

that's why Leonard was installed as the heavy favorite. and if you're going to try and persuade me that Leonard would destroy Norris, wouldnt you need more convincing performances than the ones he had against Kalule, Howard, Bonds? Even Hearns w a simple stick and move strategy reduced Leonard to an ordinary stalker .

Who the hell is Gomez? Dont you know anything about boxing? It's BENITEZ!

  • @ATACXGYM umm like your piont of view but maybe just not hagler in his prime, but it doesnt take anything from srl hagler is a bigger man

  • @kiddkidd1234 I think that everyone would have loved to see the SRL who defeated Hearns in 1981 face the Hagler who went through round of Hell with "The Hitman" and stopped him via KO in 3.But we would not have known how great either man was if they had not mutually defeated Hearns,Duran, Mugabi, etc. Those fights really gave impetus to the public desire to see these two fight each other. Personally? I think that their fight might have been a tie or gone to Hagler if it was 15 rounds.

  • @Piglatinsuperstar I completely disagree with you there. Hitman was unquestionably better than Norris in his prime.Duran wasn't fleet footed as SRL but he was a dangerous pressure fighter and brawler--at his peak? A great fighter. Wifredo Benitez was highly touted for his incredible defense, jab, and counter skill which featured him moving with true tactical genius.Floyd Sr. was a quick fisted fighter with good movement,Dave Green was a respected challenger,Hagler wasn't sloppy leftovers.

  • @ATACXGYM

Hagler's last fight tranlates into sloppy leftovers just as driving a 1990 Benz. Same thing in principle

and Dave Green? I have no idea how he ever qualified for a ranking. he was the 147 pound version of Lalonde: stiff, slow, and hittable. what had he done the last 3 yrs other than getting knocked cold by Palomino? KO'D the same way, by a left hook. Sloppy leftovers

and who the hell is Larry Bonds! where do these guys come from? and how did he last 11 with LEONARD?

  • who the hell ever said Green was a respected challenger? Green was brought in to LOSE! and amounted to nothing more than an easy payday and was acknowledged as such.

Benitez was an okay fighter, some skill, not much speed. What we call a cutey in the industry. Low on power, not much offense. I think Duran was half asleep when he lost to Benitez. Either that or he was drugged or else threw the fight for more money

  • @Piglatinsuperstar Benitez an ok fighter? some skill? actually Benitez is regarded as one of the best defensive fighters of all time. He is the youngest ever world champion in history, when he beat Cervantes at 17years of age. Yes 17!!! Also Cervantes is one of the best ever light welterweight champions. What could you do at 17? certainly not win a world title...

  • @dan32113

I've seen him but was never impressed. had no speed, not much fire. just a cutie who got smoked by every top fighter put in front of him: Leonard, Hearns, Hamsho all beat him easy, Moore knocked him out, Hilton massacred him

  • @Piglatinsuperstar Sugar Ray Leonard said nobody made him miss like Benitez did, it was like looking at a mirror. Winning a World title as a 17yr old IS special, nobody else has achieved this! He is also in the hall of fame, one of the greatest defensive fighters ever...

  • @dan32113

I dont care what Sugar said; Wilfred was SLOW!

The fighters that impressed me were guys like Hagler, Robinson, Jones, Norris, and I'm not the least bit interested in a passive cutie like Benitez

  • @Piglatinsuperstar Benitez slow? no he was a very fast counter puncher, his reflexes second to none. why do you think he is always talked about as top 5 defensive boxers of alltime, he thought so fast, was a very talented boxer, thats why they called him the bible of boxing.. you are in the minority if you think Benitez was slow...

  • @dan32113

To me, fast is Terry Norris, Meldrick Taylor, Hector Camacho, Roy Jones. THAT'S FAST

Wilfred could never hope to counter guys likr Hearns, or Leonard, that's why he lost to both lopsidedly. as a fighter, he was okay but nothing great despite his three titles. Everyone does it nowadays

  • @Piglatinsuperstar huh? to be an alltime great counter puncher you need to be incredibly fast, Everyone does it nowadays? again nonsense, Benitez won his 3rd world title 30yrs ago in 81, so thats not nowadays! He did struggle with Hearns, but anyone would struggle to counterpunch the Hitman because Tommy had such long arms for the weight, even Sweet pea Whitaker would struggle with the Hitman..

  • @dan32113

I said everybody wins three titles nowadays. aint no big thang. Even back in the 80s I felt Wifred was overrated and needed a hype job by the press to inflate his image. I also knew that the next time he met up with someone faster than him, he'd lose. all that about him being a counterpuncher only gets u so far. U got to be a complete fighter to get around an opponent's physical advantages. Take an elite fighter like Hagler who smoked him in 3. Wilfred couldnt do that being a cutie

  • @Piglatinsuperstar counter puncher only gets you so far? tell that to Pernell Whitaker the 1st man to beat Chavez in 90fights, although he was only awarded a draw by the judges, he was also one of the best fighters of the 20th century. Benitez beat one of the best ever light welter world champions Antonio Cervantes & that alone as a 17year old marks him as special! Simply because nobody else has ever achieved a World title at such a young age...

  • @dan32113

well YEAH, look what happened in the Leonard fight, Hearns fight. You say Tommy had the reach on him but didnt Tommy have te same reach on Hagler? being a cutie, Wilfred couldnt deal w Tommy cuz he didnt have a complete skill set like Hagler, who TOOK CHARGE, wiped him out in 3. Imagine Wilfred wiping out Hitman in 3. It was HAGLER who was special!

and leonard didnt have the reach on wilfred either; he was just faster than him. Meldrick & Norris, would also outpointed Wilfred

  • @ATACXGYM

FLOYD SENIOR? you never even SAW Floyd senior! how you going to comment on someone you never saw? "A quick fisted fighter with good movement"

That is where you are MOST WRONG! Terry Norris was a quick fisted fighter with good movement, that's why he baffled and humiliated Leonard. Leonard could never figure out a guy like Norris in time. While he is looking for opneings, Terry just opens up on him. He hit Ray so fast that Ray had to back up just to see what the hell he was doing

  • @Piglatinsuperstar yep we're going to disagree on this one, which is fine. I saw Floyd Sr. fight SRL when it happened. You are not in any position to tell me what I saw and what I didn't see. Floyd Sr. was a good fighter. You cannot take Terry Norris and compare him to SRL in his prime. SRL stood up to Hearns and Duran in their prime.Norris got KO'd by Simon Brown and Julian Jackson.SRL was better and had the better chin when each were in their prime.Period.You disagree? Fine. We just disagree.

  • @ATACXGYM

according to your bio you're age is 110. I believe you like I believe Green was a respected challenger. Floyd Sr wasnt even ranked top 10

as for Norris, well sure I can compare the two of them. At 154, Norris made 13 defenses, Leonard made none. Leonard was taken 11 rds by Nobody Bonds. Kalule & Howard took him nine. What makes you think Norris wouldnt kill him?

and While Jackson KO'd TN, Leonard couldnt make him blink! Is SRL now Julian Jackson? Youre not thinking clearly

  • @Piglatinsuperstar Norris--who I liked alot--was destroyed by Jackson and Simon Brown. When SRL fought Norris,it was 10 years after he fought Hearns,4 yrs after Hagler.Prime SRL destorys Norris, outclasses Jackson and KO's Simon Brown. You dislike SRL and like Hagler and Norris. Okay. But if Duran could make 154 and be fit? Prime Hagler,Duran, and Hearns beat Jackson and Norris,&SRL already beat them.Comparing SRL to Jackson is a step DOWN for SRL.You're the one who's not thinking clearly

  • @ATACXGYM

he's 110 years old. Doesnt know the difference between Wilfredo Gomez (a superbantamweight) and Wilfred Benitez

then says he watched Floyd mayweather live

    you're dumb

  • @Piglatinsuperstar Hagler is a true great,so is Ray Leonard. Neither deserve your ignorance besmirching their legacy...however you have every right to voice your opinion and I have nothing against your opinion per se.I'm curious as to what exactly you base your opinion on when you conclude that Hagler lost "EVERYTHING". And the man who fought a prime Thomas Hearns,a prime Wilfredo Gomez,a prime Roberto Duran twice,a prime Dave Green is not a timid wimp, whatever your opinion of him is.

  • @ATACXGYM

nobody questioning Hagler's legacy just like they don't question Ali's or Ray Robinson, but they reached the end of the line. Berbick & Holmes caught Ali at the end just like SRL caught Hagler at end of his. The difference is that Leonard did it by DESIGN, for yrs ignoring the public's demand for the contest until Hagler would finally come down to his level. Not like a champion

and did you say prime Dave Green & Wilfredo GOMEZ? u really DONT know boxing

  • @Piglatinsuperstar Must I bring out the facts to prove you wrong? Hagler was feared throughout his CAREER,not just in the '70s. His career ended after his fight with Sugar Ray,which happened in 1987,as any boxing historian worth his salt would know. Sugar Ray v Hagler made such a splash because Hagler was a feared hard punching pressure putting, vaunted champion whose boxing acumen had sharpened. Check wikipedia

  • What difference does it make really?

No one bases Leonard's greatness on anything having to do with Donnie LaLonde. They coulda made it for 3 titles and it wouldn't matter.

When people talk about how great SRL was, they point to how he beat 3 fighters who were #1 in the world when he beat them pfp (Duran, Hearns and Hagler)

No one justifies his greatness because of this fight. So how many titles were on the line and if it was kosher, is really a moot point.

  • They fought for both titles. Lalonde put up his WBC Light Heavyweight title and they fought for the vacant WBC Super Middleweight title as Ray was ranked the number 1 contender. They could only fight for both titles if the fight was made at 168lbs. Not sure if you are aware, but Lalonde was paid 15 millions dollars for this fight, the highest pay he ever received in a fight. If it was not for Ray, he would never have earned this much in a single fight.

  • You can take the best boxer ever and if he isn't conditioned he may be reduced to a punching bag. Get off the couch and in the ring some day and finded out.

  • Lalonde was worn out when knocked out. These guys are friends on Facebook, no hard feelings - money was made.

  • @949galaxy some of you people talk some real shit, "lalonde was worn out when knocked out" thats almost like saying a fighter only got knocked out because he got hit in the head! some of you people on these sites talk some real shit

  • Dude, who stole the MGM lion's mane and made a mullet out of it?

  • This fight was made at 168lbs and Lalonde told Larry Merchant after the fight that he had no trouble making weight (he had fought at this weight before) and he felt great on the night of the fight. This talk about he was "sick' and could not make weight is simply nonsense. Just accept he got a boxing lesson from one of the greatest fighters of all time. To clarify one other point, this was by far the biggest fight of Donnies career and he had never earned a six million dollar purse before.

  • @cubase27 crap, Lalonde was made to come in at 12stone limit. It shows the nonsense of boxing! Leonard was allowed to claim to vacant Super middle weight belt, & the light heavyweight belt because Lalonde was inside 12st. what a farce... Ray was of been smashed at lightheavy! Hearns went up to the weight & won the title legit. Leonard never fought at lightheavy, yet is the champ. too funny for words

  • @dan32113 Both fighters agreed to fight at 168lbs and Lalonde has fought many times at this weight before, just look at his boxing stats. tif he was unable to fight at this weight he should not have signed the contract.

He said after the fight (yes, the words came out of his own mouth) that he had no trouble making the weight.

Ray's record speaks for itself, what is too funny for words is that you are promoting some chump like Lalonde over a great fighter like Ray Leonard. More fool you.

  • @cubase27 what i don"t get is this!, ok they agreed to fight for vacant super middleweight title, but in winning this fight how then is Ray light heavyweight champion? he has never fought at that weight! It makes a nonsense of all the men who have fought in that division, he hasn"t even fought 1rd at light heavyweight. yet in the record books it says Ray Leonard WBC Lightheavyweight world champion. That IS a joke...

  • Bob Dylan at 6:26 !!!!! (or 6:27 )

  • Comment removed

  • Is everybody aware that for this fight Lalonde had to lose weight? This was a great fight for Leonard and he looked like the best in history destroying Lalonde that night but Donnie showed up to this fight practically sick. In almost every fight, the one who has to lose weight is the one who loses. Just get on a strict diet to lose weight for 6 weeks, wear a plastic sauna jacket in every cardio workout and later try to bench press the weight you used to lift, you'll see how weak you've gotten!

  • donnie is my cousin

  • Pacman has no "no mas, no mas" hahahaha. Sugar won by "no mas" hahaha but was badly beaten in their first match.

  • @abbeymanila he wasnt badly beaten it was a close decision.

  • @InternationalBoy Thanks for the correction. I stand corrected.

  • *Dialogue From "Naked Gun 2 1/2":

NORDBERG: "You sure know your boxing, Frank."

DREBIN: "All I know is, never bet on the white guy!"

  • Sugar Ray was the truth

  • @allhiphopallthetime

against Norris the truth DID LIE!!!

  • What a fighter!!

  • S.R.L beats PacMan in their PRIMES At welterweight ! Ray could bang with the best of them and he proved it !

  • SUGAR RAY LEONARD IS A LIVING LEGEND AND A HALL OF FAMER!!!!! PERIOD!

  • joe dirt

  • I had thought Lalonde's mullet would have given him the edge. That was a Samson mullet. Gave him his strength. But his mullet just wasnt powerful enough. If he had the Agassi mullet, Sugar Ray would have gotten crushed here. That was a frosted Mullet for the Ages.

  • @SocialDemocrats Recently Agassi confessed his mullet was a fake: he is and was bald!!!!

  • @SocialDemocrats Oh my Goodness! Good one, my friend! Now this fine Monday morning can begin!

  • sugar ray was simply sheer class

  • lalonde was a good puncher but not a great champion as leonard, so, (puncher or not puncher), in few rounds leonard took control of the match, until the final ko.

  • 1980's sugar ray leonard is the next opponent of manny pacquiao :)

  • @henrylakad

Believe me, Pacquiao wants NO PART of a prime Sugar Ray Leonard..

  • @RealFan357 yeah but sugar ray leonard want no part of a prime manny pacquiao.

  • @beastlyisland

WTF ever...you sound like an idiot..

Sugar Ray Leonard fought Tommy Hearns, Roberto Duran & Marvelous Marvin Hagler (who was the most BRUTAL fighter in the HISTORY of that division), in theor PRIMES, but he'd want no part of Pacquiao? SMH..fuckin idiot!!

I swear, you dumb ass pac-tards are about as annoying & dumb as kobe bryant's fans are..

  • @RealFan357 its funny how you got mad, i wasn't serous i just twisted his words around for fun. thas cool we are annoying (=

  • @RealFan357 Lol lol seriously, people make dumb ass comments without thinkin first. I personally feel that no current welterweight could see leonard in his prime. A slick boxer who also knew how to bang AND had a solid chin. That brotha was the truth.

  • @beastlyisland seriously? now... im no old man who thinks the old primes are better than the new ones just because of the nostalgic good memories but there is nooo way paqcuiao can beat ray!

  • @bigmike0094 nah lol i didnt watch alot of rays fights his a beast and i dont know how the fight would even end... i just said that for fun

  • this is going to be like pacquaio vs margarito trust me guys...

  • Hi brother needs to chat a, Asian women busizz4me.info

  • @darrylhaynes You're the one who was praying for a guy who wasnt 6 feet under. ass

  • fuck you...punk ass mark...

  • @darrylhaynes Oh, I'm sorry, did I make you feel just a little bit dumb. I'm SO sorry

  • you are sorry...

  • @darrylhaynes I read you profile, you start shit like this all the time, about RIPing alive people. Go back to your cave man, you can't bait me any more

  • go fuck yourself.....ass wipe...

  • @POTATER1228

Ray looks old right now. His face looks like a grapefruit that was left out in the sun too long. all swollen and round

  • @Piglatinsuperstar Are you kidding me? I just saw him in an interview a few months ago. Dude hasnt aged

  • @ 6:36 Donnie get's knock down and Sugar raised his arms, but...wait ...@ 6:42 Donnie stand's up like a man even if he is out on his feet...the ref. goes 1...2...3...and at 10(@6:48 without even looking at Donnie the stupid fucking ref. says "keep fighting" and of course @ 6:54 Sugar knowing tha he's punching a sleeping man on his feet decides to showoff with that "cranking arm thing" . fuck you ref and fuck you sugar ,that's one reason why I watch UFC now.

  • @luc649 Yes, are you finished kid, this is how you finish, ha ha.

  • Comment removed

  • Lalonde did the best he could but Leonard had a lot of experience which shows up in later rounds.

  • Floyd would have taken a vacation.

  • Sugar Ray Leonard

'david vs golaith I am really begining to like this guy.

  • Wow! He Punched the Fuck out of him!

  • @ 41ofus - You left out that he fought Donnie Lalonde for the WBC belts of 2 weight classes - 168 & 175 - which should be impossible to do in a single fight for obvious reasons. SRL should've had to fight 2 separate fights to win the belts of 2 weight classes. Otherwise it's just more political b.s. from SRL and his manager/lawyer Mike Trainer. SRL is an all time great, however, even though he never fought Pryor and cherrypicked rematches until he thought guys were shot.

  • what a great fight fantastic even watching from the fourth

  • canadians cant fight

  • @uploadermanz u must love the taste of your feet- Ignorance looks good on u

  • @piglatin only inferior race is YT, mutants, leperous, yellowbelly, torries, homosexuals, flea infested creating, murdering, ask all your people y they want sun tans?, if yt so superior how come so-called blacks & latins are in your military since the founding of this country? get off that ignorance, kkk, hide behind the law since creation. Ya'll really don't want no war. it's not in you. Lucky for the mutant man so-called blacks are forgiving towards the mutant beast! Just get skin cancer

  • @little95

nothing wrong with a little color. Personally, I dont like my meat raw. I hate red on a woman's feet. somewhere in the middle is about right. I sometimes fantasize about having just the right skin tone to improve my looks. you ever seen blacks with kinky blonde hair & blue eyes? That is a HYBRID if I ever saw one. So next time you see one, call out "you, HYBRID! You with the kinky blonde hair!" just to give him a complex. and what do you think about two tone pussy lips?

  • Comment removed

  • @little95 Well, Michael Jackson DID bleach himself white...

  • Black hair is straight pig,get your facts right? Now you tell me white women why they go for sun turns if white is right. You probably planning for one,coz you pale as a ghost.

  • @TheMwenyeji

Please, I do not argue with men from inferior races

  • @Piglatinsuperstar You hurt my feelings.Don't say things like that again................LMAO.Superior race my black dick.Do you believe yourself!!are in a cult or something?.

  • @TheMwenyeji

too late I already did. sorry

  • @TheMwenyeji Speaking of black dick, is there any doubt if Piglatinsuperstar wants Leonard's black dick? Go look at any Leonard youtube clip, and notice how Pig has not taken one day off for 5 years talking about Leonard. Teeny boppers don't obsess this much on boy bands. Do yourself a favor and ignore Pig. He has no honor. He's a faggot. And he slanders Leonard like a 6 yr old boy attacks a girl he likes. HE'S A SICK FUCK.

  • @JohnLoCicero True that.He is suffering in silence from being a sick fuck and has no one to talk to.Now back to boxing, really like this youtube clips coz it would take me forever to start getting this fights on CD.

  • @TheMwenyeji

That is cuz you are 2 stupid and dont know where to look. This shit's easy to get hold of and is found commonplace. later high yellow wanna be white boy

  • This was the Greatest Comeback Fight I've ever seen of Ray Leonard. He was basically a welterweight who moved up in weight and fought Donnie Lalonde, who was 174 pounds in this fight. Leolard was angry after he K.O'd Lalonde, because there were many American celebs (mainly Fara Faucet) in the audience actually cheering for the Canadian. Leonard was BAD ASS!!!!!

  • good fight...lalonde hard power puncher but just another brawler where leonard, superb in every aspect, a true boxer who proves it once again.

  • Damn, this dude was giving Leornard trouble up until the KO.

  • this C class fighter fought decently

  • 6:25 look the fuck out...here it comes !!!!

    Good night Donny !!!!

  • @SPOOKSTR

So he beat some goon named Lalonde big deal!! No one even knew where this guy was coming from. besides, I thought Ray had eye problems so why's he suddenly fighting and risking his eye with third rate pugs? and why did he do away with the thumbless gloves. big fuckin fraud!

  • @Piglatinsuperstar go fuck yourself. You dont even matter muthafucker.Sugar ray lernard for your stinking kuklux warthog ass.Black power bitch, black power.

  • @TheMwenyeji

black power been dead since the 70s. KKK all the way!

  • @TheMwenyeji

Hey African; black may be beautiful but white is right! Ask all your women why they straighten that hair

  • @SPOOKSTR

"Whoa look out Lalonde, here it comes!!"

Big deal! You act as if Lalonde were King Kong himself. Big, plodding, slow, talentless,,....

  • @Piglatinsuperstar

Chill out buddy, im sure your observations carry a lot of weight amongst your fellow fat gutted and bald friends who have never set foot in a ring....go put your frilly apron back on and be the bitch you always have been.

  • @SPOOKSTR

you were actually impressed by THAT???? HAHAHAH what a dickrider! "look out Lalonde, here it comes!!"

BTW, only Roy Jones had supreme hand speed and to whoever doesnt believe it, they're a toothless transvestite. that's an in-joke! Now please get a job

  • @SPOOKSTR What if I dont have a frilly apron? Can I borrow yours?

  • @SPOOKSTR hahaahaha...so right mate...damm thou that tall guy can let em fly as well..sugar ray just awsome.!!!!!

  • Thats a world class mullet Donnies sporting!!!

  • Leanord DESTROYED Lalonde. Very impressive performance from one of the truly GREATEST fighters EVER!

  • Canyou imagine what tommy hearns would have done to lalonde.

Ray leonard looked shot in this fight. He looked rejuvanated in the duran III fight though and had his hand and foot speed back. He really should have carried on in 1990 through to feb 1991 and had 3 fights and stayed active and went out on top. I would have recommended John Mugabi in early 1990, Nigel Benn in late 1990 and Michael Nunn to round it off.

  • leonard was America's Darling when he fought Hagler. he should've known that any decision would go to leonard. Especially since Ray had not fought in years. He simply did not do enough to beat ray.

  • this reff is fucking stupid! at 0:15 was a clear elbow to the head!

  • Was it fuck.

  • I love th fact that Leonard, who had something of a reputation as a RUNNER, moves UP to light heavy and turns BRUISER!

    Too muchski!

  • I am not, and never was, a Ray Leonard fan; but OH it is good to see him whup this CHEESE CHAMP!

  • @joeypolanski The fact remains that Leonard never lost to a bum or to be politically correct, a C level fighter. All losses were to good champions or fellow legends. He took care of business here like he was supposed to...a pride champ. Jones got knocked out by Danny green....nuff said.

  • One of the best fights ever!!! PERIOD!

  • I remember watching this fight live. Lalonde fought well in the first half of the fight but lacked stamina. Sugar Ray punished him for this, severly. One of the best fights I´ve ever seen though.

  • @babasdadda Just like what Leonard planed when a boxer has to lose weight it weakens them and reduces stanima. That is why he had Lelonde come down from his natural 175 to 168 to fight for this new super middleweight crown but also have Lalondes light heavyweight title also for grabs. Absolute bullshit. Plus Leonard had no intentions of ever defending those belts just wanted a couple of new trohpies for his shelf.

  • Sugar Ray Leonard from my home town, a real fighter and champion....

  • light heavy weight champion who doesnt fight by light heavy weight?

  • Fucking stupid referee, after the first kot Lalonde was barely standing on his feet and breathing by the mouth...how in the hell he made the the bout going on ?

  • Comment removed

  • ?????????

  • I think Sugar Ray Leonard was one of the worst boxing commentators ever in the sport. Whenever he was working a fight he would always talk about himself and how he would do things if he was in the ring. This guys ego was incredible. Thankyou Camacho for getting rid of this guy.

  • The only Sugar Ray Leonard fights that I like are the ones against Terry Norris and Hector Camacho.

  • @rickman125

This was a very competitive fight. I cant see how leonard could have made 175 he was too small.

Hagler fought John Mugabe at 12 rounds before leonard so the rounds where not the issue it was haglers overconfidence that was his downfall.

21 foot ring is now a common standard. The gloves are a common standard.

Anymore excuses for why Hagler an active genuine middleweight lost to a guy with one fight in five years none at middleweight?

  • @SirHappyThe1st Sure Mr, Happy here's an excuse. Leonard waited for Hagler to become ring worn. He saw that Hagler was starting to slip a little bit and after the brutal war he had with Mugabe he figured his time was right. Leonard ran from Hagler most of the rounds and did his little bitch slaps toward the end to steal the rounds. The 12th round he ran completely and was still awarded the round. the ring size, distance, and gloves were all negotiated by Leonard and that's fact.

  • Hagler showed no signs of being 'ring worn' against Mugabe. Watch the fight again it was one of Hagler`s best performances.

If your theory was correct Leonard would have gone for him straight after the Hearns-Hagler war.

Hagler fought orthodox in the first few rounds and gave them away. Later he was made to look ridiculous by being too slow.

Leonard threw and landed more shots on Hagler than the other way round this is a fact.

So what was Hagler`s excuse for agree 12 rounds mugabe?

  • @SirHappyThe1st The Mugabe fight was a brutal war that went both ways like Tua and Ike. Fights like that take a lot out of a boxer. Remember Hagler knocked out Hearns in 3 a lot quicker than what it took Leonard to do. Why are you lowering this conversation with name calling. I'm not a big Camacho fan, but I dislike Leonard more.

  • I smell piglatin on one of his gazillion alts. get a fucken life retard

  • If you are saying I'm piglatin sorry to dissapoint you but I'm not.

  • U think like him "Ray waited until Hagler was old and gray, ducked nunn, norris exposed him, camacho showed that he couldnt handle speed.."etc..all wild exaggerated statements

  • I never mention anything about Norris or Nunn. I just thanked Camacho for getting rid of Ray. Something that is factual. Do you want to defend SRL on how he was able to get Lalodne to come down in weight and have his light heavyweight title up for grabs. In his early years did Leonard ask Hagler to come down in weight to face him? How many times did Ray defend the light heavyweight and middleweight title? None.

  • Yea would have been nice to see Hags move down, but he was too chicken to do that. I dont give much credit for the LaLonde fight, but I give full credit for the first hearns and the hags fight...SRL pulled a miracle in both fights. Who cares about defending ? he beat the great names who cares about 20 bum defenses like hags had..or RJJ had...not important at all..

  • Agree with you on Roy Jones jr. The only time I cheered for Roy was when he fought Vinny Paz. I can't believe that a washed up Roy Jones fight still gets PPV coverage.

  • lol ok ur not pig, sorry bout that.

  • No problem with the sport of boxing it's impossible for everyone to agree on one boxer. Ray was a great boxer and deserves to be in the BHOF. I just hated how I felt that he let his ego get the better of him and the sport. The advantages he negotiated knowing he was the popular money draw, waiting years before giving Hearns a rematch, and able to get title shots after coming out of retirement skipping over other contenders. We now see a lot of that today, money talks.
