Its a good video, but sorry to tell you that this kind of items would be really good in the traditional style instead of having beats.

Unfortunaly now a days I see so many bhajans and stotras in the rock and beat style - if remix is 'modern' dont they find anything else to do so?!

I agree to what you say, even I don't prefer mantras that are rendered with a foreign accent or with westernized beats, but surprisingly I like the way this album (Sacred Chants) has been composed with close to perfect pronunciation and mild touch of contemporary beats to attract the younger crowd..

I hear you my friend! I was born and raised in Candad but I am still bilkool pakka Hindustani when it comes to my bhajans, sruti's and sadhana's! I like it all PURE Indian - whether Northern, Central or Southern style Indian, I prefer my mantras with the proper raaga's and taala's that were heard by our Rishi's and Muni's in days of yore; when the Gods themselves taught them how to construct & play the very instruments from the sounds they heard in their dhyana. Aum.
