Manga Facts from Dragon Ball Z ( One Manga) hold a lot more credibility, than Facts from Wonder Woman from 50 different shows and different comic books that have absolutley nothing to do with eachother. Those Authors and Producers had free rein to do what so ever they please. They could make WW whatever they wanted to as long as she looked like WW. In a debate you cannot use different sources that do not even correlate with one another, especially when sources contradict each other.

It is like choosing the best feat from one guys version of WW, and when you cannot find another feat in that series you have to find another feat for WW in another series, were she has a whole different range of power, ( as decided by the writer ) You cannot lump every feat WW has from different comics or shows. Well my point being with one writer, is that you or I could write a comic, or produce a show about any hereo, and we can make them whatever we want them to be..... MY point being is this debate is absolutley pointless. If we cannot take the original seriously than we cannot take anything seriously. I can absolutley assure you if we put every WW story by every author and by every producer up against eachother there would be plenty of contradictions between them, the reason is because they are not affiliated in any way shape or form, they really had free rein to make WW whomever they wanted. An author does not write a story based on another authors regulations, they do to a certain extent, maybe like her biography and her looks, but not on feats and powers.....

Frieza, in his first form is capable of destroying planets, which he does demonstarted in the manga. Android 18 is far superior to frieza and also superior to an untrained Super sayian. So ANYTHING they are capable of, so is she. Wonder woman fights humans, weak humans who at times have given her substantial trouble. When 18 fights humans they die with a flick of her finger. A gods power here is almost laughable, DBZ characters are stronger than gods haha.

-Future Trunks Clearly states that the Androids in the Original timeline are significantly stronger and different than the ones in his time. The Androids in the main timeline also are not blood lusted on the human race like the androids in his time. Do your research and you will find this true.
-Tien did not even scath cell, and yes he could hold him back, in any DBZ altercation even if you cannot defeat someone at least you can hold someone off, it has been done countless times.

Goku evolved in the same series, by the same creators, he evolved in ONE manga. WW is slapped here and there everywhere. Depending on the show or comic she ranges between the levels of Jesus, and just another woman who can kick ass.

It is funny, In both the comics and cartoons they clearly show WW fighting and winning against gods. But the way they relate (even the gods) power to us in the cartoons is LAME compared to the comics. I suppose the reason they do this, is to bring it to the audience on a scale we can identify with (picking up cars and tanks) instead of how things are shown in the books. Obviously there is no "real" WW, but this fact is exacerbated by their inability to find a consistent model to portray her.
@zercon2000 Wonder woman doesn't have great energy projection ability but her speed and strength is way more than android 18.. Wonder woman can channel lightning of Zeus(sky-father level character) through her bracelets..Android 18 hasn't shown reflexes to dodge lightning..One hit from Zeus's lightning will fry her..
Just to be clear, I'm not invested in the outcome of this hypothetical fight. Outside of WW being my favorite heroine, there really isn't much holding me to this topic. Based on the cartoons, I would probably stop the fight before WW got to the ring. I might let the comic one fight, but I'd probably make her give me her word she wasn't going to mess around lol. The idea that we need to take 1/3 of available info and then further reduce even that to a few (impossible) feats to (somehow) show a clear picture of who wins, seems more like hoping than anything else. @apio9 Granted, but here is a little project for you. Get out ALL your WW comics, and try to find places where some of her most incredible feats would have come in handy, and she didn't use them. I'm not saying this inconsistency means she loses, but it does mean she has some consistency issues to sort out (well the writers do anyways lol.) But again, the incessant leapfrogging of power in DBZ and what they "consistently" relate to us (the audience) puts 18 at least on par with WW (imo.)

@apio9 She doesn't even need one fight. She could of had half a fight, it's how that fight fit into a world that shows impossible feats "consistently." They lost the ability to relate speed early in the show, because after all how can you relate not being able to see something on screen any faster than the last time? lol. Wouldn't be very easy. But, they relate it by using characters who can move and see "very quick things" who still can't see this "new speed increase." This relationship is key.
Here's what really strikes me as important. In order for WW to defeat 18, she would need to do what she only does sometimes in comics, and (almost) NEVER anywhere else. To me, that's pretty strong. Plus they have problems in the cartoons, where DC characters have trouble lifting a few things which should be easy. in DBZ Gohan lifts a jet copter and an airplane with zero strain. Them showing this isn't important to me. What's important to me, is what they intend for me to "know" by showing it.

@apio9 Let's be honest though, their "true" power doesn't exist because well... they don't hehe. This really only leaves what they intend for us to know. I think we would both agree, WW might not beat 18 even in the comics unless she is showing her "real" ability. But we should also agree she would look almost silly in a fight with 18, if they portrayed her the way they do in the cartoons. They do a terrible job of showing DBZ'ish power in the animations, and probably don't even intend to.
Obviously we can't measure the actuality of this fight, because no actuality exists. I'm just saying, by what we see with our own eyes... it doesn't look good. It's because of this, I give the hypothetical fight to 18. Even in the comics, WW doesn't blink around the sky (like a dbz char) on a consistent basis. And shame on her for that, there are people to be saved dab nabbit! lol

Manga Facts from Dragon Ball Z ( One Manga) hold a lot more credibility, than Facts from Wonder Woman from 50 different shows and different comic books that have absolutley nothing to do with eachother. Those Authors and Producers had free rein to do what so ever they please. They could make WW whatever they wanted to as long as she looked like WW. It is so stupid to compare DBZ characters to DC or Marvel characters. They come from completley different worlds. Anything Frieza+ is capable of blowing up planets if they chose to do so. Past the Frieza saga pretty much any dragon ball z character is capable of destroying planets, and move at super sonic speeds, not even visible to the human eye.Comparing a mravel character to dbz is a disgrace. Frieza, in his first form is capable of destroying planets, which he does demonstarted in the manga. Android 18 is far superior to frieza and also superior to an untrained Super sayian. So ANYTHING they are capable of, so is she. Wonder woman fights humans, weak humans who at times have given her substantial trouble. When 18 fights humans they die with a flick of her finger. A gods power here is almost laughable, DBZ characters are stronger than gods haha.

-Future Trunks Clearly states that the Androids in the Original timeline are significantly stronger and different than the ones in his time. The Androids in the main timeline also are not blood lusted on the human race like the androids in his time. Do your research and you will find this true.
-Tien did not even scath cell, and yes he could hold him back, in any DBZ altercation even if you cannot defeat someone at least you can hold someone off, it has been done countless times.

Thats nice that WW dodges bullets, the Androids simply let themselves be hit by bullets and they fall off of them like flies. Obviously niether us or going to agree, but thats cool. This battle is not realistic and not a fair fight for poor WW, she would be slaughtered. It is funny, In both the comics and cartoons they clearly show WW fighting and winning against gods. But the way they relate (even the gods) power to us in the cartoons is LAME compared to the comics. I suppose the reason they do this, is to bring it to the audience on a scale we can identify with (picking up cars and tanks) instead of how things are shown in the books. Obviously there is no "real" WW, but this fact is exacerbated by their inability to find a consistent model to portray her.

Based on the cartoons, I would probably stop the fight before WW got to the ring. I might let the comic one fight, but I'd probably make her give me her word she wasn't going to mess around lol. How about you apio, do you see the "cartoon" fight ending favorably for WW?

@littlebill42 you're right,WW helped supeman to lift the heviest objets in univers,she has kept up with flash many times,sha has fought a bloodlustedd superman,amazo,powergirl(owned easily),a bloodlusted flash many tiomes even zoom(she lazo him),that shows her great reaction time(faster than a nano second),WW has taken full power attacks from superman,flash,gods,obliviomn who is a celestial being,she blocked a planet busting attack from celectial beings,18's dead,look how bias is the one below

@littlebill42 Jet-Li is in the same class as Bruce Lee and he is the best fighter. So Jet-Li should win lol. Seriously though, we're talking about two completely different universes here. A being as powerful (and powerful can mean a lot of different things) as B, doesn't necessarily mean that A is more powerful than C UNTIL we find out how powerful C is. Can B defeat C? Maybe. Oh btw, this is someone elses account, I couldn't find mine lol. (don't blame zercon2000) And yes, I know I mispelled Darkseid earlier. I should clear that up before it "matters." But if you need anymore evidence, you can even just watch this video. They have wonder woman doing stuff you NEVER see her do until THIS video. Think about it... when you think of wonder woman, do you imagine her darting around the sky like a DBZ character? I don't think so...

@apio9 So she loses in the cartoons? I'm asking because you didn't say lol. If we're being honest, we're basing this smackdown of 18 on feats from a comic, against DC characters. Which is fair. But we're somehow not taking into account what we can glean from ANY dbz media? But that's ok, I'm guessing that's why 18 is "so dead" here. What's odd is how poorly WW's feats are portrayed in almost all video media. I mean, if they wanted us to see DBZ ability, they do a terrible job of showing this.

@zercon2000 WW from the animated series is no match for 18(in manga/anime she's in the same level) that's for sure,but if we put comic wonder woman against 18,wonder woman so destroys her,the writters have ways to show the speed of characters,in manga they make it seem like they desappear,in comics sometimes use other ways to draw the characters when they fight at super speed,WW doesn't use speed in fight as much as flash,but GOD!!! she has speed if she needs it!,don't doubt she's faster than 18

@apio9 Now I don't have anything against your opinion, I just feel like there's a bit too much stretching when it comes to fantasy battles. The idea that we need to take 1/3 of available info and then further reduce even that to a few (impossible) feats to (somehow) show a clear picture of who wins, seems more like hoping than anything else. On top of this, we also need to practically ignore what IS shown incessantly on the other side of the argument. (DBZ chars ALWAYS doing the impossible)

@zercon2000 WW helped pull the earth,the moon many times,spectrum,a massive asteroid falling down very fast,she's consistant,WW use her full potentia just in very important fights,like against superman,or amazo,she moved behind him before he finish a short word and take him down,very a la DBZ,or when she hit powergirl(whoe was in USA) at super speed,again like DBZ,just that she did it from canada!,they make WW use her true power in importan fights,the rest of the time they play aroond with her

@apio9 Granted, but here is a little project for you. Get out ALL your WW comics, and try to find places where some of her most incredible feats would have come in handy, and she didn't use them. I'm not saying this inconsistency means she loses, but it does mean she has some consistency issues to sort out (well the writers do anyways lol.) But again, the incessant leapfrogging of power in DBZ and what they "consistently" relate to us (the audience) puts 18 at least on par with WW (imo.)

@zercon2000 18 don't need consistency,cos she had one true fight in her whole carrer,in the other hand WW kept up with flash many times,fought a bloodlusted flash many times,fought cheetha many times whoe has powers of a god and trained by zoom has speed to match flash,WW took flash out of the speed force,lassoed flash when couldn't stop and even zoom,fough with super speed against bloodlusted superman,but against weak opponents they depowered her to make the fight longer,DBZ has a lot PIS too

@apio9 She doesn't even need one fight. She could of had half a fight, it's how that fight fit into a world that shows impossible feats "consistently." They lost the ability to relate speed early in the show, because after all how can you relate not being able to see something on screen any faster than the last time? lol. Wouldn't be very easy. But, they relate it by using characters who can move and see "very quick things" who still can't see this "new speed increase." This relationship is key.

Here's what really strikes me as important. In order for WW to defeat 18, she would need to do what she only does sometimes in comics, and (almost) NEVER anywhere else. To me, that's pretty strong. Plus they have problems in the cartoons, where DC characters have trouble lifting a few things which should be easy. in DBZ Gohan lifts a jet copter and an airplane with zero strain. Them showing this isn't important to me. What's important to me, is what they intend for me to "know" by showing it.

@zercon2000 in TV comic characters don't have their true power,it's cos stupid poroducers make the show for kids,so they can't show some kind of things,it's why DBZ was so censored(and i mea nvery,very censored!),it's'why it should be a chanel to make animated series for more grown up people,i told you WW uses her true power often,but she don't fight a powerhouse in every boock,and she can't one shooted a weak foe and finish the comic in 1 page,that's why they depower her for some fights

@apio9 Let's be honest though, their "true" power doesn't exist because well... they don't hehe. This really only leaves what they intend for us to know. I think we would both agree, WW might not beat 18 even in the comics unless she is showing her "real" ability. But we should also agree she would look almost silly in a fight with 18, if they portrayed her the way they do in the cartoons. They do a terrible job of showing DBZ'ish power in the animations, and probably don't even intend to.

Obviously we can't measure the actuality of this fight, because no actuality exists. I'm just saying, by what we see with our own eyes... it doesn't look good. It's because of this, I give the hypothetical fight to 18. Even in the comics, WW doesn't blink around the sky (like a dbz char) on a consistent basis. And shame on her for that, there are people to be saved dab nabbit! lol

@zercon2000 18 can do the same in manga and cartoon,in cartoon WW isn't even the half of what she is in comic,hypotheticaly 18 don't win against comic WW,in cartoons they don't show WW as powerful as she's in comic,don't blame me for that,WW blinks around the sky better than almost everyone in DBZ,i gave you some examples,DBZ characters don't always fight using her full strenght,speed and so on,it was stated,the same happens to WW,WW has speed if she needs it,why?,cos she showed many,many times!
