Skyrim is just too easy - only one or 2 really hard fights if ur playing an assassin or a mage and dont have enough mana pots... isnt there any mod to get a higher difficulty?

Remember, Coldturkey, an assassin's purpose is to stealthily kill a single person in one strike. The Dark Brotherhood's members, simply, have never had the need or chance to defend themselves.

Which level are you? By looking at the stats of the Blade of Woe you must be high. And the difficulty is important I suppose.

Anyway, what I want to say that they are one of that The Dark Brotherhood is one of the first quest chains you can get. If you are low level they can be hard to kill. Thieves are weak in this game. Sneaking is the only thing they have. Even not all quest are made so you can play them as one. And the NPC assassins don't even use illusions.

Or maybe I'm just bad at games.

have you seen what like that festus krex is when astrid betrays the brotherhood and they kill him, he just looks so epic when he has 100 arrows and hes like oh noes in that tree :D its later in dark brotherhood chain quest :)

About the Dark Brotherhood: I'm pretty sure that, in the lore, that the Skyrim branch is the only branch left in Tamriel.

Of course, I could be wrong.
