  • These are the closest thing to heaven on Earth in reason I guess. Right here somehow in the deepest recesses of smart people. Your fractals are the best I've seen.

  • Thanks very much, mermaidcany.

    They are beaufiful to make.

    All done with freeware, too.

  • if your on mac Ive got a mandelbulb (3d fractal ) generator for you

  • Alas, I have a PC.

Thanks anyway, brother. Very much appreciated.

LoL! I think I blew the fan out on my laptop from running fractals 24/7 for months on end. Haha!

  • Damn.

  • :-)

  • This reminds me of the journey of growth and change and of how all things are in many different and yet in the same manner connected in their own manner of insight and understanding. What is amazing about this to me is of how the basic fundamental is plain and also of how at times we may assume the the right path to go by way of being mislead by the common vanities of the world and are able to find the proper path in areas of the being in which makes our journey in this life much easier.

  • Yes. Mathematics looks for the deep patters that are shared by things that on the surface look dissimilar. We have have two problems that we think are unrelated and then suddenly see that below the surface they are actually the same problem and we can approach one with the solution the developed for the other.

In this fracal the Mandelbrot form keeps arising as we go deeper and deeper, no matter what path we choose.

  • Like in life, we can choose a "wrong" or misleading path, and yet the same fundamental seed-form will arise, allowing us to start again and take a different path.

Thanks for your comment, David. It is very insightful and thought-provoking !!!!!

  • Very cool. Thanks for that happy multi-zooms video. Nice music.

  • Thanks, BrumarTube. Glad you them.

  • Very good! Well TO - not From - Oblivion I would say!

  • Yeah !

  • This is really cool! How did you do this?

  • 5 Star cool.

    Very nice music.

  • Mathematics has always filled me with awe. Glad you like it.

  • Nice Mandelbrot set^.^

  • Thanks, CP.

I see you are a fan of ThePreacher84040.

I was talking to abassamadani today.

He has deduced that ThePreacher is back in the Phillipines (early morning timestamp in his video title, but sun coming through skylight directly overhead).

  • this vid is so cool im putting it on my favz

    :)

  • Thanks, killz4. Much appreciated.

    I'm glad you like it.

  • "Wow, I love those things, I'll have to subscribe here", I thought, but then it turned out I had already subscribed here earlier some time! : )

  • Yup! You're a buddy.

  • this is the best !!

    wow !

they keep gettin' better & better ....

  • Thanks, bebrot' !

    Glad ya like it.

    Fun ending, eh?

  • This one was different from the others ..

everything from cells to eyeballs , flowers , figures ....

the ending ..you mean how it closes like a book?

  • Yeah, I got some good variety in this one.

Not the book closing, but how the descent stops abruptly with the music.

  • This has just GOT to be the key to the universe. Elegant formula, limited set, unlimited play, always mirrored. And I could swear I saw a seven sided pagoda at 3:18-19. I'll die happy if I can figure this out. THANK YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN, Cimbolic!

  • Anything for you, brainouty !

It's rare to encounter someone who loves these things as much as I do.

So, I am VERY happy to make it for you.

  • I made a new playlist called "Mandelbrot!" and put your videos there. Will put the rest of them in there now also. Just gorgeous. I'm not good with math notation, but the graph or imaging depictions make immediate sense. I just know this Mandelbrot thingy is the key to everything, but I don't know why.

  • The playlist sounds great.

I've been meaning to study the math more deeply, but just haven't had the time. I'm intrigued that the points are on the complex plain, so they involve the square root of negative one. A grand mystery!

  • Agreed!

  • a cool one. please watch my mandelbrot zoom video.

  • Will do.

  • You know, I love these kind of mental shafting videos, but I can rarely sit and watch six minutes of them straight. It's this music. It's extremely captivating. I decided to go put The Will of Love on a playlist of mine, and it's been growing on me quickly. Most everything I listen to is underground indie that no one's ever heard of, but now I'm wondering where you're getting your tracks from.

  • Hi MR,

See the link in the description box.

I use the songs in the Electronica/Ambient Music section of the Magnatune web site.

If you want to use one of the songs in a YouTube video, you license it by simply buying and downloading the collection the song appears in, and adding credits to your video.

    Very handy!

  • The same artist, Falik, has an exquisite song called "Seduction". I used the first part of it my video called 'Cat Celebrates Conquering the Bookcase."

    It's remarkable.

  • i absolutely LOVE the oriental touch ,the tabla was great..

    well done cimboo

    5 stars ♥

  • Thanks very much, Noonooooo.

I'm very happy you like it.

  • * Political Debates on Indian Elections

  • Man, I can just stare at these for hours

  • Me, too.

  • so great I may like this one the best of all you have done..

Hope all is well my friend

  • Very glad you like it.

I'm fine. Hope you are well, too.

  • :-)

  • How do you do that? I love that.

  • I'll send you a link to the freeware.

You just point, click, drag, and repeat.

    It's great !

  • Another Nice Video :)

    so Creative!!!!

  • Thank you, my friend.

I trust all is well with you.

  • ofcourse Dear, everything going well.

It's Poll Time in India and I am involved more on Political Debates in India.

  • That must be fascinating!

  • Extremely. But, in Indian Elections, The Issues are Entirely Different.

  • That makes perfect sense.

Out of curiosity, what would you say the major issue is?

  • Nice

  • Gracias.

  • Wicked!!!!!!!!

I bet $ this will be Creationists next model for proving there must have been a creator.

  • Thanks, Feredir.

Alas, display does not consitute proof.

    :)

  • I meant: constitute.

Fingers moving too quickly on the keys.

  • Nick, Is this mathmatical artistry?

I don't think I ever saw anything quite like it but it is very pretty to gaze upon! Kinda reminds me of spiral graft only at warp speed..LOL! It is also kinda hypnotic!

  • The Mandelbrot fractal is beautiful isn't it ?

It's a truly remarkable thing, and fascinating to explore. And the equation that generates the fractal is incredibly simple. It's just wondrous, really.

  • Very creative Cimbolic.

I watched the original video post. It's interesting how many believe they understand spiritual things and therefore qualified to teach. The Path is not easy, and not for the average man. Just when you think you understand, you come realize the rabbit hole goes much deeper, similar to a fractal. Unless one is raising the dead, silence is ones best ally, something very few truly will allow themselves to see, but are quick to correct or judge.

    I'm ranting to an Atheist.

  • :) Ah, but an atheist who is open-minded to things spiritual. So, all ranting is much appreciated, MW.

I'm very glad you like the fractal descents.

  • Nicely done. How long did these take to compute?

  • Thanks, Mozza. About four weeks running 24/7.

  • Great music, too! Oh, Cimbolic, this is fabuloso! THANK YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN!

  • Same musician as the one on my cat video: Falik.

You're welcome times 10. Thanks for being you.

  • FLAT GORGEOUS FLAT GORGEOUS FLAT GORGEOUS!!!

Each time it ran I thought, "oh, he's really outdone himself this time, can't get better" -- and then it did! What a great ending, too, like a pagoda!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, CIMBOLIC!!!

  • You are very welcome, my dear brainouty.

I don't think anyone I know appreciates the Mandelbrot as much as you do, so it's a great joy to make them for you!

  • Wow Nick!!! Thanks for sharing! How did you do this?!

  • Hi, Elizabeth.

I used freeware called "fractalizer" to make the fractal descents. Then strung them together and added music.

Let me know if you'd like the web address to the freeware.

    Glad you liked it !

I've made several of them. :~~~)
