She seemed to place more importance on holding notes for longer rather than connecting with the song and singing is beautifully. Melanie Amaro - As Paula said "her voice is like fine China". She's good singer but what I regret about her is that wish she had bigger voice. She sang "Man in the Mirror and "Will you be there okay for me because she had no bigger notes in the chorus of the songs - that's what L.A. Reid talks about when he comment. If she win, I believe she won't sell lots of albums because she's like Alexandra Burke on imaging and voice, not like Leona Lewis for me.

Her initial audition ("Natural Woman") is sung out of tune 4 almost THE ENTIRE SONG. I'm surprised this issue hasn't been addressed by the judges, & the vocal coaches. It's really terrible. The screaming's not really my taste, either, but some pple like it, so oh well. Different strokes. Melanie's vocals are great. The new Mariah!
