2:31-3:22 is using warmup1 for going high and low

3:22- last exercise using whole body with warmup 1

  • hahaha my dog does too! lol

  • 2:51 The Last Exorcism

  • i can't bend my neck forward and backwards because there's something wrong with my back right now that wont let me look down or bend my neck too far back. so do you have to bend your neck or can you just keep the neck still and just do high to low notes while lip trilling?

  • this is too entertaining. lol

  • I can't get my voice to go that high what should I do to help me?

  • @xoxoZebraOxox awwww i would die if that happened!!!

  • My lips are getting itchy x3

  • she is gorgeous!

  • yay! you're great! thanks for the tips, gotta love the ol' lip trill!

  • Geez, you're hitting a D6! Haha. Great.

  • Is this a joke?

  • wow thanks :)

  • No need to lip roll, it's not your lips which need training, it's your vocal chords and the whole set of muscles inside and around your larynx and pharynx.

  • May sound stupid but these exercises really work! If you're really a singer and need stamina it helps tremendously. I do this before any gig and I have a ton more stamina and vocal strength.

  • I can't do it!!! :( and when I try I look and sound like an idiot my boyfriends laughing at me lol

  • Yeah I couldn't do any of that.

  • Thanks, I am training some songs with my students and will use it with them!!! Fun and useful!!!!!

  • she's beautiful!

  • yep i just got a call from the state mental hospital on a tip i may be losing my mind. but i love the exercises

  • I think she's incredibly sweet. And of course very hot... But besides that... I like these exercises. They get yer body into it.. The trill thingy has helped me alot... If Michael was alive he would want to sing with me. =o)

Kiiiidddiiiiing!! Yenny ways this helped alot. Thanks fer takin thuh tyme. You rock and yes... You are.. Adorable.

  • @Trykan360 I'd consider her "pretty," in a classical, simple manner. Rather than "hot".

  • lol wtf?

  • when she does the high and low car imitation thing she looks like an alien trying to speak human lol

  • Comment removed

  • i hope i can do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yea this uh yea okaiiey den???

dis chick kinda looks lik Lois Griffin

  • This is great!!!!

  • Please search "youtube Panofka 24 Vocalises" then you see all exercise

  • @Mapanatl dude, when in a hole - stop digging! you are now trying to prove you can't do your job properly. idiot. do what the lady says and look it up on google. it will take you 5 seconds and save yourself a lot of embaressment. I'd also like to add that if we never hear from Mapantl again, that means he looked it up and was too chicken to come back here and admit he was wrong! XD

  • My dog stared at me like I was insane when I started doing this Lol

  • @SashaandCale same here , my chihuahua barked a lot when I sang Ma Ma Ma ,...

  • @classico6788 Lol :D

  • @SashaandCale

Mine too! Then she started barking at me, freaking out at what I was doing, when I stood up and did the arm movements.

  • haha - @mapanatl - what a tool. "BS suppositions" indeed.

  • @Mapanatl I'm a final year medical student: we get taught on acid base problems as they are important. I have reassessed what I said and have verified I am correct.

However, you shouldn't just take my word on it a simple 'googling' will get you the same results as what i have been saying here. If you google 'hyperventilation carbon dioxide.'

Wikipedia has a simple and interesting article.

Look it up for yourself - acid-base balance is very interesting.

    Peace, xYz.

  • @Yzzy0811 Nice one Yz :)

  • @Yzzy0811 Wiki is NOT and official, Bona-fide reference. it is written by ANYONE and sabotaged by anyone.

I am a medical Researcher in Medical Device designer and WE are the ones who teach even doctors on use or techniques for therapy and use of new med equip. Acid-base balance may be indeed interesting but you have it backwards (and your Wiki source)

  • @Mapanatl I know that Wiki is not necessarily accurate. However, I referenced it due to the fact that it was correct this time. I did not use Wiki to write my answer to you, I used my medical core textbook and made sure that I was correct. Did you do as I suggested and look it up for yourself?

I again have verified the veracity of my statements before posting this.

You should check again - maybe you are confused as to what I said originally. I am confident as to what I am saying.

  • Klunk from wacky races used to talk like that.....!!!!!

  • sexy girl !

  • this did make me laugh oh so very much!

  • love her accent lol just saying

  • id like to listen to u singing

  • Marry me. . . .

  • oh for a second there in the beginning i thought she was talking about a vagina...

  • @junetterocks hahahahah XD

  • PLEASE HELP! Can you give me a regimen for this? I train by myself and I have no mentor, so I don't know how to organize the exercises to get the maximum effect. I feel I am gravely without direction here, and I want to improve so much. I hope you wil be kind enough to advice me. Thanks in advance!

  • me gusta

  • I love ur accent and the way u talk!

  • Haha my dog looks at me really funny when I do these exercises... :)

  • Can someone tell me if this warmup is good to do before singing ? if so how many minutes of practice should I do before a singing session ?

    Thanks for the lesson !

  • Hi - I find that starting the lip vibration with 'p', 't', 'd' or 'b' actually introduces mild tension to the lips, jaw and tongue root - which stiffen muscles around the larynx and vocal cords, and reduces mouth resonance. Also, the breath flow tends to come from the middle of the body and not abdominal muscles. Start with airflow only. You can find out more at my channel (click on my name link to the left). All the best, Alexander

  • Thanks

  • this is a vocal warm up session, not a vid for dirty perverts making typical comments

  • so hot

  • my nose itched everytime i did the first excercise lol

  • i love this girl she is so beutifull i would totally like to know her in person

  • ahah i have the neighbors problem also!! sucks ahaha

  • You don't actully have to move your head up and down, you can do it just by staring straight ahead. :)

  • i think i just got aroused

  • This video got me horny

  • Yeah as that dude said surely all that neck movements not good

  • The reason why you shouldn't be moving your neck up and down with the lips trills because you must keep your column also known as the airway, open, it's not "safe" for your vocal folds to be kept in such small space and also more air may be needed to keep a natural flow of the sound you are distributing from your vocal folds and partialy blocking the air way is not supporting your voice.

  • she's crazyyyyy.... but in a cute way...

  • Thanks a lot lady.

  • Good teaching and so cute..;)

  • she is beautiful =)

  • what does the lip trill do lol

  • LOL!! But definitely sound advice, charmingly presented.

  • My neighbors must think i'm insane

  • @topsy420 y u say dat

  • @topsy420 atleast you dont have ppl working on your house the construction guys must think im insane :D

  • @topsy420 oh god I fuckin' laughed my ass off xDDDD

  • @topsy420 That's why I close all the windows lol

  • i was singing the titanic theme song "my heart will go on" and this has helped me so much on hitting those high notes D: thank you so so much <33

  • That's a really good exercise, thanks :-)

  • 3:00 .. she's being abducted by an UFO

  • u have helped me so much

  • she's too cute! It's hard to concentrate on my vocals when I just wanna kiss her on her silly little dragon lips. bbbbbbbbblllllll

  • OMG!!!!!!!!THIS REALLY HELPED!!!!!!!!1 at FIRST I WAS GOING TO GIVE UP BUT THEN AFTER ABOUT 3 MINUTES I GOT THE HANG OF IT!IM SERIOUS

  • nice accent

  • LOL this is funny!

  • shes kinda hot lol just saying

  • Este exercícios são indicados pela fonoaudiologia moderna, mas são completamente ineficazes para aquecer a voz para o canto. Há um tremendo equívoco aqui.

  • where this girl from? her accent sounds british-russian or something

  • shes trying to speak with english accent

  • @loombaron She is clearly not a native English speaker, but might have learned British English. He r English is really good! Odds are she has a Scandinavian background.

  • @uranidiot33 My guess she is Scandinavian--Swedish or Danish, maybe Norwegian or even Icelandic.

  • thank you posting this, i am a singer yunus malik from india thanksxxxxxxxxxx

  • You're very pretty.

  • when i do this it kind of makes me feel dissy ?? especially when i do it longer.?

  • When you breath deeply you blow off carbon dioxide(co2) - this makes your blood more alkaline (as co2 is an acidic gas) - this is what is making you feel dizzy. It is the same as what happens when people have a panic attack and why you should treat panic attacks with a paper bag as this increases the concentration of CO2 and returns your blood level to normal. Tried to make explianation as simple as possible, let me now if you still don't understand! xYz

  • I've never heard of that... that's nice, thank you for such a thorough explanation. And yes, it was simple enough, at least for me, even though I'm not the one who asked.

  • @Yzzy0811 wait so if c02 is the one the lvl to normal ur blood pressure?

  • @Yzzy0811 Deep breaths also create changes in cardio-hemodynamics, which can also cause dizziness, or rarely actual fainting.

  • @Yzzy0811 Sorry I think you're WRONG!!

deep breaths OXYGENATE your blood more. and thus become ACIDOTIC.

same when you Hyperventilate you become Acidotic (and You do get dizzy and even a head pain)

People who are on a life-support Ventilator get their blood Ph Read constantly as a means to asses Blood Oxygen concentration (Pulse Oxymetry is only a Ball-park assessment) pO2

This is MEDICAL STUFF not YOUR BS suppositions.

  • thts because your not use to it but after time you will be better

  • if i warm up without eat, usually i get a little dizzy (is not that i gotta "eat everytime i would warm up", but, i need to have something in my stomach).

  • I don't get why some people say it looks funny. The lip roll is the easiest and simplest way to warm up your vocal cords. Make sure your throat vibrates and not your face. If your nose is vibrating means you're doing it wrongly.

  • it makes me laugh when she pauses forever and gets right back into it lmao

  • thank you for posting this. I am a rusty high school vocal coach, and was searching for new ideas (and basically a refresher course on how to explain the process) and happy to have found your videos.

  • loooooool shez possesed wot is dis!

  • the lip trill tickles my nose

  • she' cute

  • lol

  • you have to admit these exercises are kinda funny... but helpful! Now let's see if i can do this with a straight face...

  • I don't care if this work or not, I like her!!! lol..

  • Thank you! If you lived in Puerto Rico you would do an Excellent Vocal Coach. jejeje I need one. But these tips are great! Thanks once again!!!

    Leslie

  • thanks :)

  • Being a vocal music major myself, I am pretty sure she knows what she is doing. I take from the best vocal coach in Houston and I still do these exercises. I have taken voice lessons since I was 5.

  • lol! that lip how it is called is too funny..I don't do that at my singing classes ....it looks a bit ridiculous..but It might help..

hahhaha too funny,,,the breathing video is more helpful than this.

  • you have a german accsent

  • I don't know about anyone else but I think she's so hot!

  • lol

  • heh :p

  • hey thanks alot!

    is so helpful!

  • My nose tickle! :]

  • If anyone saw me doing this (maybe on spycam) i will kill myself. Muhahaha. :P But I am sure this will help alot! :D Please watch my videos and tell me what to work with!

  • lol ya

  • Omg. What's up with the thumbs down?

  • noo noo noo u never stretch your cords like that by strching your neck it will cut off your sound and could hurt u !!

  • From first hand experience, this actually DOES work!

  • awesome video

  • The lip trill and tongue trill strenghthen the musculus cricothyroideus which is for correct posture of the larynx.

  • Can anyone explain what exactly this exercise does?

  • This video was so awesome! Did she it sounds a little bit like imitating a car or the snorting hose?

  • goood !!! ^^

  • Why does everyone always say Diaphrgm support?? It doesn't support its only a muscle of inhalation, exhalation is what matters and the abdomens are the ones that support the voice on exhalation.

  • The diaphragm supports the rate of exhalation and the intercostal muscles (between the ribs)support the control of the diaphragm. The upper abdominal muscles will naturally contract, however, they are not altogether responsible for air control. When you have the diaphragm and intercostal muscles working together in good partnership, they are also a wonderful tool for adjusting your volume, but this takes time and practice.

  • Uh....no! Everything you just said is total BS. Go study the human respatory system and then read what you just wrote. Meaningless!!! You're probably not a good singer.

  • I have qualifications both medically and musically that quantify what I have stated. Your manners and level of education are questionable however, and any future ignorance will be totally ignored. PS...spellcheck - respiratory. God bless you...

  • Where did you go to school? By the looks of it you failed. Learn to spell before you question the intellectual capacity of another person. Idiot.

  • That just shows much you know buddy. Nice try.

  • I don't need to know you, to know, you don't know squat. How about you learn something about the subject being discuss at hand and then come back and try to have an intellectual conversation and not just cup outs. Like Feebeedee who says she has credentials but can't defend her arguments.

hmm, not very smart is she??

  • here's the thing - your diaphragm acts as a mechanism to drop your lower organs so your chest can expand and the lungs can fill fully. As you compress the abs you force the diaphragm to ascend - this is how you control the amount of air you exhale out of the lungs.

The diaphragm acts as a kind of bellow - letting air in and pushing air out. Control the diaphragm and you control your breath.

feebeedee- You said it in a typical "I've read lots of books" manner which most people don't understand

  • Yyour comment towards me was not necessary. Yes, I've read lots of books, but that is beside the point. Practical application has also played a significant part in my education. As the diaphragm flattens out, its mechanism is not to "drop your lower organs". It is the flattening out of the diaphragm that causes the ribs to expand, thereby increasing the volume. Thanks for taking the time to contribute, that's how we all learn.

  • my point was simply this - the "trouble" with most comments by "singers" and "teachers" here on YouTube usually have one of two flaws.

    1. they're either painfully uneducated OR

    2. they are too educated and can only speak in terms to oblique for beginners to understand. To much "textbook speak",terminology etc. It confuses the student. They want simple, easy to understand concepts and explanations.

Not saying you're incorrect but you wording is "too book-sih" for most beginners to grasp.

  • I meant to say "it allows your lower organs to drop" so the chest can expand fully. Thereby the bottom 2/3 of your lungs can fill fully. This is what we call "Maximum breath potential".

But in truth your diaphragm does push your stomach down when it descends

  • Thank you. Why don't you add some more lessons? This one's very useful. I'm going to check the second one now. Kiss.

  • thabk you this was helpful..5 stars

  • very good! :)

  • lmfaooo

    wtf

ahah im sure it works though
