there are tyre marks ahead of this humvee when it is stuck. you can see that. that means some other vehicle has crossed this hole where this humvee gets stuck. not an impressive performance

All 4x's get stuck!! The H1 is an awsome truck. Half of the fun of wheeling is to see how far you can go without getting stuck. I have a full size 87 Bronco and my wife has a 91 Jeep Wrangler. We go out in one or the other, depending on the trail, but, many..many times we will go out with the kids and or freinds with both so we can pull each other out if need be. That is the difference between moderate and extreem wheeling, IMHO.

any 4x4 can get stuck with a poor driver. you guys are all rediculous. anything with IFS will break long before my 31 year old dodge but beyond that it doesn't matter. most of it is the driver.

a 4x4 iz only as good as u make it.... all really depends on the lift u got and tyres... if u got MT's.. u can get just about any where.. if u got AT's.. u have limmittations through mud

haha no 4x4 without a huge lift and tires would get through that. thats a steep little hill into a mud hole. the bumper even ran into the other side thats how steep it was. all it takes is the right amount of mud against rock to stop even the biggest 4x4s.

@J0llyR0ger that's true. Every vehicle has it's limitations and it's up to the driver to recognise this to prevent the vehicle from getting into a bad situation. Proper knowledge of the HMMWV is essential if you want the max performance out of it.

My humvee in iraq never got stuck and Ive had it in nasty places. BTW, the 2010 Land Rover Ranger Rover has a MSRP of $78,425. So yea. And the H2 hummer is not a true off roader. Its just a glorified Chevy Tahoe. So the fact IS(not IZ) Land Rover is not that good off road as everyone thinks.

I'm all about Ford but the 6.6L turbo diesel (Duramax) with the best transmission made in the world (Allison) can't be touched by anything Land Rover has to offer. I've never seen a Land Rover with a M60, M240, .50 BMG, mini-gun, tow-missile, 40mm grenade launcher, and the list can go on forever on a Land Rover. yeaa

the h1 is the best, it doesnt have any flex, but that can be good, instead of having the tires all on the ground, and your axel at weird angles, you dont risk that, you have 3 tires on the ground, it hangs in the air, and you driver over what you want, instead of on it, then you dont get stuck, and you save on wear, the h1 is the best, it also is very wide, and has a low center of gravity, allowing it to do way more then a shitty S10, and a jeep, the h1 is bomb

did they just drop that hummer "not humvee..." into a ditch nose first and expect it to go through it? hummers only offroading weak point is it's shear size. while an asset keeping it from flipping over on roughf terrain it makes getting them stuck in small places easy.

you mean A hummer hi is bigger and heavier so it doesn't get stuck as easy as other 4x4's my h1 in the mud pit's never gets stuck while wrangler's and rovers do because of their with and weight.

Most of these Hummer H1 owners don't even know that when you get stuck in mud or what else you supposed to accelerate slowly while steeping on the brake lightly to lock the diffs and it will get out of most situations.

most AWD systems on never vehicles use the breaks to control where the power goes and prevent slippage. manualy applying the breaks can have a simmiler effect as stopping the wheels from free spinning lets the vehicle regain power to the wheels that arn't free spinning. it is true that it doesn't truely lock the differentials. i thought the 4x4 lever did that. but it can offer a similer yet temperary lock

Actually the H3 doesnt have anything to do with the heavy brothers h1 and h2, and it is very capable.

The Land Rovers reliability suck especially the 99 + models are just junk they have tons of problems.

Try a Rubicon even the Xterra Fj Cruiser they are great off roading vehicles.
