When you change words in the Bible you take away from that verse is saying and changing the context of scripture. The issue is obedience to God's Law. Revelation 2:10 says: "...Prove yourself faithful even to death, and I will give you the crown of life." Same writer of Revelation wrote: "...he that does the will of God remains forever." (1 John 2:17) Jehovah is the giver of life. If we obey him, we will have eternal life. If we disobey, the prospect of eternal life is gone.
I know of someone who had blood transfusion and died of the disease she never had. It was the disease of the blood donor that killed her. My own daughter had major surgery and did not have blood transfusion. Now I have two beautiful grandchildren. Not having blood transfusion does not guarantee death just as having blood transfusion does not guarantee survival.

Jeremiah 23, 5-6 claimed that JEHOVAH TSIDKENU (The LORD Our Righteousness) would be born through the lineage of King David. In other words, GOD would become a man through Davids physical lineage. If I could give any less than 50 accounts where the scriptures hint or directly state that Jesus is GOD then you might be just in questioning this doctrine. This is a crucial doctrine according to Jesus "For if you do not believe that I AM HE (My Father) you shall die in your sins (John 8, 24).

When you change words in the Bible you take away from that verse is saying and changing the context of scripture. It commanded us to worship this one the Hebrew writer recognized as the son. However, if Jesus is not GOD we cannot worship him. That means the ONE AND ONLY Jehovah would become a man and live among us. Even as Ezekiel 34 (I think) states Jehovah, as being the Shepherd, who would seek out his lost sheep IN THE DAY WHEN HE IS AMONG HIS SHEEP. This verse about Jehovah was fulfilled in the person of Christ. This is all over the book bud look for it in any other translation.

I personally believe (because this happened in my life) that "grace" comes first then "faith" then "good works" and God always gets the glory. our love for Him motivates us to do "good works" BUT you can't depend on that alone. I know of someone who had blood transfusion and died of the disease she never had. It was the disease of the blood donor that killed her. My own daughter had major surgery and did not have blood transfusion. Now I have two beautiful grandchildren. Not having blood transfusion does not guarantee death just as having blood transfusion does not guarantee survival.

If good works were the way to be justified, we would boast of personal righteousness as did the Judaizers. However, Christ removed that tendency when He died on the cross (tree) to provide our justification. Now believers must boast about Christ who died to justify all those who believe in Him. Father, Son, Spirit in one. Seek Him with an open heart for understanding truth. Ask him to forgive you of your sin. Salvation is a gift just like grace is. You don't have to work for it. You need a personal relationship with God and in that will produce the fruits of the spirit. Without faith it is impossible to understand.

Read the scriptures for yourself Jesus said He was God Over and Over again.When Jesus uses the term I AM it reflects back to Moses before the burning Bush. I would understand that you are confused about the "Jesus prays to himself" thing. Like I said, the Bible lacks a lot of common sense throughout, so it wouldn't surprise me. But then, we would have to start speaking about the bible's contradictions. For instance, according to the bible, the bats are BIRDS, but we know that they are in fact flying MAMMALS. Also, according to the perfect word of Yahweh, PI equals 3, when we know that it is roughly 3.14159265. Just to name a couple...

It says beleive thou not that I am in the father and the father in me? the words that I speak unto you I SPEAK NOT OF MYSELF: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.....Jesus is saying that God is working through him. @QilinRider21 they also teach that only God knows who will survive the last days and that God knows our hearts more than we ourselves...they just try to steer folks into living their lives with the proper morals especially when it comes to God. They dont point fingers and say "you will or will not survive the last days because you dont assosiate with us". The bible clearly states that the righteous and the unrighteous will survive. But only God knows who these people are. No one else

God knows when our hearts are with him and he will guide us.
