There`s no best or worst in music or in art. You like or don´t.

About creativity, Ramones are excellent but recquired just two things: playing with fast and clean sound. For playing fast you need to play easier in order that the rhythm doesn`t fall. Ramones is excellent you just got to play clean and fast...Both drummers (Marky and Richie) did that perfectly.

Marky`s right hand blastbeats are perfectly done, he has a very fast finger technique. Also sometimes he used traditional grip.

Saw him play at the Joey Ramone B-day Bash in 2006. Gotta say he's one hell of a drummer and I think the Ramones should have entitled him to his share of merchandise sales.

I dont care how much people slam "Animal Boy" and "Halfway to Sanity", they are two great albums, along with, of course, "Too Tought To Die"

I wish they had treated him better, and i wish there had been an official release of him playing, so i dont have to try and find bootlegs of him.

@deadkennedy22 : After 24 years, Animal Boy is a bit of a let down. Its saving grace are the tracks Richie wrote. But I saw that line up live and they blew everyone else off the stage..

I agree, I always thought he was the best drummer. I dont know why the rest of the band didnt give him any recognition. They dont mention him any of the books, they totally ignored him when they got inducted into the rock hall of fame. They treated him like shit. They wouldnt even pay him fairly thats why he left the band.
