Aztec Indians ARE Native Americans since the idea of native american applies to the entire continent of America(North and South). Secondly, the movie has nothing to do with the Aztecs, it has everything to do with the Mayas, who still are native americans. Aztec Indians are not Mexicans anyway but lived/live in the area called Mexico

Lastly, again Tijuana is no where related or even close to the Maya, but it would make sense if you were talking about Aztecs, which still has no play in the movie. I had to write all this, historical inaccuracies are a pet peeve :P
