    i love this game but the tarrain isnt big in stalker.

  • @harrikelm All I can say is the landmass in STALKER is three times as big as 99% of all the games out there - and really large landmass MMO's tend to not have enough content so just fill them with enemies, making it a grind. If this MMO was made it would no longer be STALKER.

  • Most realistic, with mutated animals and artifacts that gives you magic abilites, yeah, sure. :D

    I think America's Army takes that title. Or something like Operation Flashpoint.

    I can't wait for this game. It looks incredible! (Just not on this low-res video)

  • Yeah i know what you mean but its realistic in a way like wind and where the bullet will land. Its kinda hard to play it if its your first time but it gets easier soon enough. Can't wait for this game either :P.

  • The bullets tend to scatter to0 randomly with most rifles and pistols. The 9x39 rifles have a noticeable bullet drop, but it's a consistent bullet drop, making you more able to predict where to aim. The Dragunovs, naturally, have the most consistent accuracy (aside from the gauss gun).

  • Can you disprove Mutants and Artifacts?

    Back in history people believed that moving with more than 30km/h is deadly...

    Man, this is an survivalshooter with a great scenario.

    It is no Shooting-simulator like arma or operation flashpoint.

    People have to get it, all the time "Its a game" when they talk aout "how unrealistic blabla"

  • Except for the unnecessary weapon cocking and mirror-image weapon models. The environs are amazing, though. The weapon models are very well detailed. The only problems are inconsistencies with technical realism. For example, why does the Viper 5 (HK54/MP5 hybrid) have a reciprocating charging handle?

  • It was their first egoshooter, they never did one before.

    But now they learned some things, if you look at newer videos, the weapon movement, animations and all seem to be better

  • The Viper 5's charging handle still reciprocates in 'Clear Sky'. GSC was working on a Quake-like game back in the late '90s which never got developed and became vaporware. What was it called? I forget. One of the weapons resembled the OC-14 Groza.

  • Wrong, they did cossacks, then stalker oblivion lost, first an alienshooter, than an more stalkerish shooter, than SoC.

    And we all love how you have played the Gold-release of clear sky to tell us how bad the viper 5 is.

    And we all know that doing 1 mistake means they did everything at weapons wrong...

  • Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!! Don't misjudge my intentions. I've made it clear in the past that I don't want to seem like a harsh critic. I appreciate GSC's talents, I just want to point out some details. And I don't have to play Clear Sky, just watch some gameplay vids right here on YouTube. They did improve the lo0k of the Viper 5 animation, but the charging handle still reciprocates. HKs built on that action type have NON-reciprocal charging handles. Lo0k it up if you don't believe me.

  • The e3 alpha has SoC animations, sounds etc.

    Newer videos have new ones.

    Why they shouldnt make also even newer ones?

  • That'd be great. I'd be truly proud of GSC if they changed the Viper's charging handle to function correctly. I would squee with glee if they changed all the weapon models to NOT be mirror-images and reskinned them so all the Cyrillic characters wouldn't be reversed.

  • The shellejector will be on the wrong side.

    nearly All games have them on the wrong side because of the look.

  • Why can't they just make your character left-handed? Or better yet, ambidextrous like Sam Fisher and able to switch hands (except with bullpups unless it's ambi like an FN).

  • Why they dont let you pick up every kind of little things?

    They cant do everything, whats in there is enough.

    They should add new sounds to the new animations, escept for the val/vss/groza i hated all the sounds
