  • HI, jazzmunki! i enjoy your sound. much.Look, i write to you to request you an advice for me (sorry my english, not so good), i want to learn to play bass, i have plans of buy a bass , but i know just nothing about really test about.. i see your is 5 cords *is this english word, dont know* ... i ve seen 4 and 5 cords.., fretless and with. I would like play bossa, + funk, & jazz lines, my motivatns are. What kind of instrument could you recomend me to buy, and, what is tese sound like psycodelhic

  • Very nice !

  • I lovesyour fret less, and your playing. I play more progressive rock myself. Have you ever tried D'Addario flat wounds? I love them, the tone is fantastic.

  • I'm using a little bit of reverb and a small amount of chorus more for a kind of stereo effect, the sound is good on headphones!

  • what effect is that your using?

  • What kind of strings do you use ? Roundwound ?

    Great job.

  • @Fabinosto yep roundwounds - D'Addario EXLs

  • is that ireal b backing tracks i hear?

  • man youve got some of the nicest basses im so jealous

  • no offense to your tone, but i would like to request less effects, i know theres not much, but the clean tone of a fretless is just so much more beautiful in my ears

  • @XxDisciple666xX no worries I kind of agree - sorry for the chorus on this - I just posted a new vid with just a small amount of reverb on this bass and it sounds really nice - check out my channel's homepage

  • i know i might sound retarded, but im not that much into fretless basses, but this song rocks :D but my question was, is that the normal tone of a fretless bass? or is there any effect on it? Dont blame me for not knowing! xD

  • @Raezioo 90% is its tone. 10% maybe is a small chorus (and a compressor, of course)

  • @Domenix71 Ok thanks ;D

  • One, if not, THE best solo I've heard you play. Nice ideas, beautifully linked. Good on ya, Mike.

  • Great playing Mike, and WHAT tone! :)

  • first chair!
