ok, seems that u followed CoOLik's tip, too ^^ ...bad idea XD

  • This piece scares the crap out of me.

  • Στοιχειωτικό...

  • Βιονικός άνθρωπος...

  • this is proto Dark Ambient and proto Noise. this composer is genial

  • @TheFate23 no, shut up, its nothing like ambient and noise, please go and have brain farts somewhere else, or learn about xenakis' works before trying to some stupid new age music.

  • @NevinJarek in fact i said "proto". :-)

  • @TheFate23 mmm, i think i was drunk when i wrote that... anyways, I meant that theres almost no similaritues between this and ambient music. Its like comparing Kontakte to techno music, Berio to Xenakis or a guzheng to a harp, just because superficially your brain will try to assimilate it to the most similar thing youve heard before. Sibelius, Cage and raw recordings have to do more with proto ambient than Xenakis. And it isnt horror film music either, Mozart has more to do with that.

  • This is a work of genius.....I wish I knew of this artist earlier....However I am now discovering a whole new world of sound. Unbelievable ambience...

  • this is dreamy ans scary fantastic

  • iCame... xD

  • so this is proto dark ambient

  • @earthless1990

he has lost his one eye and is though deformed...

  • it's very surpriseing... sounds like korean percussion music if you move further down ...

  • Spooky.

  • The atmosphere... wonderful.

  • Xenakis was a great master of twenty century.

  • @isaacdelaconcha, Xenakis ratcheted up the level of ugliness in music to heights matched only by the most rigid adherents to atonality: Stockhausen, Saariaho, and other sadistic creeps.

  • Jesus christ! Maybe I'm a wimp but this freaks me out!! Shit! Fekn genius but fuck. He uses a technique called granular synthesis. I have to do sumat similar for uni.

  • scary ugly deppresive... click me thumbs down, i dont matter :)

  • Everyone's entitled to their opinion, thumgs up! I find this to be outstanding

  • @JCmooka nah i wish you metastasis in your dick!

  • this made me weep, so humbling, i've been making music for a few years now and have only recently learnt of Iannis' work. a master in his own right. thank you for the upload.

  • Very fine! Thanks!

  • So is this the 1960 or the 1968 version?

  • @MyPlanett Every genius has his bad points :-)

  • FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh my god that picture is even scarier!

Together they make erm.. a perfect combination..

  • Resident Evil 6

  • Haha; that's exactly what I thought of. More like Silent Hill to me though.

  • I imagined a mysterious dark evil man wandering through the sewers.

Next he walked the land towards the house. Then he knocked on the door.

Then from a point of view inside the house he creeps towards the room.

Then you see the girl in the room's point of view.. she looks out the open window and sees no one.

She shuts her eyes and the guy comes out from behind the drapes of that window. It ends with him walking toward her bed.

Shut your eyes in a pitch black room and listen. Imagine..

  • I like this, But i have no idea what "stochastic processes are..I wish i knew the picture that he's

    painting?

  • stochastic processes have to do with probability. Its a certain type of chance, or uncertainty inherent within something. Wikipedia has information about it, might be a good starting point.
