there isnt a video, i dont think you will ever see one do so. but it was a fact that in japan akitas were used to help hunt down bears. i was told it was in book, i saw it on animal planet once. they do live up to their name.

Actually, the Akita would still win.

These dogs are playing, but with any Akita fight you find on the internet, even when they are playing the Akita is the dominant one. They are skilled fighters by nature, when the Akita makes a kill it will go for the neck, one good bite. Now if you watch them when they are play fighting, ( Not only this video. ) the Akita always has access to the neck, Not always, but it's typical of them to do this even when they are play fighting.

remember a pitbull weighs about 25kg. a male akita weighs 55kg

the best fighting dog is perhaps the japanese Tosa. they can weigh up to 91kg and have very good agility and a powerfull bite. but they are very expensive

You do some research before you start making stupid comments, Pitbulls have a lock jaw, this is the most dangerous this about them, you will have alot of trouble getting this dog off of you.

A pitbull doesn't have a attack style, unlike many other dogs, they are unintelligent, but loyal, they listen well. Akita have attack styles in there nature, there smart tactical fighters, They will always have access to the other dogs neck, and that's all they need, one good bite, it's done.

@carl206rc well i kinda dont like pits, my mom owns one, it doesnt listen, it constantly tries to fight with our older dog, and it jumps up and bites my arm and scratches me, it has no manners, it makes me hate him, he doesnt listen, he is a year old. my puppy right now is 6 weeks almost 7 and he already sits, shakes and stays. my moms pitbull sucks, it just doesnt listen, it still craps in the house, chews furniture, and it likes to jump up on counters, idk. maybe they are a bad breed, ....

he likes to bite my moms oldest dogs throat and it makes them both fight, its like he enjoys fighting with other dogs, and never in his life has he ever been agressive towards dogs, i think it is in there blood and not how the owner trains them >_<
