Lyme victims seems to be screwed at least in the USA. It was probably released by Plum Island, it originated in CT right across the channel from it. i got bitten by a tick last year and developed a red rash with white ring surrounding it 4 days later at the bite mark, also similar rashes up my back. i didnt know what it was so ignored it until i saw a picture of the lymes disease rash. went to doctor and he sent away for a blood test which came back negative so no further action was taken. yet their test is not 100% accurate....does anyone know of anything else that can cause erythra migrans?
@freedomchaser2402 PLEASE .. go to the website turnthecornerfoundationDOTorg and click on "Find a Lyme Literate Doctor in Your Area" TODAY. They will send you the name of a doctor who KNOWS how to treat your Lyme. The SOONER you start treating, the BETTER! Chronic Lyme turns into what is diagnosed as Alzheimers, MS, Lou Gherig's Disease when LONG TERM IV antibiotics are the cure! My Mom was undiagnosed for 15 years she is in an AZ unit now! Good luck and God Bless!
@MzProgressive Plz know; the patient must also do their homework on some of the docs in that website. Many only take cash and they abuse this. I personally found one in Fairfax VA (from turn the corner) who wanted to charge 50 bucks for a 4-6 minute phone consultation to tell me something was found in my blood. So, I never returned. They were already charging me 400-600 per visit.
Researchers have found this bacteria in every human organ, tissue, and in all bodily fluids of those that had Lyme disease. My Lyme doctor told me to say this cannot be sexually transmitted is like saying water can go through a strainer but tea cannot. This bacteria is also in the same family as the bacteria that causes Syphilis. Both diseases involve spirochete form bacteria. Last time I checked, Syphilis can be sexually transmitted.
@rowansart Interesting, if it is not sexually transmitted then why does my spouse has the exact same infections (at a lower level) as I do, Lyme, Ehrliciosis and Babesia. Bit by the same tick? Even after 2 years of antibotics, I still have the disease, but it is at a lower level. And I feel way better.
I got lucky okay here is the story I got bit by a tick and only bent there for couple of minutes but guys if you got bit bye a tick it has to bit for 24 hours so guys if you been bit bye a tick 24 hours tack to get Lyme disease so don't worry unless you've bent bit for 24 hours
i remember all the simptons i was in the last part of lyme the hardest there 3 faces i was in the last one and it paralyzes body parts its not fun when u realise ure leg is paralysed. loads of ppl say u need to get an red circel if its was an tik etc. to be infected with lyme but its only 45% ul get an red cirkel dont let the doctors fool you and directly do an blood test! correct med is DOXYCYCLINE HYCLATE taken for 1 month.then again 3-6 months later when isolated pain starts back up.then again 2to3 MORE TIMES every 3-6 months after end of last treatment.expect hands to have burning sensation towards end of each treatment.DETOX afterwards EACH TIME with dandalion root & or milk thistle available at your local health food store.i do not recommend chain store products.
THIS VIDEO IS WRONG! On the CDC's OWN WEBSITE it clearly states that sexual or other person-to-person contact is NOT a mode of transmission for Lyme Disease
@guessqtie You are a fool if you believe what the CDC says, in fact, these have all been PROVEN in multiple case studies, I have sourceful documentation. Do not be fooled! Until you have the disease or someone close to you diagnosed, you won't begin to understand the horrors that the CDC, FDA, and WHO have visited on us. Some people believe it's pathogenesis can even be considered in oral or salivary or bodily excretions other than sexual. Trust me, this is all a part of a big plan.
@guessqtie The CDC, THEMSELVES, say that a person who's PREVIOUSLY had Lyme CANNOT, I repeat, CANNOT DONATE BLOOD FOR AT LEAST ONE WHOLE YEAR AFTER HIS/HER LAST NEGATIVE LYME TEST RESULT... @igspal The bottom line is that there is no clinical evidence that sexual contact will spread the disease (you still didn't reveal your source(s)...), and there is also no specific proof that it does not. There may be clinicla evidence that is being withheld, the way correct treatment information is suppressed. Since Lyme is so similar to syphilis, I would bet it is sexually transmitted. Just my humble opinion. Both my exs have it. Coincidence?
@babyboom58 T. pallidum spirochetes grow in moist scabs on superficial ulcers (chancres), and are thus transmitted by sexual contact through genital or oral mucosal abrasions. @babyboom58 It's funny how people are tweaking over this. No microbiology textbook states that Lyme is spread sexually (that I've read). The video presents sexual transmission as common knowledge i.e. fact, which is impossible if the topic is currently being debated. If there is a medical study that backs your claim let me know! If the CDC is corrupt and is “hiding” all of the clinical evidence supporting Lyme as an STD - what about European or Asian studies??
@guessqtie All REAL research on Lyme ended when the U.S. approved "Patents on Life" - since then, information is jealously retained and NOT SHARED for purposes of public health! Result: CT, MA and NY have passed legislation barring prosecution of doctors who treat Lyme w/IV antibiotics
@babyboom58 no it takes evidence...leptospira is also a spirochete and is not known to be sexually transmitted like treponema pallidum. The syph is HIGHLY contagious. You can contract it through a hand shake.
@babyboom58 oh yeah i forgot, the reason syph is sexually transmitted is because it grows in the condylomata lata wart like lesions around the genitals. Any pathogen that can survive in the mucous membrane usually has an IgA protease virulence factor. I pray to God that it's not sexually transmitted...thing is that i had sex while on my period....fuuuck
@guessqtie Sorry, but it is the CDC that is WRONG. Please see the movie "Under Our Skin" available at hulu dot com, the last 1/2 hour addresses the financial/political reasons why the CDC and AMA have BURIED THEIR HEADS because INSURANCE COMPANIES do NOT want to Pay for Effective TREATMENT!
This is (almost) an EXCELLENT video...the ONLY problem with it, is that it ONLY mentions the TICK as an insect that carries the Lyme bacteria (& its co-infections), but fails to state that these bacteria can be transmitted from ANY BITING INSECT (incl., but not limited to the MOSQUITO)!
hi, my mother in law got lime disease when it first started, so it took years before they diagnose her for years later. it effected her nervous system, now she has parkens disease from having it for so long. is there any treatment to reverse this
@021sharky Please go to turnthecornerfoundation dotorg and request the name of a "Lyme Literate" doctor in her area. Even long term symptoms can be alleviated with aggressive (IV antibiotic) treatment. Also see movie "Under Our Skin" available on huludotcom (movie/search)
Excellent video! I learnt that LDL cholesterol binds to Lipoproteins so helps reduce the toxin load. Fats decrease my burning pain with Lyme to ear nothing if I have no carbs : )
I found the diagrams at the end of the video, and the oversimplification of the immune response really confusing - maybe you should consider changing the narrative? But I liked your twisty Borrelia burgdorferi :-)
i live in kentucky.and i recently heard on the news about deer ticks giving lyme disease to people. i had no idea what that was but it freaked me out. me being 12 years old i was bitten by plenty of ticks by then, so i asked my parents what it was. they said 'it makes you sick' what a great answer.2 years later i finally get to look it up and this is what i find. hard to tell if i have it, but all i can do is hope
TO JOHNKANEJK: thats called a herx reaction and means the lyme is being addressed. The symptoms get worse. The other disease with spiroketes that reacts the same way is Syphilis. So its par for the course. Keep treating the lyme, but know that a herx reaction means its doing its work! It might take a while to get better, but hang in there. Wishing you all the best!
In reference to this video: This video was an advertisement under the guise of information-giving.
Woke up a week ago with horrible arthritic pain in my ankles. I have not had a rash, headaches, nor fatigue. Doctor told me I may have Lyme - and put me on doxy (2x/day x 21 days). For three days the arthritic pain became much worse and affected different joints on different days. Anyone have experience on Doxy? Does it get worse before better? What the risks of a longer-term/higher dose? I will keep all who suffer from this terrible disease in my prayers and thanks for any feedback.
Veternarians tell you that your cat,dog or horse will have this the rest of their life and they treat the animal with medications that help the animals have a better quality of life but PEOPLE are making this up and don't have it? Hahaha Get a live blood analysis, they can SHOW YOU the spiral bacteria swimming in your blood! Bring that to your doctor.
Dr. Zhang in NY.. please anyone who has lyme get his herbs.. they keep me functioning.. I have chronic lyme but feel good most of the time. 5 years and counting.
There is no scientific data that suggested that lyme is transmitted sexually. It would make sense that it could when comparing it to syphillys, but for syphillys to be transmitted you need to have contact with open sores.
Its fine if one believes that lyme is transmitted sexually but I need scientific data and evidance that is the case.
If couples get lyme disease im more inclined to believe its ticks that transmitt it not sex.
Thanks for the video. It encouraged me to go to the website and realize that you're marketing to all kinds of diseases. Upon further Google review (search: "envita") I found that you're overcharging EVERYONE and nothing you do works. So, in essence, I don't believe any of this crap.
@ecftube who is the doctor? I am looking for information about my dog he is a chihuahua and has lyme disease. He has been on amoxicillin for just over a day now. He got his first dose friday night and its now sunday afternoon and he is still limping and very tired. He was limping in his right back leg now he is limping in his left back leg and it seems to still very weak in his right back leg still. It is making me so nervous for the little guy. He only weighs almost 12lbs.
@dennis35791 is he ok? just wondering if he feels any better?my dog had lyme disease years ago it took the antibiotics almost the whole 10 tens before she showed any improvement ...hope the little guys ok
@jennluvsnkotb74 Yes thank you he doing so much better he stopped limping after being on the antibiotics for like 3 days. It took the litte guy about 3 days or so longer to start jumping on the beds etc.... and after about 5 to 7 days to get his normal eating habits back. I love that little dog so much ! He is my son !

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do internet research on using sea salt for curing Lyme. I had it for seven months before I was diagnosed, and doxycycline only made me sicker. I took a shot of about 1/2 teaspoon of raw sea salt in a small amount of water, and in only hours I felt better than I had in months! I continued this maybe three times a day for several days and it ended my Lyme. I take this "shot" every now and then just to be sure it stays gone. IT WORKS. DO RESEARCH. TELL THE PEOPLE!!
@iLoveSydBarrett lyme disease dont have cure, it have treatments but if you stop the treatment it will come again perhaps dont rigth away, it could come 3 or 4 months later, treatment what just do is to control.
@iLoveSydBarrett Hey what do you mean by a shot?? like a needle or drink?? please reply and tell me yer story. i just found out a friend of mine has this disease.
this explains nothing! andvanced imunual therapy? comon! tell us something useful like ie, should i inject the interferon (which is common use with many neuro-diseases), which interferon and so on, use antibioics for more than a year? this seems like a commercial, showing missleading grafs and so on, alltough the begining started good, why i am so annoyed by this is that ive been taking antib. for 4 months, the last MRI scan showed no MS activity. This is missleading for people who dont know.
If anyone had had really knotty/hard/painfull muscles from lyme, mesage and let me know what helped/your treatment. Got diagnosed 5 months ago. HELP. ....im on ammox, zith, mepron, artemisinin. Want to start IV rocephin
pardon my french but depending on were you live the doctors won't give a rats a** about Lyme, they'll say it's in your head, your crazy or say it's something else, I've had it for 3 years and I already have enough story for an auto-biography
My family all has this. Unfoetunaltely it is from me. My daughter nad my husband all have it from me. This is really hard to grasp but the guilt is sometimes too much to bear, Even though I know I didn't mean for this to happen , we now have to all ban together to fight this ugly disease.
I know in my heart that it is not my fault but it still hurts . I just thank God for catching it earlier in them then it was caught in me. I can only hope that they do not have to go through all I have. They see it everyday so they count their blessings. Thank you for reminding me that it isn't my fult. Sometimes I forget it.
@stillfighting1 I'm in the same situation as you. I gave Lyme disease to my wife and she passed it to my two children. I feel the guilt and it drives me crazy. I've had Lyme since the mid 1970's and was only diagnosed in 2007. Too late for any hope of a cure, but hopefully not too late for my family.
GREAT depiction of the physical bacteria. There are loads of info about proper treatment and what it does to people in UNDER OUR SKIN. BUT they don't cover the physiology of the bacteria which is necessary for people to understand how dangerous and invasive this crappy disease really is. This video needs to be added to the documentary.
I think this video has some good info....but my Lyme specialist treats with antibiotics and he has a well thought out plan of attack. I believe he is light years ahead of many Lyme- literate doctors. Also, he is one of the few Lyme doctors that is an infectious disease specialist as well.
I think this is a pretty good summary of Lyme Disease, much better than the official ones. I felt a bit lost at the end. There was no mention of the benefite of long-term treatment for embedded infections.
Not everybody gets better, some even get worst with treatment. And most bio-molecular physiologists don't even think it can really be totally cured without leaving behind dormant spirochetes that can someday reinfect you. But advertising that fact to sick people gives them no hope. But I did get better for now. Thank you Ginger.
Undiagnosed, advanced Lyme, body accepts ospA abntibodies initially as its own, then rejects, auto immunity, non specific, Ana elevated, ESR, CPK's, a variation in the complements as the immune system is not functioning appriopiately as seen in th e C3 complement. Heart blocks, advanced CNS involvement, severe brain fog, cognitve; poor Ginger great you are feeling better. I try to give hope and ecouragement. Chronic ill, effects entire family
You need to find the right doctor. I have seen bedridden indivuduals finish college degrees. They still have some"bad" days, but are functional, happy. I plan on doing a documentary on my "miracle kids"
Hey guys....PLEASE register at the Oprah Winfrey website and let her know how much you would like to see her do a show on Lyme disease. Dr. Oz thinks the "UNDER OUR SKIN" documentary is wonderful but a show about Lyme won't be done unless she sees lots of interest. Request that LLMDS and patients be the guests so that we can be heard. Also, Daryl Hall would make a great guest. OPRAH needs to hear about YOUR experience with Lyme disease. WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER !
I think the media shows are staying away from Lyme. We have been trying for years. For some reason no interest, no one sees its prevelance, and misdiagnosis
Google....."Low Dose Naltrexone Homepage." And also here on You tube..."Controlling Lyme Disease," and see the LDN videos by "TropicalDawg" here as well. I have been using LDN, for just over a week now, and feel the need to pass the buzz. This is a drug that helps with the immune system, inflammation and endorphins. Eat as if you had a yeast problem, because Lyme loves what yeast loves. And no sugars of any kind..."Including Fruit!"

This is (almost) an EXCELLENT video...the ONLY problem with it, is that it ONLY mentions the TICK as an insect that carries the Lyme bacteria (& its co-infections), but fails to state that these bacteria can be transmitted from ANY BITING INSECT (incl., but not limited to the MOSQUITO)!

hi, my mother in law got lime disease when it first started, so it took years before they diagnose her for years later. it effected her nervous system, now she has parkens disease from having it for so long. is there any treatment to reverse this
021sharky 1 year ago

TELL THE PEOPLE!!

this explains nothing! andvanced imunual therapy? comon! tell us something useful like ie, should i inject the interferon (which is common use with many neuro-diseases), which interferon and so on, use antibioics for more than a year? this seems like a commercial, showing missleading grafs and so on, alltough the begining started good, why i am so annoyed by this is that ive been taking antib. for 4 months, the last MRI scan showed no MS activity. This is missleading for people who dont know.

My family all has this. Unfoetunaltely it is from me. My daughter nad my husband all have it from me. This is really hard to grasp but the guilt is sometimes too much to bear, Even though I know I didn't mean for this to happen , we now have to all ban together to fight this ugly disease.
stillfighting1 2 years ago
If you did not do it knowingly, or can be blamed for not knowing, how can there be guilt?
MrFacet 2 years ago
I know in my heart that it is not my fault but it still hurts . I just thank God for catching it earlier in them then it was caught in me. I can only hope that they do not have to go through all I have. They see it everyday so they count their blessings. Thank you for reminding me that it isn't my fult. Sometimes I forget it.
stillfighting1 2 years ago

This video needs to be added to the documentary.
suzlwilliams 2 years ago
Absolutely correct, except the general population would not understand.
The doctors, insurance companues, they need more education.

I think this video has some good info....but my Lyme specialist treats with antibiotics and he has a well thought out plan of attack. I believe he is light years ahead of many Lyme- literate doctors. Also, he is one of the few Lyme doctors that is an infectious disease specialist as well.

advertising although some knowledge to be gained.
too many scams
Lyme is real persistent/chronic
People do get better
we dont advertise, we help those who cant affored.
No scams
You can get better
LymeReality 2 years ago
Not everybody gets better, some even get worst with treatment. And most bio-molecular physiologists don't even think it can really be totally cured without leaving behind dormant spirochetes that can someday reinfect you. But advertising that fact to sick people gives them no hope. But I did get better for now. Thank you Ginger.
suzlwilliams 2 years ago 2

God Bless,

Google....."Low Dose Naltrexone Homepage." And also here on You tube..."Controlling Lyme Disease," and see the LDN videos by "TropicalDawg" here as well. I have been using LDN, for just over a week now, and feel the need to pass the buzz. This is a drug that helps with the immune system, inflammation and endorphins. Eat as if you had a yeast problem, because Lyme loves what yeast loves. And no sugars of any kind..."Including Fruit!"
