Ever tried self-grow ? Neither had i - im in the process of sharing an allotment and intend growing fruit / veg , only on a small scale but with the intention to barter/trade for other goods hopefully . What if staying home and refusing to participate puts the elite into a corner and forces them to act rash/violent? If you're willing to sacrifice a lot, you can actually succeed in uniting the globe. All it takes is reduce natural defiance to authority to a less harmful fields than anti-government. Make culture unitarian. Suggest people that if they don't unite they will lose their wealth. Scare them with the vision of terrorism to tighten the control over any defiant behaviors. Yes, quiet defiance; no 1 carries banners, no slogans, no shouting or yelling. 100,000 people calmly lie down on tarmacs, railway lines, in streets, farmers don't deliver their produce, nobody shows up for work, no shopping, etc. We may lose a few dollars a day but the bankers & corporations would lose tens of billions each day. Peoples hates, jealousies & differences of opinion would be forgotten & we'd finally unite against injustice & tyranny. The power of inertia w/o violence is the key.

The strike is against consumerism, if everyone stoped wasting money on things we dont need and wasting food, fuel etc, the corporations creating these wars and systems of control would collapse. I dont wana step on toes here, but saying wake up all the time is half hearted, thats the foot in the door without prying it open. Wakin up is 1 thing, you need to get outta bed. But thats not enough, people need a plan to follow, a date, time and place. Completely peaceful and constitutional, but powerful protest. I dont live in the US but i'll be happy to help.

I believe the NWO are very worried about a civil armed uprising by a down-trodden population which is exactly why they are trying desperately to disarm the general population. They achieved it in Australia only a few years ago by making a patsy of an intellectually challenged young man by the name of Martin Bryant. Now 80% of all fire arms have now been handed in by law abiding citizens.
ps. Our crime rate has soared ever since. The only guns not handed in are in the possession of criminals

What if staying home and refusing to participate puts the elite into a corner and forces them to act rash/violent? The backlash could be that trade routes are cut off (since they are already controlled by the elite). I live in Toronto Canada and if there were NO trucks coming into our city with daily food needs we would only last 3 days. Unfortunately the system is so integrated that we all depend on each other (elites & regular joes). Many in need depend on the system for sustenance.whatcanido?

Its amazing how much change doesn't happen not because elites(or just lowly bureaucrats) can't do it, or even because their interests militate against it but because they *won't* do it, because how they're asked offends their egos! What can you do? Check out Marshall Rosenberg's communication theory. Its surprisingly effective.

How are they asked that offends their egos? I think change only happens when they (elites) can profit from it. It's happening with these so called "Green Revolutions" and "Make Poverty History," which are all good in intention, but do not address the real issues. IMF and World Bank are the ones we need to change...the ones who control the financial world, but it's so impossible. Grassroots initiatives will ultimately be the solution in the end...
