I can only speculate on this but I assume it is because CSX didn't want the camera crews on the property but still wanted to have their name out there and attached to the show. The only time they filmed on CSX property (that I know of) was in the "Circus Train" episode and they never got in the cab for that one; the facility you speak of is a NS (ex. CR, nee. PRR?) facility.
Q089. FWIW: Why did you plug the Extreme Trains show coverage of this train like you did above - their coverage in an hour long show took 52 minutes to get from the west coast to Chicago then less than 2 minutes to get from CHI to SDY. The show was a disgrace to all the hardworking hoggers on CSX.
It's not a plug for the show so much as it is a plug for the train and an attempt to get more hits on the video. It was disappointing they never covered the train on CSX, especially since CSX is sponsoring the show. Perhaps they didn't want camera crews in the cab or something, I don't know. Anyway, I figured since I referenced the show I should provide a link to it.
Was the Guy who does the Extreme Trains was on that train?

Yes, once on CSX this runs with a CSX crew and has a CSX train number.
