  • I just pictured a big black guy in a bunny suit come and hug you o_o

  • He's got a good point, ON EVERYTHING!!! ESPECIALLY the ID thing.

  • You are entirely right about all this. No joke.

  • Nice video Dan, I totally agree with you.

  • what the crap this is stupid

  • I went to school i the philippines for a while and ALL students, including college students wear ID badges. It's been like that for a while, even before my mom went to school. I always thought that students wore it so they could identify a student in case of an emergency..like if they are injured and they need to know who the person actually is and who to contact(our ID's had phone numbers), but u have a very good point

  • Back when my grandparents and even my parents were young, if you fell off a 2000 foot cliff in a park it was your fault and everyone thought that you should have been more careful. Now if you fell off a 20 foot cliff in a park it's the parks fault for not putting a fence up and someone would sue the park. I wish that it could go back to when you were liable for your own actions and not have people suing companies for not saying that holding a lit firecracker in your hand is a bad idea.

  • this is so calm and slow compared to his current videos

  • Chicago has had ids for the longest... my parents had ids on high school but when I was in high school last year and the 4 years I was in high school I wore an id with a lanyard. and the reason is because all of the cphs usually wore the same uniforms ( white collard shirt and either black or blue pants for safety issues) and they didn't want someone from a different school walking around the hallways. and they had a lot of reasons why they did it and its easier to see what lunch a student had.

  • my school does this =(.

    Its completely ridiculous.

And doesn't really help anyone, and just does more harm to people then good.

  • i'm mad because the government is wasting billions of dollars on space travel than on the neady, homeless, and many more like what the fuck are we going to get out of that

  • Dan Brown: welcome to government and politics of any kind. the people who are in it and run it make stupid illogical decisions. I've heard a theory that 9/11 was planned by Bush and the leading terrorist so that the government can take away our entire freedom. Bill of Rights = gone to crap/means nothing. and yet, we were so freaking excited to get the Bill of Rights. Government = does illogical crap to get what they want. what they want = ultimate power and MONEY. CORRUPTION AND FREAKING GREED.

  • Actually the "new world order' in theory is nothing but a huge business plan.

  • Once again Dan, I completely agrree with you!!!!!!!! Why IS LPS wasting money on stupid stuff? My school, Magnolia, is having SOME good history with money. Children in need of it, get the free lunch program, BUT I've been to that school for three years and NO LOCKERS! I just wanna knpow whats up. But at least we DO have the lunch program.

  • I know this video is old... but I really hope your school saw this.

*grumble* can't go on school field trips and the football team is handing out laminated tickets instead of paper ones? wat?

  • ID badges, just like on sci-fi conventions

  • u r right there are way moore children dying from hunger

  • I love you daniel brown! <3

  • They pulled this crap at my school a few years ago and i moved to a school that did thie ID thing and i never understood why they think its such a good idea.

  • You tell 'em, Dan! Haha.

I agree it is stupid, but school's stupid most of the time anyways. :|

  • Schools are stupid sometimes.....in my school, we buy our snack with something that looks like monopoly money. We buy a small pad of "fake dollars" so we can be safe. How is buying fake money going to keep us safer, don't we have to pay with real money for the fake money anyway?

  • dan, you do know that ur own government knocked down the twin towers right? not terrorists..

  • Did you know that your theory is very unlikly and also dan doesnt read youtube comments

  • i wasn't on your side but once you said about tax payers money, it got to me

  • my school says that they're going to do the same thing but they never do..... I know my school is a lazy bumm.

  • invest the money for tasers

  • I've had to wear an I.D. badge since I was in sixth grade.

  • Better late than never!

Your right. Why do school have this nasty little habit of wasting money? Like my school is (or was) as old as dirt and really small. Like it only took you 10 minutes to walk from one end of the school to the other. And what do they do? THEY BUY GOLF CARTS!!! WTH is up with that, right.

And you have every right to be pissed too! How is wearing an ID badge gonna do anything? Unless you go to school in the Pentagon, NOTHING!!!

I really liked this vid! AWESOME!

  • icewhipRox:

Unless you go to a university, taking 10 minutes isn't a small school... It takes about 5 minutes to walk from end-to-end of my school, and my school is considered very large.

Anyways, I agree, that golf cart thing is absurd hahah. Maybe the staff are just lazy bums:)

  • Dan, you're a lot more goofer(?) than you were back then. Just wanted to point that out....

  • i know this post is old, but I definitely know what it's like to feel as though the adults running a large part of your life (ie. school) are morons. Our school decided to use bond money to build a performing arts auditorium when there weren't enough desks for all the students in some classes and when many classes needed new, or at least better, books. Quite frankly, a school should EDUCATE students! how can they do that without essential things like desks and books?!? RIDICULOUS!

  • At my old high school we had metal detectors at all the main doors. Then when we entered the class rooms we had to show our IDs. It's completely pointless.

  • Schools here in Scotland re-thought their security strategies since the Dunblane school massacre in 1996. It's much harder to just walk into a school & if you're a visitor, you have to have booked an appointment a week in advance & have to have a member of the school office to buzz you into the school.

  • my school just started doing that like 2 weeks ago. o;

+ if you don't wear it, you get suspended

    Its completely rediculous.

  • Wow, I think this is the most interesting dan browns video.

I think you're totally right, but however, if society knew they could enter in any place without permission, they'd take advantage of it and that would affect us. So they have to do it, they should keep on doing it even when it doesn't make sense. The problem is that's the highest thing they'll do, so nothing really is gonna change here, keep on wearing those stupid badges until you get graduated Dan.

  • I know that you are now a college dude, but yeah, I totally agree on the stupidity. I could go through lists of examples, but that sums it up.

  • Dan Brown?

Like the writer of Davinci Code? =))

  • No... =//

  • 2 words, arphid scanner..

  • dan dude tottaly agree in england its getting that way even in infant skl i mean is a 5 year old gonna bring a gun to skl

  • 1) ID Badges don't stop Bullets and

    2) ID Badges can be easily copied

  • i was lucky my school never gave us an idea card cept once and i think it was just caz we got a new laser printer or something and then they just laminated it i dont no it was created by the school and i just burnt mine it was fun to watch the fire kill it after that year they never made any more

  • wtf that is so messed up i think that is the stupidest thing ever if anything i would say it makes it more dangerious if u have some1 who knows your name and wants to kill u then they can find u easilyer (just a thought not like any1 wants to kill u but i dont no maybe u did something stupid and threw a bomb in some1s mailbox now they want to kill u)

  • we have to do the same thing but rely we get cecked maby once a mouth and if we dont have it they dont even care

  • that is so ridiculous and idiotic... great vid

  • At my school, I have to walk through 5 gyms to get to the locker room, get changed, and make it through 5 gyms again, in 4 minutes.

Because a boy decided to walk into the girl's locker room, and now they locked ALL of the hallway doors, and only have the door connecting to the gym unlocked.

But the boys can get in their hallway doors fine.

    It's ridiculous.

  • wtf that is so messed up has any1 decided to bitch about it and take stands and say that they refuse to change or anything like that

  • Omg I wish!!

  • your right my sis died becouse she camtided cuacide thay shoud pay for calsoling more than ids.

  • Why is it that the people know more and think more clearly than, say, the government, or, in your case, schools?

  • well the government is supposed to fund for school so its like the schools should think more about how they r going to use what little money they get but i think the government should give the schools more money

  • "anyone who'll give up a little liberty, to gain a little liberty is no longer in a democracy, but a dictatorship. unless ofcourse the people vote for it lol"

  • well at my school we had $2000 spare to spend on something for the students and then on the decision day of what we would spend the money on some teenagers broke some windows and put paint all over the school so the money went down the drain.

  • ID badges were introduced to my school during my junior year (two years ago). Now they have school uniforms. so glad I graduated in time.

Spending money on lanyards and IDs when the money could be spent on supplies that are actually needed (art supplies, tissues, paper, markers, books, etc.) makes more sense. One of the my teachers' most common complaints was not having enough of these supplies; and having to buy their own.

  • i totally agree, school systenms are downright RETARTED they spend money on VERY unneeded stuff fuck shit balls

  • YO im sorry my gay friend added the last part, im sorry

  • Lay off on the metal detectors and ultra-high security people. That if anything will only bring an unnecessary tension into schools, and may even be the cause of incidents of violence, drugs, accidents, etc... and give the students a chance to come to you if they feel they need help. Don't impose counseling on them, let them come on their own terms. But if there is someone that truly seems to need help, then suggest counseling and maybe even arrange a meeting with the counselor.

  • Counseling is very much needed. Everyone remembers the Virginia Tech incident. A similar incident happened in my home country (Finland) just last year (Jokela Highschool Shooting o7/11/2oo7). This kind of stuff could've been avoided if schools focus less on possible future problems with 'terrorist attacks' and focus more on the welfare of their students. I'm not saying 'drop all security and put everyone in therapy'... by all means no. Balance on the other hand would be nice. continued --->

  • I never did understand the American obsession with school security. I mean, I've heard a lot about metal-detectors, ID bages and locker raiding (the last might be exaggeration)... how come schools in other countries seem to manage just fine without them? Terrorists are not the issue; I completely agree with your view that the government should focus more on student counseling than preventing possible terrorist attacks Oo How many times has a terrorist attacked your school? continued -->

  • I honestly dont under stand why the identification will help. it will probally get some students in troble an will just expose information.

  • It's horrible students shoot each other, but unless you're monitoring everything about a students' activities in the school day, well, bad stuff can happen.

Now, instead of such frivolous, and not necessarily useful security attempts, actual attempts can be made towards promoting safer environments through helping students understand each other, getting hate out of the mindsets, working to change some social views that can cause these harms.

Safety can come from changing what causes the trouble.

  • i agree man... for my school as long as we're in school U we're safe. but for events like national day if the teacher lets us of early, the security gaurd will stand ther like some retard goin "ask the principal talk to me"

  • just a few days ago a seventh grader got shot, for openly portraying that he was gay. these peaople are here to help you live a safe life and someday, live a great life as a doctor or a lawyer, and help the coumounity prosper multply and replensh.

  • Be thankful you didn't have to put your bag through an x-ray machine and walk through a metal detector. I would think the other use of the ID being visible would be so that if a student does something inappropriate or against school rules, a staff member can identify them right away. The security is not just about the students either, it also includes the staff at the school. Teacher, etc. have a right to feel safe while doing their job. It may seem silly, but it isn't for those who feel safe.

  • mine is my 7th grade picture and u have it from 9th to 12th so u dont even look like u and u can get a retake but no one ever sees it cause its unloy used on our lunch accounts using are student id number no body even carries it

the only resaon for a student badge is if u can go off campus for lunch and then u still need a more up to date picture so basically the whole id badge thing is a waste of money

  • We have ID badges too, but they don't check us at the door, so people can get into the school without one for at least some amount of time.

Our Principal says that the ID badges are better suited to help medical emergencies than anything.

If you collapse in the hallway, they can see who you are, get any important medical information about you, and know who to contact immediately.

Although they do find people who shouldn't be in the school this way. I don't mind the ID badges.

  • I hate the ID's LPS makes us wear, it's a hassle. Every time I forget mine I have to get a temporary ID and I'm always late to my first class.

  • ya u should totaly run for presedent

  • You're right. You should become presedent, you would be great!

  • you just explained what the democrats do with the money they get. but not everybody needs those items. not everybody needs told dont do drugs from a couniler. so if we invest all of our money in things no everybody needs isnt more of a waste of money. if you paid for 100 people to eat food but only 20 people eat isnt that a waste of money. not everybody needs the same things.

  • AGREED man you made a good point

  • I had to wear lanyard/id's for 3 years at school...it was pointless. you can ask me why if you want but I don't feel like typing it out right now...

  • i am agread vith you bytyou said vhay to me i case VEARY MANY TIMES and sorry my iglies i am from Norway and vat vas that card thingy any hvay plz respond =3

  • 100th kid and agreed.

  • 100% true man there was a kid this year (who was like 80% freind to me) thretend people and was wellweird (lack of better word) and they didnt do anything

  • you´re right, im from spain and the closer thing wich my high school has done is to ask us to have our student id with us for when we get on the bus so the driver sees that no one from out of the high school travels free. I have been never asked for it, but it is supposed that such that rule isn´t so serious. Good video, congratulations.

  • My old high school has that too...all school in my district have it. They have it because a lot of old students were going on to the campus without signing in as a visitor and they didnt like that, so the schools here did it to keep old students out during school hours (or at least to sign in as a visitor) But I think its kinda lame too

  • this wazz posted on my birthday

  • Same here! the whole ID thing is stupid. It's actually more of a threat, if an itruder EVER invades, the ID kinda gives away your name and face.

  • I dunno, I really think that the lanyard string could be immensly useful for defense against intruders...

  • I know it's soo lame! My middle school does that too. And during the day, if we lost our ID or temperary ID, then we cant get on the bus or get lunch.

  • Why don't you switch your ID with someone else and see how long it takes anyone who cares to notice. Sounds like a surveilence video-no one watches untill something already happened.

  • How do you put videos on youtube when you use Windows Movie Maker??? Help!!!!

  • HIt control p and publish to you computer. That will change it w WMV format that will work with youtube

  • How do you put videos on youtube when you use Windows Movie Maker??? Help!!!!

  • i agree to my high school next year is going to do that to ;-( im sad

  • I agree. My highschool had to wear ID badges my sophomore year, and if we were found without our id we had to go through the demerit system. By the end of the school year, no one wore the id's anymore because we thought it was pointless and the system didn't work very well. Now it's something we look back on and laugh at.

  • It's about covering your bases. You're right that the money spent on the new badges could be used for other security measures, but what you failed to mention is the states of those other security measures at your school. For example if you had told us that your school's suicide rate was 10 every year, I would back you up 100% on the counseling thing. But if you said it was 1 every 2 years, maybe the ids are the way to go. ID's will at least be covering a base that hasn't been covered yet.

  • a science laboratory with materials that hardly ever get used and bathrooms with no water supply.

    Poor aint it?

As for you 'db'I'd rather study in your school (or at any other school for that matter which I will) than here.

It used to be good Ive studied here since I was in the 3rd grade. and starting 2005 it went down slowly by slowly.

Anyways as for my views for the 'news' thing. I totally agree, for me by living in the middle east (I aint Middle Eastern! I'm Asian!)...

    To be cont....

  • Well at my school we already do that ID around the neck thing, but our school is too lazy do anything. The freaky thing about that is we have to buy our own lanyard and ID Holder. Well o at our school theyre too lazy to even teach, out of 7 of my teachers of my 12 subjects (1 teacher teaches 4 subjects another teaches 2) 96.3% chance that only 2 of those teacher's will show up for the whole day! We have a library that has no books and is only open when the librarian is there

    (to be continued)

  • lanyard iz a funny word =D

  • They started locking the doors *according to my webpage design teacher* because three students had brought guns to school. Understand that I live in a town of 8,000 people...word spreads fast. With my dad being a cop, he hears most of the news pretty quickly. He never heard anything about any student bringing a gun to school this year.

  • In my school, they're pretty much locking all students out of the school. All of the doors are supposed to be unlocked until 8 o'clock in the morning...and then they're locked for the rest of the day. If students have to go to the Junior High *right next to the Senior High, some of the senior high classes are over there* and they want to come back, they have to walk around the school to doors that are next to the office in order to get in.

  • in my school we cant get in unless we flash our ID card to a security guard and if we forget to bring it you have to go to this room that has the year book and convince the people that you go to that school

  • im all with ya...i agree!!!!!

  • true that

  • That is funny because at my school you have to show you ID to get on. and one time my father was comming on to campus and the guy at front asked "picking up a kid" and my dad says "nope just droping off a bomb" and the next 3 days we have a bomb threat warning.

  • another genius' video.you have a point

but urm you shouldnt have loud music at the back it scared my younger cousin while he was sleeping

  • tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuubbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas

  • you rule

  • wow, I just read the poplicy thing, and it sounds like it sucks..... A LOT. I feel sorry for you.

  • my school does the lanyard thing

  • I agree, ridiculous idea. i mean i doubt this will help prevent a terrorist attack and more people really do die from like car crashes and drunk driving and even suicide

  • The term "intruders in schools" doesen't exist where I live. In my town anyone can waltz in and out of the school buildings. I live in Gaevle by Sweden by the way :P. To me the idea of having an ID badge around your neck in school is absurd.

  • I agree, ridiculous idea.

  • soo true

  • hey if they want the lanyards so bad make them out of yarn or something cheap like that. They should put some money towards school subjects or fundraisers or stuff like that.

  • I tottally agree you have a ton of videos on you tube. you rule!!!

  • oh my god i haven't been able to comment on one of you video's to share my opinion!

I hope you will ask me later for my positive opinions on your video's

  • i agree ive lost my i.d about 13 times =O

  • so true

  • Dan ur rite i mean the badges dont even do much i mean like people(intruders as lps might say) could just steal an id badge and use it for themselves......and it b better to use money to give to needy kids who cant offord their lunch.its just so stupid......

  • Hi Dan,

I think this paranoia problem is more a U.S. problem. I totally agree that money should be spend on things more important. We don't have this stupid I.D. problem here in Canada. However the money is still wasted on other stupid thing too. It's just a manner of governement :)

  • Hi, Dan!

i totally agree that ID cards are a waste of money and effort,

that schools could use this money for something that would help the students of the school

i myself have an ID badge and it does nothing but fill my wallet

id anything these badges a endangering and not protect the students in the sense that total strangers now now the students name school, etc.

this is more likely to happen than intruder in a school, not like it isn't obvious that they arnt a part of the school

  • hi Dan!, I beleive that you are right that money can be used in a more productive way than towards ID badges

if anything they are reveiling students personnel information to stranger, that is more likely to happen than a school intruder

  • this is so true i go 2 a different school but we have the same problem of overprotection and it is really stupid the school staff is going to notice a weirdo walking through the school

  • ha ha this video was posted on my birthday

  • i totally agree with you, dan. the ID bagde thing is utterly stupid. what you said at the end of the video really make sense and the authorities ought to think of those issues rather than intruders in schools.

  • i dont get it...

  • My school has the same policy, Dan Brown. I will say, you should run for SGA or what every government your school has. Its just the fact because the people at our school boards don't look at all that, they think "Oh well those things will get fixed else where without our money". Whats good, though is that they make the students pay, they don't GIVE us anything. So its nice to know they don't waist tax payers of the city's money, they waist MY money :/ .

  • i don't see the point of school ID cards. how does that protect you? i NEVER EVER use my ID card for ANYTHING our schools are wasting money. they might as well take thousands of dollars and put it in a shredding machine. after wasting all their money on pointless things like that theres not much money left for new school things and things are more expensive for us. i SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO agree with you dan

  • The only good things my school ID card is good for are identifying my body (if I'm dead), checking out library books, getting into school events, and getting a discount at Starbucks.

  • Our school does not require the students to wear the IDs BUT the students are required to have them in their possession. The IDs are used for getting on the regular school buses, the after school activity buses, into the school buildings, to check out materials from the library, to purchase school lunches, to purchase from the student's "school store", to get admitted into school events, functions, games, etc. I can't imagine the chaos of a system without the IDs.

  • Hmmmm, wearing them WOULD cut down on the time it takes the students to remove the IDs from their socks, bras, wallets and what have you! I will have to mention this to our principal. Of course, I am a little biased, I am the Cafeteria Manager at our school...

  • Hey, Dan!

    Nice Keller Comet IDs.

Guess what? Royal Oak High School (Kimball and Dondero combined in Kimball's building) is also requiring us to wear ID's. We'll see how that works. Personally, I think it's completely ludicrous.

Anyway, I stumbled across this video, and I wanted to say hi, and I hope you like Nebraska. Maybe Nebraska has better weather than Michigan, because I'm currently freezing.

    -Brittany Voshol

  • Run for president you will win.

  • i agree. if schools were spending more time on other things, the virginia tech guy might'v been noticed b4 he cracked. the students noticed that he was dark and demented and... unbalanced, but nobody did anything about it(as far as i know).

  • lol thats good. you would make a great politician or philosopher

  • totally agree with u. sounds pretty stupid that LPS or w/e is wasting money on lanyards and I.D. badges instead of other more important things.

  • u are the man

  • you said 'is' instead of 'are'

  • And you can't spell for shit.

Don't correct his grammar if you're obviously not doing so well yourself.

    KTHXBYE.

  • i fail to see what's misspelled there, maybe you can point it out to me but the last time i checked proper punctuation and sentence structure is definitely not the same as spelling :)

  • and you're discussing about what?... or just wasting your time

  • well if you read the two previous comments its kinda obvious that we're discussing spelling... but yes basically wasting my time with people like you and blackmetal ;)

  • Dude

You gotta go into politics ^^

  • hey dan this is 2007 but i am going to middle school next year that means i an get id so i will make you a video response also watch my video named dan brown because i want you to come to my bakery in co bye dan

  • dan brown for president screw the rest of the candidates! (except obama)

  • "Why are we wasting money on something so stupid?"

Because someone in the school district administration has a good friend in the local photo ID and lanyard-making business.

It might be a possibility. >_>

  • i agree with you. thats a stupid idea

  • Your a god to the world with your views on certain things. I have to say your absolutely right.

  • I have to say, I didn't know that things in America are that bad (in terms of restriction of freedom for the sake of so called security)...

It is besides pretty useless. If anyone (God knows what for) would want to come in to your school, he would be able, no matter what security measures.

Such badges are (in my eyes) pretty easy to forge or to get a hold of.

I also agree with you Dan, that the money would be better spend on other issues than on silly ID badges.

  • future president

  • You should run for President

  • future president!!!w00t

  • Can you say "Andy Rooney"?

  • Dan Brown for President!

  • My school enforced this last year. Reason y, yea safety. But no1 gives a rats...not even the teachers care...so more then likely same thing'll happen...ok...here's my proof...we had 6 real lockdowns last year...still no1 cares...good luck!

  • We have IDs but thank god they haven't made us start wearing them!

  • my high school does enforce the ID badge laniard thingamagig and i do find it annoying that i get detention everytime i don't wear, which has been happening a lot lately, but thts besides the point. The id thing at my school does give a sense of security because they I.D.'s we got have special chips in them that are used with a scanner to get into the school and bathrooms. However, when a crowd of kids are walking into the school, it is very easy for someone to just walk in.

  • Damn, I'm starting to get convinced that you should be president of the U.S.!

  • our fuckin school is doing that too now pisses me off (next year)

  • Dan i think you're completly right even though i dont live near you i still think your school district is a little screwed up. I say this because, can you tell me when a terrorist has broken into your school? I think its wrong to make name cards hanging by lanyards(sorry if i spelled it wrong) your school might have 3 million kids that are suicidal. Maybe you should talk to your principal and suggest all of these great, wonderful ideas. I hope you read this Dan. YOU RULE =D

  • DAN BROWN FOR PRESIDENT !!!! 8D im sure he would do a better job then the one we have now lol

  • They are scared for thier lives not ours. They are not looking out for us. They are looking out for themselves.

  • They make the ID cards anyway, only difference is there putting them on a lanyard on students necks.

Regardless they don't really do anything.

  • vote for dan brown when he runs for presindent. you r brilliant.

  • completely agree

  • Dude you are completely right about LPS being down right stupid on spending thousands of cash on ID badges and crap. I bet they don't give a shit about anyone.

  • alright you're right about the media and security but it's hard to take you seriously when a yellow cartoon who lives in the ocean is behind you

  • I don't get why they think that ID Badges are safe to wear.

They're probably thinking "Kids in schools today are getting drunk, comitting suicide and getting beatings by strangers on the street because they don't know who they are. So let's give them Badges on!". So they think that the minute you take off your bagde, a bottle of beer pops up in your hand and the next thing you know is that you're hanging over a cliff in a car...... i don't get it.

  • schools like yours should invest in security instead of that stupid badge things.. if they were smart, they would put up camera's (like my school) and watch all the available exits/entrances.. that would be a lot safer than wearing a stupid badge..

  • [con't]

My school has done similar things, though not as severe. What our school really needs are: basketballs with skins on them, a better counseling department (since it is virtually non-existant), and a HEATING SYSTEM. when it snows, you can hear people shiver during tests.

  • If I had to hazard a guess, some wigged out parent saw something on the news (as you said) about some school tragedy, such as the one in the Amish community a while back. They thought to themselves, "wow that wasnt prevented at all" which it probably wasnt. Then they complain to the school, make some rediculous support group, and the school has to listen.

  • I agree that it's stupid, but in my view, it's something deeper. Lanyards are a visible thing, people see them and know "The school is doing somehing". Providing counselling to troubled students? Nowhere near as visible. Sadly, this attitude only serves to depress those kids more - the sports team has new uniforms, while the outcasts are forgotten... Sorry, kinda going into my own rant here!!

  • guh i know. thost ID things are scratchy.

  • just wondering... how old are you?

you seem really smart. i think it is retarded. we shouldnt have to give up our civil liberties to make sure that we are "safe".

  • this isnt at school but at mye teck camp thae make us wear id badges and if u r caught not wearing one you haav to sing im i little teapot in front of the whole camp. just so some one wont steal a computer. I mean, they have some one sitting at the front desk cameras if someone even tries, they would get caught. just for some freakin' computers :-(

  • Rio Rancho public schools buddy! i know what you're going through

  • Dan, I feel your pain, good buddy. Our district has adopted an identical policy with the whole lanyard and ID badger security fiasco. I agree with what you have to say with regards to the excessive and wholly unneeded price tag. Public schools should be investing their time in provding real solutions for real problems. There are many dangerous people that are willing to shoot up schools, sure, but the two high profile student shootings I can remember were perpetrated by students themselves.

  • my school doesn't even have those picture things..o.0

  • importent things

  • Okay, sorry for the double post, but I have to clarify: that was a joke. Laugh! I agree with him, that's all. (In retrospect, it was also a little stupid.)

  • I agree on a level so high, it's almost sexual attraction.

  • i soo hate the ID badges!! if you don't have it on in school you get a detention .. soo gay, i agree with ya!

  • U R so right.

  • haha just last school year there was a chain of bomb threats 1 for farport 1 for mentor and 1 for riverside and in mentor 3 kids cummited suidid
