My friend had a lot of police chases in his days of pinching old bangers.

He got away once in a Vauxhall Corsa B. He got caught later in another car, he became so bad that the police would turn around with the lights on every time they saw him driving.

His not, no. Although he's still disqualified, they kept racking it up because every time he was caught they'd throw a "driving whilst disqualified" charge on, doubling his sentence and years banned.
