This track really gets you pumped and is perfect in every way for me.

The beginning describes the planing in the warroom, when the music gets pace we jump right into the battle and see out troups fighting against the enemy forces and finally stand victorious. Then the track starts over... :)

Why the fuck did they remove the map screens anyway?

I loved how you could see that you started in a nod controled continent as gdi and then after each mission more of the continent was showing gold untill only one spot was left red or so, at least you felt like you were COMMANDING you troops effectively and CONQUERING the battlefield.

The nod forces that attacked out phoenix base are in this sector. The base must be destroyed in order to secure the region, however this a significant civilian population (and so on). god why do i remember that when this music plays!

@ButtersStotch7000 The skirmish AI and gameplay was a bit slow. Also, only being able to queue 5 units at a time. Still was a great game IMO, and this is probably my favorite map theme in all C&C games. I did like the loading screen theme in RA2 ("Jank") as well, but they didn't really have a mission select int hat game.

the map sequences in C&C were always great :D always interesting seeing who controls where as the battles go on

The GDI map music in tiberian dawn had more of a political feel I guess you could say. It made me think of shrewd decisions in a war that the public is aware of, but not as directly affected by. It had a sort of "UN fighting terrorism for the people who have no idea how bad things really are" feel.

This feels more like "this is it", the worlds gone to hell and everyone is in the s**t, and they're all depending on you to succeed.

Or for nod it makes me feel like Im fighting for kanes vision.
