@Darkwintre It was a mixture of many things : Gerry Anderson didn't really have the input he wanted, 2D animation was poor (even for the Japanese low standards) and general low standards (although the 3D bits looked good).

@Darkwintre Maybe because of the show's premise. Elite team with hi-tech gadgets is kinda "been there, done that" in Japan.
