STEVIE WONDER made this track rock for me. What can I say about the man that ain't ALREADY been said the last 40+ yrs. A legend in his own time & in a class all by himself (but then again, Prince & Lenny are from that same mold as in one man units). I think many of the detractors completely missed the point of the album. The idea is for the covering artists to reinterpret a song in their own way. I'll admit that it took a listen or two to get used to the change in feel, but I really like Lenny's take on one of my favorite KISS tunes.

i expected to hate this. i'm not a lenny kravitz fan at all, and the first 3 notes of this confirmed my suspicions (i know i spelled that wrong). but for some reason, on the 4th or 5th note, it clicked. i dig it. cuz it doesn't rock anything like the original, but it rocks in its own way. it almost sounds like a doobie brothers song instead of a kiss song. i like the laid-back rock feel. it can be pretentious, especially with covers, and it coulda had about 240 less "yeahs" at the end,but i dig.
