How to record sound with no mic. using FRAPS

ok for those who are having probs I too had them..heres what i did...

plug out your microphone if u have a wired one(not in-built)>>restart fraps if you already have it open, if not, just open it, check record sound and select "best sound input"(the 1st one)>>minimize>>right click on the speaker at the bottom right of ur windows screen and open it>>options>>props>> scroll thru mixer devices>>select same one that fraps has>>check everything in vol ctrl>>ok>>mute "line in" then good2go.

Just go to Realtek HD audio manager and deactivate de Mic volume and do the same in the windows sound!!

just put the mic volume in silence and select the stereo mix,put the stereo volume mix in maximum and select!!

then go to fraps and put in movies:

Detect best audio input and put 50FPS

done then you an record video and audio!!

I've used Fraps for awhile, then not too long ago, the sound just stopped working on video playback. Turns out my Stereo Mix box wasn't checked for some REALLY odd reason and you have solved my sound problem for Fraps. Thanks!

hey. when i got the vids i looked at the file size and they were like 500MB. i was suprised but i managed to get it down to 5MBs using a converter.
