Dogs eat grass because they have a upset stomach and want to make themselves throw up to make it feel better...My dog doesent eat grass ALLOT, but when he does which is 1 every malenium, he act weird, like out of energy, and then he goes to eat grass like a day latter, throws up, and feels cured....Hope it helped

Also, my dog eats all leaves and vegetation when we walk him, he also is fond of bird poop and insects, but we pull him away from those. sometimes they just want a salad, sometimes their stomach is upset and they want to throw up,sometimes they crave something thats missing in their diet, there are several reasons why dogs eat grass really. I think pretty much all dogs do from time to time.
