she has a new more pop/rock oriented album coming out on in 2009. her first major label album since 1995. it was produced by John Fields most known for his work with Switchfoot and he also did some work on the new Fray CD that's coming out in the fall

should be interesting to hear what they created together.

MYOB is a great album. MYOB the song is just a filler track and should have never have been promoted. Same with ONLY WORDS from the Deborah album.

I wish she would stop being so stubbornly self-reliant and work with a hip producer. She just doesn't have the right sound. How many flops does she have to have to realize that she needs some help to rebound.

WOW, thanks for posting that vid - I remember watching the interview and MYOB performance, but they didn't broadcast Your Secret and after 5-6 years I finally get to watch it!!! YIPPY! Deborah is soooooooooooo awesome - I love how she did the hip thing with the girl! Very cool!

I *love* the MYOB album. However, MYOB -- the song -- is a hard song to pull off live, and somehow the look during this particular performance just doesn't quite work for Deb in my humble opinion....the horrible outfits detracted from the performance. That hideous hairdo and the skirt HAS to go!!! HAHA

This is another one of those things that I didn't get to see when it aired.

That album was very underrated and could have produced at least two hits if radio had been interested. She also actually sings during her performances instead of lip synchs the songs. Hardly anyone sings anymore.
