  • whats the song called at 2:07

  • really cool lights

  • "Practice and enjoy"? Pretty sure that's somebody else's tagline.... You had my respect up until those last three words.

  • great demo brian. thanks alot

  • Chauvet 260 q spot

  • I mentioned you and this fixture in my review for the Chauvet 260 LED. Thought I'd give you a heads up. Thanks Brian I so want to be you.

  • hey Brian ... what kind of controller are you using with this light? Thanks in advance.

  • Any idea on how these compare to the Chauvet Q spot 150's?

  • the spinning doesn't look fluid, is that because of the cam?

  • so bright for led !! mind you Variite are now doing a 120w led moving head!!

  • I am in the process of buying new lights. I have the option of ADJ Accu 300 or VIZI LED. Can you share your thoughts on which would you recommend? Also, how does manual focus differ from auto focus?

  • could you compare it to a discharge @250 watts side by Side? And what's the infinate prisum like?

  • That was a great demo - the VIZI looks like a really crisp high quality light. Thanks for the demo, Brian!

  • nice video thanks. Curious who you mounted them on the tripod.

  • @troymichaeldj Check out my videos on "Poor Man's Moving Head Totem". We built 4 different tripod/moving head stands so there are several options out there.

  • WOW that's bright.

could anybody please tell me what these retail for?

  • Previously I've had my doubts about the light output of LED moving head units, but with this video I'm beginning to get pretty sure it is "enough" - if you're not intending to use them on a stadium or something like that :)

And Brian, concerning shooting in the dark ... you could try locking the focus while lighted up by setting it to "manual mode". That might give better results, many video cameras have serious problems focusing when the light levels drop below certain point...

  • Great video yet again Brian. That club looks awesome!

BTWThis new youtube layout is just crazy and strange....why fix something that was working just fine before?

  • 3:19 gobo shake. COOL!!!!!!!!!

  • Did you use your elation dmx operator 192 to show us the gobos/colors in non-scrolling mode?

  • yes nice lights and nice to see animation in the gobos that look pro quality product!

  • This must be a big hit / seller in the U.S or am i wrong?, cause these are awsome

some of the best prods from ADJ, easy.

I just love em, hopefully the clubs im working in, will go for them, the rotofade is just a smash.

all depends on the pricerange, cause many resellers try to btf you on the deals

    Great vid bri!, thanks

  • Sorry Brian, didn't mean to flag as innopropriate. I meant to click comment but my iPod was acting up. Very nice video though, Thanks!

    Sincerely,

    NP special effects entertainment company

  • very nice light Bri!

  • Very cool lights! I may hit these to use with custom gobos for Brides!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • excelllent video brian...you kept your word...im buying mines on monday...i might get 4 of them....my question is....what were you using to controll them? ....and for next video i like to see them in a gig.....mixed with other lights. doode...you took your time to do this....we appretiate it.

  • must not of noticed it, or read the millions of comments you get! :)

  • those are awsome man!

  • This is one of the coolest lights I've ever seen!! Im going to save up my money and get my hands on a couple of these!! :D

  • Nice vid!

You really need to clean that camera lens tho :)

How about a video of what they look like on the inside!!

Always liked too see the guts of intelligent lights ;p

  • @audiofanaticz As I've mentioned in SEVERAL videos, pixles are out on my camera.

  • @audiofanaticz if he did it would void his warranty

  • @mattmax11 warranties are over rated :)

Anyways It just seemed like ADJ was slacking with their videos taking them apart.

Seems like they just added the under the hood video of the vizi led which wasnt there when i asked brian to take it apart. Lol

  • Thats bright enough for a mobile set up i think their cool looking. But of course the light is going to dissipate in a larger room. Most party rooms are not going to be that size

  • you could never tell they were LED by looking at them!! i love LED lights, especially now they have gobos to!!!

  • Great demo of these puppies! I am glad to see this, I've two in the mail! I think I will be very happy with the brightness, with the lights you could see these no problem.

One point to remember, brightness depends on the size of the room and crowd, what i mean it your doing 200 or 100 ppl weddings, then you don't need a 575W moving head, it will blind them.

  • great job and awsome lights, how cool would it be to have a 6 or 12 of them ;-)

  • WICKED LIGHTS!!!!!!!

  • those were really nice

  • Was thinking about picking two of these babies up... whats the difference between these and the Vizi Spot 5R?

  • @DJTru2 There is a lot different. The lamps for one in the 5R consume more power at about 160watts more for the lamp. The vizi spot LED is similar in output to a 150watt discharge. The visi Spot 5R is output is comparable to a 575 Watt Fixture. the spot 5R has more gobo's (2 gobo wheels for gobo overlay morphing) and has motorized focus via dmx as the vizi spot led has manual focus. I am sure there are more differences but i can't remember them all.

Sincerely, James (jingles) ADJ Support. :)

  • @DJTru2 The 5R use a Phillips discharge bulb with amazing clarity! Very nice indeed.

  • thank you for the video im vary impresses!!!! They are bright as hell

  • i love how it splits the gobo into 3 and then spins them. i was teching my music schools fall show and one of these came down right where i had to run a talk-box tube up a mic stand. man was it disorienting, ha ha good times. anyway good vid and

    have a good one

    voices

  • @ihearvoices22 IT also splits into a X5 prism & does this infinity thing too where it almost trails like you might have seen on your last Acid trip. HA!

  • wow! those kick ASSS

  • I was very impressed too - they're now on my wish list!

Thanks for taking the time to post.

    Cheers.

  • Can we seem them next to a 150watt and then a 250watt mover or scanner for comparison? Thats if you can get ahold of lights like that.

  • @RRollergod You can see them when you come to live next week and see them next to a tunafish sandwich if you wish

  • @briansredd now I want to see the tunafish sandwich lol

  • hey brian i was just at IDJ NOW in New york yesterday and saw a couple of these i was very impressed with them thanks brian!

  • Very good review on these. I've thought about possibly getting into LED moving heads. I've been a discharge lamp moving head guy for awhile. But after seeing these I really like them. Please be sure to bring these out to YTDJ's Live Midwest so I can see them in person. Thanks for sharing!

    ~DJ Bo~

  • @djboentertainment They'll be there! I was going to bring them to knotty pine as well

  • @briansredd Will you be there on Sunday?

  • Thanks Brian, now I want some!! LOL

    Great demo video!

  • That's a ton of fog for what little effect you get.

  • @gotladdertrucks Well keep in mind I was attempting to fog up a room with 35-40' walls. My camera could not capture the ariels very well as I said in the vid

  • @briansredd Still though, I'm able to pull off just as much effect with my Design Spot 250 Pro's with just a minimal amount of haze in the room. I'm usually in a gym, and the slightest amount will provide a great effect. How do they compare in brightness to an MSD250 fixture?

  • Now those are very cool!

  • Awsome.

Whats the RRP gona be on these.

  • nice moving heads i like them

  • wow, and this was with the lights on???? this thing must be really bright.

how well does it respond to sound active mode, as i am not quite ready to go dmx yet. also, how hard is it to stick a customized gobo in this thing?

i think i may have found my next light purchase thanks to this vid.

    thanks brian!

  • @BOBBYBLENDZ You can adjust the sound active response, although I have't messed with it too much in MIC mode

I know it's possible to change the gobos, but haven't attempted it yet

  • Cool Brian. Do you think these are really bright enough? I can't really tell from the video?

    Thanks a Million

    DJ Brian

  • @skiing54 You can't tell from the gobo projections on the walls with the lights up?

  • @briansredd Ya, i was just wondering your opinion?

  • Bright enough for what?

  • @briansredd I think they are plenty bright for anything any mobile dj could ever use them for!! To me this is the perfect affect light

  • @briansredd Medium to Large size room

  • @skiing54 Bright enough for what? For me? Yes. For you? Dunno

  • @briansredd Thanks Brian.

  • What great space. The lights look great esp on the stands.

These are just the Vizi spot right not the 5R Version?

  • @coolmjr Yup, you got it!
