Do you REALLY think the football players want to play more game? i mean the season is already 12 games and it is perfect length. Also, you think that fair? I mean let's say Utah or Boise st was in the top ten and were undefeated, by not top 8. Don't you think teams like that deserve a chance? Or should those teams play a stronger schedule?

In that regards, baseball may be, but to me, there are more upsets in the regular season and the point spreads are often more than 30. Standford beat USC in 2007 when they were 41 point underdogs. Who would have thought Utah would have beaten Alabama in the Sugar Bowl? yes, they need a playoff system in college football, but, it's there's too much to go into account if they decided to do it. But's that's a whole another topic alltogether.

2006 was an exciting tournament. full of close games, lots of upsets. final four games werent that close though. but everything until that point were.
