I encounter the best and the worst in people, and how good or bad someone can be is independent of race or economic status or where someone fits in any social hierarchy...

I concur. We come from all walks of life and we each adapt and behave differently. I was wondering yesterday about how I would feel if I purposely looked for the good in someone (bitchface maybe?) instead on dwelling on what I dislike.

Sometimes it takes a good long time to discover those redeeming qualities... I got into a fight with the manager of the gas station where I fuel up every morning. This was over a year ago and it was about something petty. I had not exchanged two words with that manager since. Other gas station employees were having a conversation this morning, and me and the manager were both on the fringe of it but at opposite ends. This morning she said, "Have a nice day" to me... Full moon tonight!

Now i'm beginning to realise what jambayala is.... did you cook that steak or do you buy it like that already?

It was leftover steak from the evening before. We buy top round lond broil on sale and they're HUGE! (2.5 lbs each!) I dice an onion, two peppers and leftover meat to add to the jambalaya mix. DELISH!
