  • This is a very impotent health tips

  • 3. My favourite treat is Indian rice pudding. I make my own with brown basmati rice, almond milk, saffron, cardamom, sliced almonds, chopped pistachios and brown rice syrup. It's pretty simple to make and very yummy. It's not raw or healthy, but I think it's a thousand times better than a bag of Doritos or ice cream [:

  • 2. I didn't realize this before, but now that I've recognized it and accepted it, it's time for me to take action and work on it. I'm going to try your suggestion and allow myself a healthy guilty pleasure now and then, and try not to feel so guilty about it. Thank you for the advice. I appreciate your videos so much :]

  • 1. I'm trying to be better about this. I've always approached my diet in an all-or-nothing manner. Either I eat extremely well 100% of the time, or I give up entirely. I have a tough time finding any grey area. It doesn't help that I'm a perfectionist and very obsessive-compulsive. I'm very driven and always have to have some kind of regime. If I can't have a perfectly healthy one, things get BAD.

  • you look sickly.

  • I usually make myself a cacao smoothie when I am craving somethng. After all, this is only Day 13 Raw for me, haha

  • I love the way she says "banAnAz", good video

  • The way you say 'bananas' is cute. Haha. Also, good advice.

  • It took me a long time, but I finally came to realize this, and you are absolutely right. Being way too strict and putting so much pressure on ourselves will make us cave in and eat cooked food garbage. I'd go back and forth from cooked junk food to strict raw and just couldnt find the right balance...but you nailed it, we need to find a raw food version to endulge in once in a while. I've stopped being so strict on myself and its working. Thanks for this and all your videos..I enjoy them. :)

  • you make this diet sound new and exciting

  • thanks for sharing! I just hate it when i make a bad raw dish and then get turned off and then I get so bummed..but this was a nice thing to hear! thanks

  • I really needed to hear this. I was too strict, I totally agree. My comfort food that keeps me raw is raw brownies and I don't even eat much of it.

  • o.m.g. this weekend was THE WORST, i binged really bad on processed food and cried for hours, it was terrible.

  • Just move forward-- what is done is done, ONLY GREATNESS TO COME!!!

  • I have done the frozen bananas and it is awesome. It tastes really good. Make sure they are ripe, cut two or so up and freeze. You can then food process them until it looks like ice cream :)

  • Yum!

  • mm i'm going to try that frozen banana thing. with a dash of cinnamon and a few walnuts mixed in, that would be amazing

  • nutrients from your raw food it'll be much easier to avoid cravings! After a while it'll become natural and you'll be able to listen to your body and know when you need what. I feel it's more important to focus on getting all the nutrients you're needing rather than aiming for just weight loss :)

  • I agree!!!

  • Great video! I think more than finding raw versions of comfort foods it is really important to be aware of the nutrients you're getting. When going raw it may be very easy to just eat raw food, but without paying attention to the specific nutrients you should be getting it is very easy to miss some really important things. Cravings occur usually due to a deficiency of a certain vitamin or mineral, so if you pay close attention to making sure you're getting enough

  • Great advice.

  • My craving is, honey, cacao powder and cashew nuts blended, and then I make little balls out of them :)

  • OMG... yum.

  • Yummy!!!

  • excellent points
