@Misterphooey No, not necessarily. I just tend to prefer producers who make their own sound. For instance, I like Premo and Rza's original beats more so than their sampled work. It's all a matter of preference, I suppose. Kanye's got some good stuff, don't get me wrong. Just irks me sometimes. Esp when listeners don't even realize the producer is sampling a classic (or sampling at all!)
