  • what in your opinion is the growth rate for fire eels?

  • @XamphetimineticXsinX well, I would say that depends on how you feed them and how clean their water is. When i feed once a week or if i dont keep their water clean, i see their growth slows down. My eel grew only 5 inches in a year. But i know for a fact, If I had fed them everyday and did a water change like every week, I shouldve seen a much faster growth. and and dont forget tank size. Bigger the better :P

  • dude i have a 20 g with loaches like yoyos and clowns. i have sharks, and one peacock eel......our tanks r similar

  • @patif35 nice dude....i dont have this setup anymore though. loaches went to 60g planted, sharks to 55g oddball and i changed this tank into a growout for a id shark and the fire eel.

  • Nice fish bit for all them you need at least 30+ more gallons

  • @s3amonkeys infact, they need 100+ gallons as the eel, sharks and loaches get over a foot in length. I never get fish without learning things about them.

  • @zaracki92 haha your right:)what was i thinking 30 gallons.

  • very Nice :-)
