i have been seeing these guys' scores and stuff but have no idea who this quartet is composed of. can anyone tell me who all these guys are, where they come from, how long they've been together?
well it's Flipside but with Chris Vaughn on lead. Reason they're called Redline now is because Rick is not the original tenor and the rules say that since there are two new members since the quartets first medal, they have to change the name. So the bari and bass have been singing together for I think about ten years. Then Rick started singing tenor with them two years ago. And now for the past nine months or so Chris has been singing lead with them
I never said they competed, i said they sang on the show. Chris is the director of the Loveland, CO chapter and that chapter was the host for the RMD prelim convention. So they sang on the show to get practice before Nashville... But i guess i could be wrong, I could've been totally cracked out that weekend and just thought that i was at the RMD prelims when i was really at DIX :-)
They had the same outfits at Dixie, and they sang "Hello" in the contest. The curtain was close too. I probably should have remembered that the didn't do OCS though. My bad.

I was at the Dixie contest too, but I think the curtain was a different color. They competed in Dixie, though.
