  • @TheBarefootWarrior no problem :) to bad ur taken i should have married u xD! :)

  • Love the videos! Very informative. I need more practice on push-ups *lol* Also thanks for the comment on my page :)

  • @kittytreats You can definitely work up to 5 perfect push ups, and there is no shame in going to your knees because as you can see I have to. :)

If you want to work on your push ups, something you can do besides drop sets is to push up on your knees and then once you reach the top of the push go to your toes, hold the plank and then slowly lower yourself down on your toes. This works the negative movement which builds strength. Give it a try. :)

  • I just took my first kettle bell lesson from an RKC. He suggested sticking to swings alone (no lifting or jogging) for cardio. Can the kettle bell swing alone make substantial improvements in endurance? Your looking great tbw!!

  • @mizzoulibertarian YES IT CAN!!! Swinging alone took 2 minutes off of my 3k time - I was stunned at my first run last spring. I did Enter the Kettlebell program over the winter which calls for swinging, swinging, swinging and more swinging and when I ran my time was 14:32, usually it was 17ish minutes. Swinging conditions your heart like nothing else I've ever done, including sprinting hills. If you are doing the swing correctly you are working everything from your shoulders down. :)

  • Another great work out! Thanks so much for sharing!!!

  • @lisalovescapetown What is REALLY cool is that after I named this workout, we took the kids on the cruise and Peg Leg wasn't there - so they asked Dan to be Peg Leg Pete for the story they told the kids!!!! I have pictures that I have to show with his face painted and carrying the cane, it's hilarious :D :D :D

  • Thanks for the inspiration! I'm going on a 2 week vacation (road trip style) and I too will be leaving equipment at home. Mat, timer, and maybe a resistance band, is what I'll have. I'm a fitness instructor and weight lifter (Kickbox/ weights/ Shred classes), so I want to keep workouts going while I'm gone. My Shred class is much like what you do, so I love all the ideas you share! =) Thanks!!

  • @kelly1351 I am glad you like them, as I have a lot of fun coming up with and doing this! I don't teach classes anymore, so this is a great outlet - who'd have thought youtube could be good for that! :D I actually used to be a kickbox instructor, too. I am going to do a couple of kickbox vids in the near future because that was my favorite class and I am really missing it..

Have fun on your vacation! :)
