the thing is cheng fei is a great gymnast but she tries to do the most difficult and challenging moves that its so hard its noticable when she isnt succesfull at landing it

that music is the yellow river piano concerto, and it's a piece that is a huge part of chinese culture...i don't think it's "awful" - i think it's inspiring.

the choreography is also amazing for this routine - it's so reminiscent of beijing opera (but obviously in a more graceful way lol)
