In my opinion it shouldn't be banned, because when people are not clever enough to use protection, and get pregnant, often they don't want the baby. I come from a very religious family but I am two minds about abortion. While I am pro-life for me I am pro-choice for others. Who I am to tell another woman what to do with her body. My biggest annoyance is that birth control isn't used more often. My mom always said "I'd rather you didn't have sex out of marriage but if you are thinking of it, come to me and I will get you birth control." If you don't want to give birth to a baby, take steps so you won't get pregnant.

I almost agree with everything in this video. The only thing I don't quite agree with is the sex education. Some schools seem to think that five-year-olds need to know that stuff. No. When I was five I thought boys were gross and had cooties. I wasn't about to have a baby with any guy just yet. In my opinion it shouldn't be banned, because when people are not clever enough to use protection, and get pregnant, often they don't want the baby. They are not ready for it so abortion is really the best choice for younger people. And it's not exactly killing a child, it's killing a cell, it's not yet a child. 3. Abstinence is the only sex education that should be taught. It is the only one that is guaranteed to work 100% of the time. I come from a very religious family but I am two minds about abortion. While I am pro-life for me I am pro-choice for others. Who I am to tell another woman what to do with her body. My biggest annoyance is that birth control isn't used more often. My mom always said "I'd rather you didn't have sex out of marriage but if you are thinking of it, come to me and I will get you birth control." If you don't want to give birth to a baby, take steps so you won't get pregnant.

I almost agree with everything in this video. The only thing I don't quite agree with is the sex education. Some schools seem to think that five-year-olds need to know that stuff. No. When I was five I thought boys were gross and had cooties. I wasn't about to have a baby with any guy just yet. Don't get me wrong, sex ed. is fine...just not as early as kindergarten and perhaps in a setting that isn't so embarrassing.

The term Pro-Choice only came about because of the "Pro-life" campaign, but what you fail to mention in this video is that the Pro-Choice campaign is all about sex education and preventing pregnancies. I haven't seen a pro-choice organization yet that just said "hell if you want an abortion, just go ahead." most of them really try to prevent unwanted pregnancies to begin with and push for a lot of what you said should be done

Yea obviously the issue is whether or not it should be legal. But what I'm trying to say is that Pro-Choice does not equal pro abortion. They want it to be legal, but they also want to take preventative measures to make sure that women don't have to go through it. Okay, here's my view on abortion.
Most women don't have an abortion. Period. Out of those that do, almost all of them have a good reason. Possibly they're young, and never got proper sex education. How would you like to have to quit school at 13 when you know your baby won't have a good life. And furthermore, if the woman DOESN'T have a good reason to get one, and just flat out doesn't want the baby, what's the point in making that baby go through a life of pain and have no proper care? If a woman will die if the baby is not removed then that deals with the Principle of Double Effect and is something separate from a normal abortion. Did you know having an abortion messes up the insides of the woman. Most women who have had an abortion have had several miscarriages. However, I don't agree that abortion is a crime with all means. A woman should be able to choose what to do with the unborn fetus living inside of her. However, having said that, abortion should not be used as birth control.

I do believe abortion is totally moral. The average unplanned pregnancy leads to a crappy life anyways. To randomnerd2063- I would much rather have no life at all than a really painful one including possibilities like poverty, being unloved, and waiting to be adopted.
Some people base killing animals being OK or not on whether or not the animal is intelligent, or can feel pain. On both of these criteria, killing an embryo is totally moral.

Abortions are actually roughly 4x deadlier than childbirth, my friend, even if it IS in the long term. If a woman is gonna die from childbirth, the abortion would likely kill her too. She might as well give her life for the baby's rather than put two deaths on society's slate.
