  • i know it's about gameplay not graphics but oot 3d graphics made the game more beautiful and colorful

  • doesn't matter which version you get, just get it

  • i wished the nintendo e store has and n64 classic, just like the psn. so i don't have to drop another 40 bucks for a game i already played.

  • Both are awesome! :D Great game! :) Liked!

  • i think the n64 is better, why? i don't have a 3ds

  • @XxHELLRAZ0RxX Dude no way. I mean HD remake of Mojoras Mask would be awsome!!! But the Wii U acording many different sites have stated that the Wii U is going to cost about 350 to $450 dollars!!! 3ds version is the way to go.

  • maybe instead of graphics change the bosses' playstyle?its as fucking boring as wario land -.-

  • Screw COD,COD Can't bring the glory and wonderfulness that Ocarina of time did back then ~<3

  • ocarina of time 3D is a one shit and ocarina of time clasic is awesome

  • Comment removed

  • ill always love zleda nintendo for ever thanks for the great childhood memorys :)

  • Game's felt so wonderful back then on the 64 wow life was easy fun and so great ive never found the same experience or memorys on any other console idk nintendo made my childhood magic ps3 and xbox made me rage N64 for the win anyday

  • Now all we need is Majora's Mask for the 3DS

  • @411811318152399 I need a Majoras Mask remake for Wii U ... :(

  • It's a simple case of more detail (right) vs more atmospheric (left)

  • @MadaxProductionz yeah, the atmosphere on the 64 one made me want to shed a tear lol, wish more games had that kind of tone to it these days :/

  • A real Legend of Zelda fan doesn't care about the graphics, but about the GAMEPLAY! :D

  • @jutra0 You just got a thumbs up my dear friend. :3

  • @jutra0 indeed!

  • @jutra0 So u say u wouldn't care if you have the normal version of twilight princess or the HD version? If so, u are an idiot.

  • @anandihouben If they play the same, then why does it matter? Gameplay > Graphics. If he hadn't played either and had the chance to buy one and they're both at the same price, then sure go for the HD one. He's saying that graphics aren't everything and that comparing them is pointless since they are the same game. And if you've ever played Zelda games before, you'll know that the developers focus more on gameplay/story than graphics.

  • @anandihouben

Lol who cares about the ''HD''... By the way you say that i'm a idiot, but who write their ''you'' as ''u''? XD

  • @jutra0 A thirteen year old dutch kid who taught himself English at the age of 7 online by looking at people and playing games wich in they say u instead of you? I know it's you. However about the graphic thing, It's kind of more because i'm a Nintendo (As they call it) "Fanboy" and I enjoy smacking Sony and Microsoft fanboys in the face for better graphics then the ps3 and xbox 360.

  • @jutra0 HELL YEAH!!!

  • OoT3D looks better runs smoother, has more content and is handheld, but there's just something magical about the N64 one which can never, ever be copied.

  • lol

  • Wow they remade the whole intro o.o

  • 3DS Is better

The animations and the fps are smoother

The 3ds has the ''goron mountain'' : 0:19

and it shows more than the n64

Play minecraft, The n64 has the render distance at short and the 3ds has it at long

    3DS IS BETTER

  • 3DS

  • The 3DS textures look much nicer. The soil and grass starting at 0:26 and the walls a little later look much more natural. The trees in the background at 0:34 give the 3DS forest a much more... well, forest-y feel. As for the brighter vs darker colors... I guess I'm okay with either. The darker feel was kind of nice, but I don't mind the 3DS one.

  • Why does Nintendo suck so much?

  • @makotomikami Why do Sony fanboys hate Nintendo so much? if they know that Playstation would not exist without the Nintendo's help

And why the Nintendo fans does not hate Sony?

  • @oddlyoko2000 lol, I don't own a PS3, champ XD

  • @makotomikami I don't know but your proof that gamers can't respect their heritage. Also I find it funny how nintendo fans never say shit against other consoles/computers, guess it just means they're more mature :)

  • @boypisces12 Respect is earned, kiddo, never pitied :p

  • @makotomikami Weird then how nintendo hasn't 'earned' respect for being the first video game business to break out into the mainstream, others like atari tried but nintendo was the only success. And you can't argue that games like metroid, legend of zelda, super mario, pokemon, star fox etc. all franchises created by nintendo are still extremely popular today, yes maybe modern sequels didn't live up to the expectations of fans, but games like super mario galaxy prove that nintendo still has it.

  • @boypisces12 Just as respect can be easily granted, it can also be lost, Nintendo lost my respect ever since Miyamoto stuck his own head up his ass with all these silly gimmicky ideas of his, but hey, I do have a lot of respect (and curiosity) of what he's smoking :p

  • 0:20 1998-2003 wtf? 2003? The game is out in 1998. Could that be the GC version?

  • Well , i have seen all the comments here and i just can say that ANYONE can think what ANYONE wants to think. Some people say that n64 its better( i luv that version) and other people say 3Ds but anyone can think what anyone wants well im just saying but if you want to still fighting its Ok

  • I really love the n64 iam 10 and i ply it on my computer iam on the fire temple boss volvagia. I luv it C=

  • @JigokuGirl01 pirate

  • N64 is the best!

  • 0:50 FAIL!

  • Why is everything so bright on the 3DS!?

  • @Manofunctional Mo' colors. I think they use 32 bit. I still like the older low saturated colors. But i'm old school like that.

  • @Omatusano The original is much more dark and gloomy, "a kingdom in peril"-sort of. Fits better imo.

  • i still like the classic N64 look better.

  • Anyone who says the N64 version looks better is doing it for nostalgia or that they like the darker colors, but technically the 3ds one does win graphic wise. This is a 64bit system comparing to a far higher bit system (I have no clue how many bits it is, nobody really goes by bits anymore)

  • I love the sky in the intro! It looks amazing!

  • i like the darker style of zelda oot on the n64 better

  • Who cares? They are the same

  • Your using the GC one not the N64 one :3

  • 3ds one obviously looks better but there is just always something about the original.

  • n64 wins

  • funny thing is that the n64 was better...

  • how are you able to get the 3ds video on to a computer to upload it?

  • framerate is much smoother in 3ds version but I like the drab colors of the original better.

  • I've been a big fan for ages and the only reason people say the N64 version is better for any reason is because of nostalgia, the 3DS version is better in basically every way apart from the fact that it was originally an N64 game and is 13 years old

  • mm not quite sure. i mean, 3ds is smoother. but it depends. the flaws and jittery graphics of n64 might have added to the atmosphere that made it epic. but since I haven't played it yet on 3ds, I can't really make a proper analysis.

  • I know graphics don't mean nothing. But I mean, they are both the same game. But the 3DS remake is a heavy update. Not so many flat objects (like fences), not so much blockiness, much more detail, the fixed camera areas aren't just paintings, although the original does have darker tones. But the 3DS version has the iron boots upgrade, smoother controls, boss refighting, decorative areas, many updates (although some actual bonus content woulda been nice) But honestly 3DS owns N64.

  • i agree with icawn

  • the 3ds version is better i have the 3ds version and its hot compared to the 64 one

  • 64 looks better color-wise, to me.

  • @DarthSears To me it has more of a aged look to the trees and what not. I think that makes for a better game experience.

  • i thought n64 ocarina was gorgeous when it came out back than. it was one of those games thats took visuals to the next level.

But, i think 3ds version looks better. more detailed textured, fps, brighter.

In contrast, i think the 3ds version of mario 64 looks much shitter than n64 version...quite the opposite of zelda here

  • 3ds have more fps :)

  • I have both versions and to be honest: I like the n64 version a bit better. The main reason I bought it in the first place is because I wanted it to be portable.

  • At least kid isn't humping the rock in the 3DS version so much

  • actually spent last weekend on completing this game on the n64, and im going to comlete it on 3ds later.

  • if you can try and do a GC and 3ds comparison :D

  • @trollmanx The oacrina of time on gc is just a port of the n64 version...it would be the same.

  • @trollmanx they are exactly the same, actually i think this is the gamecube-version because it says "1998, 2003 Nintendo" on the titlescreen

  • @trollmanx emulation!

  • I wish I could burn down the nostalgia cave of some people -__-

  • I think that the video game industry is trying to create a realistic look with all of the classics, including the new games. What they DON'T understand is that the Zelda series and Mario franchise ARE NOT meant to be real, tangible characters! They are cool and will always be cool stuck in their video game worlds as imaginative creations, not as some wanna-be real life beings. Leave that to Call of Duty and those crazy first person shooters!

  • @aoitori101 Lol i see where your coming from but are you going to tell me you are satisfied looking at a blocky link than a fully porpotioned link, that just doesn't make sense to me. I don't think anyone wants wants it realistic since its like a cartoon but hell if i could see cloud's (ff7) spikey headed ass in hd or even in these graphics i would jump through hoops to get the game. I have nostalgic feelings for classics too but lets be realistic. lulz COD.

  • @shdwboi07 U got a point but it's hard to accept it when you've held onto a classic for so long. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against the new graphics or anything (heck yes, Link looks great in Twilight Princess :D), but it's just difficult to accept how they want it modern when the goal is to preserve the classic. I played it that way as a kid, and I just feel it should stay that way. But I shall accept it some day. Btw, I love FF, and Link looked sexy in his blockiness!

  • @aoitori101 Well at least you are open minded. I'm gonna admit when i saw the tech demo for ff7 i was wonderin who would want a remake for an already great classic experience then when i finally warmed up tot the idea, imgaine how dissapointed i was when i found out it wasn't actually a game XD. lulz and as to links sexyness no comment.

  • @shdwboi07 lol, really? That's hilarious! FF7 is def a classic which I admit must be buffed with mad awesome graphics. Just Final Fantasy in general. If Cloud or any of the original FF characters remained in their blocky, Playstation form...I would cry!!! Or rather in the NES forms...and one remake I do appreciate is the FF4 remake on DS. That is one I cannot complain about!

Well, nice chattin with you :)

  • @aoitori101 Oh yeah 4 DS was absolutely exsquisite i loved every minute of it, it also felt more challenging than the original to me XD, though ive heard the difficulty was actually dumbed down but now i am so fricken pissed cloud or squall isn't in hd i could cry lmao.

  • Who cares if the graphics are better. N64 version wins no matter what cuase its not some remake that kids take as the original.

  • @Bo0Mhe4d5hOT the remakes are made so tht the current generation can enjoy all the great games from the past. Thats all.

  • @Bo0Mhe4d5hOT ?? thats not really better thats just you having problems with kids who think this is the original (idiots)

  • @MegaKratos234 This is what I hate about kids these days... They say the remake is the original and when you show them the original they say "NO IT AIN'T!"....whiny little fucknuts...

  • @Bo0Mhe4d5hOT

    What the fuck....

It's the same game. How could it be any worse than the N64 version? And yeah, the 3DS version improved a lot more than just graphics, so really it is a more perfect version of the same game.

  • 3ds looks better but.. its bright really bright which is probly needed for the 3D feature

  • its bo the same !! nut fuck it!! Zelda ocarina of time!!

  • N64 version +HD fan made pack looks even better lol

  • Good times back then.

  • smooth framerate is smooth

  • The beginning to the N63 i like better, much a dark tone for the moring sun

  • N64 is still more fun...

  • they should have but the majoras mask moon on the 3ds intro for a joke Xd

  • probably the only complaint I have had about ocarina of time was how dark all the colors were. It looks like the 3ds version fixed the game's only problem

  • cross your eyes to see 3d XD

  • shiny link is shiny

  • i have both and luv both

  • wey ese no es de 64... es de gamecube, ya que al inicio dice 1998-2003, y en el 64 solo decia 1998 nintendo

  • nintendo 64 forever!

  • the 3ds vershion looks better the forest looks like a childs place now then a creepy forest

  • Nintendo 64 :3

  • Who cares. I'd play both.

  • The original is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.

  • i just looked at the logo after so many times playing this game but why is it on fire

  • 0:40 to 0:44.theres that kid humping the rock again....

  • HEY!

  • wow, i got the 3ds and this game, but i never thought the difference in graphics was so glaring, until now.

  • n64 looks better i just have to say that

  • @spm289 *facepalm* whatever gets you off i guess lol. Hope i didnt seem rude though, but hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder i guess. You keep rocking rebel, no fancy shmancy graphics stops your lovin, no sir!

  • @toonytoonoftoontown no for real dude the color look darker and it give it that scary feeling when u are in the temples unlike the 3ds zelda

  • @spm289 same meaning here

  • @spm289 the 3ds version looks better dont deny it but the n64 brings memories back...

  • perhaps the most notable difference is that the n64 runs way worser.

  • Keep in mind that the makers of ocarina of time 3d aimed to have the game match the original artwork, this is how the game was always intended to look and it looks brilliant.

  • People need to wipe off the nostalgia and realise how brilliant of a job the 3ds version did with its graphics.

I also love how they fixed some things from the original. In my opinion, the 3ds really is the definitive version.

  • What I noticed:

    1. Everything is brighter, expecially the water.

    2. The ground actually has stuff growing off of it, not just flat grass.

    3. The fairies have a different shape.

    4. Nothing will 'poke' me with it's sharp edges anymore.

    5. THIS IS EPIC.

  • @xfairyboy64x you forgot how the moon has more life to it

  • Which one is better? I will buy 3ds version if its better

  • @stephenouma 3ds

  • @stephenouma Sad to say... the 3ds version... is exactly the same. Only thing it has are Helpful hints, boss rush and Master Quest. Thats basically it.

  • @Hurricane500000 And dont forget they made it brighter, unlike the original, I always hated the fact that n the original the visuals was a bit dark, whereas the 3DS version, they made the visuals a hell of lot better...

  • @tofer17 Ah yes. :o and I WILL give them credit.

  • I love the N64 version (it was my first video game), but the 3DS version stole my heart. XD The framrate is DRAMATICALLY improved, the graphics are better, gameplay is alot smoother, everything in and out of towns and dungeons are updated, and there's even a few new animations. :3 3D version was the best buy I have ever made. XD

  • N64 WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST VERSION

  • @0076410 LoL the 3ds one is pretty amazing it self! :D

  • @0076410 except for the framerate

  • @0076410 ehhhh....well, i cant say anything there. You like what you like, but be open to a bit of change, but you do how you do i wont stop you!

  • origionally ocarina of time was supposed to release on the n64DD but the attachment was a commercial failure so there were many setbacks and downgrades to the game. so the 3ds version prooves us what the game shouldve been before. n64 ran on 20fps while 3ds runs in 30fps for better motion n the n64 version wasnt bad at the time but now it looks like polygons 2 me

  • Theres a lot of fools here.

Obviously the new version will look better, it's better technology.

How much of a moron do you have to be to post a comment like that, honestly get a fucking clue please.

  • The 3DS version looks

  • the n64 version will always be the best.

  • I like that the Kokiri Forest is more warm and inviting. In the old game it just seemed so dull. The old intro with Link and Epona in silhouette is cooler, though.

  • i like the part in the 3ds when the name of the game pops up

  • When Navi hit that fence in the 3DS version I jolted back a little bit even though it isn't in 3D. Overall, the 3DS one looks well polished and amazing.

  • Hello!!!

  • I cant wait to get this game. the first time i playes ocarina of time i loved it so much. it will be like playing it for the first time again

  • Looking at this, I think I prefer the original graphics more. They've got a bit of grittiness. The 3DS version is almost so colourful it hurts my eyes

  • I have noticed the 3DS version is more colorful.

  • would rather play this great game on a big tv screen, rather than some little shitty handheld.

  • @noobige

Oh, we care. We really care.

  • @noobige can you bring your tv in ur car i dnt think so db

  • <3 beautiful

  • I came Navys

  • :-/ I wish I could afford that game and system! Ocarina of Time on my GameCube is so boring after seeing this.

  • :-/ I wish I could afford that game and system!

  • The into with the moon was changed TO MUCH! That intros a classic! Its not the same any more! wtf

  • @marioyo8 In what way? Its recreated pretty faithfully.

  • Hes not fucking that rock anymore

  • if mido is still a dick then so help me god i will crack his skull open with one of those rocks

  • i still prefer the n64 intro, there's just something about the lighting that's just awe inspiring (probably not the right word to use)

  • @BordersOfInsanity yeah me to, but its just the nostalgia

  • @IrishLegend26 the soft music the soft colors and the soft lighting mixed in with a little nostalgia and you got a game to remember for the rest or your life

  • @IrishLegend26 the soft music the soft colors and the soft lighting mixed in with a little nostalgia and you got a game to remember for the rest or your life

  • i saw the 3ds version looks much better

  • @robotman5 *say

  • @robotman5 Yeah But the N64 Version Is So nostalgetic =3

  • @kazzutokiller yeah!
