This clip (or clips) have nothing to do with this song. Tomas used to be the support before the concert and he was in the same stable as Abba. In fact he even married Stig's daughter and now has his fortune I believe. Good for him as I think he is great and you should try and get his Fasten Seatbelts album from the 70's The songs on it are amazing. He is a very talented songwriter.
He did background vocals live for Abba as seen here and these clips are just cobbled together from the main show.

You're right, my friend, they didn't. Tomas wrote it himself, he writes all of his own songs.
