I get some time to go and work on this and realize at some point after I made the trailer vid it began taking massive dumps on everything it decodes compressed w/ DivX (which is what all the clips are kept in). Anything (I'm not even sure which ones) I reencoded since it started is all smudgy and twitches and looks fucking obnoxious >=O

Do you use perfect wavelands when you land on the ground? (like at 0:28)

Also, how do you waveland onto the stage after hanging on the edge? I can never land on the stage (or edgehop uair, for that matter)

Most of the time yeah. If I'm playing a little sloppy I'll angle them very slightly down like you would for perfect WDs.

On the edge it's most important that you don't fastfall when you let go, since you only have about a 1 frame window that way, compared to 4-5+ if you don't. Jump as close to when you let go as possible and if you use down to let go tilt it not smash it to prevent fastfalling.

I do a 1/4 circle away to up then press A to do the u-air. Since doing it that way has me holding away slightly when there's enough up to register as a jump the DJ gives momentum away from the edge, but not too much to be too far to regrab. If it looks different when they do it it's prolly cuz they use the c-stick and then DJ straight upwards with the u-air.

Yeah... Actually, I use this the same way you do, Magus, although I use the c-stick for mostly everything. That 1/4 circle method seems to be the only way to do a proper edge-u-air.
