Love the song in french and hey................a cracking looking woman. The hairstyle is still in fashion now and one of my favourites. I was besotted with her in the sixties and still am. When the song came out, my neighbour, a lovely girl of my age and a Sandy look-a-like, was dancing bare footed on the pavement and singing her heart out. It's lovely to go back in time occassionaly and reminisce.

Thanks for posting this clip and bringing back some fond memories for me.

Did you see the size of the bunion on her left foot at 1:07? No wonder she performed bare footed most of the time. It must have been painful for her to wear shoes.

My impression is that she sang barefoot (or wearing stockings, as she does here) as a sort of a trademark. Something to distinguish herself with. Bunions don't necessarily hurt - I have them. I read that Sandie had cosmetic foot surgery in 2006 or 2007.

Can you imagine the disappointment of all the shoe salesmen who waited on her? Sandie is an attractive woman, and the salesmen were probably anxious to see an equally beautiful pair of feet. But as soon as she removed her shoes...YIKES!
