as an ex-owner of the xbox. I love my new ps3. for many reasons. this video says most of my reasons. but i have my own. from the first time i opened my ps3 i saw it was neatly packed and only required 2 cords to operate. power and hdmi cords. an xbox is in a box with over 5 cords. its so messy, i have owned the xbox 360 and i love my ps3. enough said.

It meant a single core CPU processor can only deal one task at the time. It only does it so fast that it has time to do other tasks between other tasks. But nowdays most PC's have atleast 2 cores. So this is no longer a fact.

The games are exactly the same as xbox 360 games, just with slower internet, the occasional poorly implimented sixaxis addition, less people using headsets online (which is extremely frustrating on nazi zombies), oh and double the price because it has some blu ray player that doesnt actually make a difference.

Not wasted on my end. I enjoy playing split screen with my friends. And I like the exclusives PS3 offers. I agree that PS3's online sucks monkey balls but I don't need it in first place. Since I only play PS3 when I eather have a new game for it or if I on some reason can't play online with PC.
I cant say i care much for splitscreen though, but if you only really play when you have friends round, its alright i suppose, although the only good ps3 exclusive i can think of for having friends round is messing about on little big planet. (correct me if im wrong)
PS4? They won't be making that in quite some time. Sony had said that they will want to keep the PS3 out as their main console, for up to 6-10 Years. I highly doubt it will go on for 10 years, but don't expect the PS4, or any sequel to the PS3 to come out earlier than 5-6 years.

Well, of course they can say that their products are good, but they don't have to LIE about it, and say that the PS3 is some sort of a "supercomputer" or some nonsense. Remember the PS2 hype? How it was going to take over your home appliances and all that junk? Yeah, Sony marketing is just all hype.

IT'S THE REASON WHY I MADE THE COMMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE... Look, Sony is a major, major corporation that always lie and overhype their products. Sony has always been about just brand image and overpricing their products. And I hate Sony because most of their stuff I bought broke down frequently.
Ok, it's not like I'm gonna stop buying Sony products, because I'm probably thinking of buying a PS3 and a PSP 2 or something like that. But still, their marketing scheme is ridiculous.

PS3 is not overpriced at all considering how expensive it was to develope it. It is not a shitty console. It doesn't break or overheat even in sauna, (it has been tested) it is cheapest and best Blu-Ray player in the market.
Why I replied to you in beginning was because I though that comment was about this video since we are currently typing on this videos comments. So when you said that they lied I though you meant what they said about Cell.

The games are exactly the same as xbox 360 games, just with slower internet, the occasional poorly implimented sixaxis addition, less people using headsets online (which is extremely frustrating on nazi zombies), oh and double the price because it has some blu ray player that doesnt actually make a difference.
So... you want to pay another couple hundred quid just for minutely better graphics? Well if ur completely minted then be my guest, but otherwise its a complete and utter waste of money

Not wasted on my end. I enjoy playing split screen with my friends. And I like the exclusives PS3 offers. I agree that PS3's online sucks monkey balls but I don't need it in first place. Since I only play PS3 when I eather have a new game for it or if I on some reason can't play online with PC.

I cant say i care much for splitscreen though, but if you only really play when you have friends round, its alright i suppose, although the only good ps3 exclusive i can think of for having friends round is messing about on little big planet. (correct me if im wrong)

PS4? They won't be making that in quite some time. Sony had said that they will want to keep the PS3 out as their main console, for up to 6-10 Years. I highly doubt it will go on for 10 years, but don't expect the PS4, or any sequel to the PS3 to come out earlier than 5-6 years.

all consoles take a little of everything otherwise there would be no compatition but they didn't copy the xbox 360 the PS3 is built on technology thats used in the xbox 360, just slightly modifyed only with there online gaming service they did copy well apparenlty so i heard but yeah friendly stuff it shall be =)

i hate fanboy stuff. it's so gay, mgs and halo, ps3 and 360, megadeth and metallica. i have the 360 but i don't say it's the best on the market. it has better gameplay mostly compared to ps3 except for killzone 2 which is ace, better online stuff, but the ps3 has the actual internet so you can lie on your bed while surfing or whatever and it has blu-ray. but personally i prefer the 360. call me a fanboy all you fucking want but i'm gonna be getting a ps3 anyway so there's no point.

this is why i prefer the xbox 360 over the ps3. there are a lot of games that feature on both consoles but the 360 exclusives are better. though not always graphically, but the gameplay itself is usually better and people can say six-axis to me all day but the fact remains that you hardly use six-axis. i konw. my mate has the ps3 and his dad does and they've told me that. i just want a ps3 because of mgs and killzone mainly and motorstorm which is mad.

dude i was saying good stuff about both consoles and you say i'm biased. do you know what bias means? and better gameplay means the 360s games are generally more fun, have better stories, well thought out control functions, but then again the ps3's games work around better graphics, vivid colour, and a more rounded realism. i like good graphics and all but a game to me is a form of escapism and you can't escape from the real world in a game that feels too real.

I love these companies like sony they are turely thick lol. Heres a fact for anyone out there. A CPU is nothing more than a over active calculator which simply adds, mulitplies and subtracts numbers to create applications. And in real life, if the PS3 was installed into a Robot and was faced with a door it would have fatal errors and not move what so ever. The human brain is far more complex and smater than Cell rubbish. Human eye see's infinited colours in our sight frequency.
