Let's review what this song seems to be about.

Philly is awesome. Bacon steaks are awesome. Fairmount park is awesome, boyz 2 men are awesome, Sasha the crackhead hooker is awesome, Mannequin was filmed somewhere other than woolworths, but saying it was is awesome, basically a bunch of stuff about philly.

My verdict? Awesome.

Yeah, Mannequin was actually filmed at Wanamaker's flagship store in Philadelphia, and in a Boscov's dpt. store in the former Camp Hill Shopping Mall (now Camp Hill Shopping Center) near Harrisburg, PA.

A question for the band or whomever, how can this leading social force - Ween, politicize a part of their content.

Obviously, Philly is anything but free for Blacks and Latinos, back to the Rizzo days.

Can Ween maintain a pure poetry, non-genre creative pulse and still promote a political response to the growing process.

I discovered Ween when ''Chocolate and Cheese'' went out in 1994 and bought all of their albums since then. As of today, if I were to write down a list of my favorite albums of all time, ''C&C'' would be on it.

I keep a copy of this album at home, one in

my car and one at the office. When I'm not sure what to listen to, I put it on and it works every time. Ween definitely rules!
