Philly is awesome. Bacon steaks are awesome. Fairmount park is awesome, boyz 2 men are awesome, Sasha the crackhead hooker is awesome, Mannequin was filmed somewhere other than woolworths, but saying it was is awesome, basically a bunch of stuff about philly.
Yeah, Mannequin was actually filmed at Wanamaker's flagship store in Philadelphia, and in a Boscov's dpt. store in the former Camp Hill Shopping Mall (now Camp Hill Shopping Center) near Harrisburg, PA.
I sound smart, but I'm actually just repeating shit I overheard. Derp.
finally a video that makes sense. I get so tired of seeing these stupid videos that just have the band standing there or sitting in a room singing their song. you gotta leave it to WEEN to come up with some interesting sounds and a video. thumbs way up!

Too bad. These two goofballs are still all about the spliffage. A couple of 40 yr old stoners who somehow made a career out of a joke band they formed in junior high.
these guys are still my favorite band from the 90s that are still together today. ray of awesomeness in a sea of generic crud. phish primus, ween need to go on a country tour to bring back real music, where the artist makes his/her own shit. doesn't buy it
dude, they do and have always done what they find fun, funny and amusing to them and there fans, you are not a weener or a follower of boognish if you see this man.
as for me...i found ween when i was like 13 or 14. i was tripping one night with my friends listening to the Pure Guava album...freaked me out honestly...but yea..after that i remember the music i heard and i was like""that sounded pretty good"" now i listen to em all the time.....
I was 15 and I'd just heard the Pure Guava album and it's fucking timeless, just like all of Ween's songs. Thank goodness for Ween. I know it, you know it, Henry Rollins knows it...my g/f doesn't know it but that's ok.
Ween are unquestionably a great band. They've written so many awesome songs: Mutilated Lips, Freedom of 76, The Argus, Woman and Man... the list goes on and anybody who says they 'suck' are only showing their own ignorance.
alright anyone who doesnt like ween you should have no reason to live. these guys are gods, and they go beyond any genre you classify them as. for all those haters, you can fuck off because this is true talent right here and you could learn a thing or two.
What do you listen to? The shit that plays on the local hip-hop station, or worse... the shit radio tries to pass off as "alternative" music, avenged sevenfold??? (they trigger my gag reflex)
You're 16... (now, I am only a couple years older), so I gotta break your heart, The "music" of "our" generation sucks!
Go find some original music! Gene and Dean Ween are poets, and you really need to aquire a since of taste for their style. Why are you watching?
You gotta remember this video was made in the 90's. Comedy videos were all the rage. Ween F**KING ROCK!!!! your just a nasty little waste of space. you brother should have wiped you up after he sperted you out. PEACE in 2008
I discovered Ween when ''Chocolate and Cheese'' went out in 1994 and bought all of their albums since then. As of today, if I were to write down a list of my favorite albums of all time, ''C&C'' would be on it.
I keep a copy of this album at home, one in
my car and one at the office. When I'm not sure what to listen to, I put it on and it works every time. Ween definitely rules!
I bought this album on CD the day it was released 1994. I had previously worn my Pure Guava tape out to the point where i bought my CD copy which i still have as well. Chocolate and Cheese is also dedicated to John Candy.
I remember when I first saw this video in sept of 97 on M2 (before they started showing crappy Mtv reruns) and ran to Sam Goody that afternoon and bought the album. Made sure Chocolate and Cheese was in my CD wallet during my cross country move 10 years later. THANK YOU WEEN!

Love the band and the song.
A question for the band or whomever, how can this leading social force - Ween, politicize a part of their content.
Obviously, Philly is anything but free for Blacks and Latinos, back to the Rizzo days.
Can Ween maintain a pure poetry, non-genre creative pulse and still promote a political response to the growing process.
I believe Ween should be a political force in this American desert.
Thanks
