Your mention of the Apostles Creed being used by both Catholic and Protestant churches is inaccurate. Not ALL protestant churches recite this as a matter of doctrine, which proves James' point. More, its historical origins are vague. And it has been changed over time. So using the Creed to prove a point seems to be agreeing with the Baha'is.

Each religions are not the same, but they are one in essence. Each Prophet or Messenger of God brought something new that people needed at that time they appeared. Some people are afflicted with sex, money, power, jealousy, envy, pornography. Human beings are not perfect and we must work to overcome our bad characteristics. It is a characteristic that distinguishes an individual or that particular person. These are all test and we should overcome them not give in to them. They are very difficult to overcome.

People in the Baha'i faith are very nice and genuine but the religion itself is full of self contradictions and is very irrational. Perhaps Jesus was simply an idea that the disciples had? Perhaps Jesus' divinity was only symbolic as was his death. In islam God cannot have a son, in Christianity the Son is consubstantial with the father. In Zoroastrianism, there are two all powerful good and gods. Christianity, Islam, judaism reject this saying there is One good God and no others.
"Let the dead bury the dead" Is this literal?? "Ye must be born again." Literal?? Think about it... "Feed my sheep" Baaaaaa The Holy Spirit exists without a physical body. So to the true reality of the Christ Spirit is a phenomena which transcends earthly limitations.
Stop the arguments about each others faith! Sure they may be interesting to a certain extent, but do you realize what the hell you're doing? The Buddhist faith believes in no God, where as the Muslim faith believes in many Gods.. the Christian faith believes in Jesus Christ only & that he is the son of God and the Baha'i faith believes that all the messengers come from the same God. Which ones right? It doesn't matter. Let people believe in what they want to believe in unless they're asked.

My ex is Bahai and I am Christian.. I used to get into great conversations with her and her family. If you don't know Scripture they can be convincing because they bring up very good arguments that most Christians don't have the answers to. But anyone that knows the Word (The Bible) can call them out on their misinterpretations. Christ is the Word of God made flesh and He speaks as the Voice of Jehovah, so the statement "Before Abraham was, I am," makes perfect sense as a spiritual reality. As a material reality it contradicts His other statements,

It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam became a living being. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit."
I Christianity is based around Jesus being UNIQUE in rising from the dead through a physical resurrection, then the Bahai speaker has a point.. Mathew ch.27 verse 52-53: "And the graves were opened and many bodies of the saints arose. And came out of the graves after his resurrection." So its not only Christ who has this power - if you interpret the Bible literally!
If the greatness of Christ is based on the fact he not only rose from the dead but proved it by appearing to people physically, then the saints who rose from the dead are great because they resurrected and proved it by appearing to many: Mathew ch.27 verse 53 states that the many saints who arose from their graves "appeared unto many." So obviously there is a spiritual meaning and not literal.
A good point. Is not the greatness of Christ in His life and teachings - His Word? For it is by His Word He says we are cleansed and judged. This beautiful, pure Mirror of Divine reality lived to teach people He knew were going to scorn Him and ultimately seek HIs death. And last of all he was seen of me also...." Christ's appearance to the disciples took place long before Paul's experience on the road to Damascus. This raises important questions.
The question raised by Christ's resurrection in a spiritual body (becoming a life giving spirit) is how were there wounds in this spiritual body for Thomas to see and touch? Jesus of course, uses Thomas's skepticism to make a point about the faith of those of us who believed without seeing Him.
Clearly from all of these accounts, the semblance in which Christ visited His disciples and Paul, was not a gross physical body.

Good questions. My question has always been "why do we assume just because Christ was seen and heard after His resurrection the body must be a physical human body?" Hasn't Christ the power to manifest Himself as He chooses? A pastor I had gave a sermon around the fact that when Jesus walks with His disciples after the resurrection, they don't recognize Him until He speaks to them. He suggested that perhaps the Lord appeared in a glorified body. Which leads to another question...
Your Pastor raised an extremely important point. Wouldn't we recognize someone we had spent three years with immediately? John 20:14-14 Less than three days since Christ's crucifixion yet Mary Magdalene does not know Christ when he appears to her in his 'physical' body. How could this be possible? I don't like how this show portrays Baptist theology as Orthodox Christianity but it's decent watching to pick up a little information here and there. It can be frustrating though because often Walter Martin and John Ankerberg will continually badger guests on the same issues.They should just lose a little bit of the rigidity for the sake of the conversation even if they still believe every bit of it. If you would tear your eyes away from your Bible for awhile you might see the contradictions and misinterpretations of the Bible that are rampant among Christianity. I've commented on the previous videos in this series as I watched. As you know, accuracy is akin to truth. Your mention of the Apostles Creed being used by both Catholic and Protestant churches is inaccurate. Not ALL protestant churches recite this as a matter of doctrine, which proves James' point. More, its historical origins are vague. And it has been changed over time. So using the Creed to prove a point seems to be agreeing with the Baha'is.

Each religions are not the same, but they are one in essence. Each Prophet or Messenger of God brought something new that people needed at that time they appeared. Jesus when he appeared was the only way so was Moses the only way at the time he came and so was Muhammad at the time he came.Every time a prophet appears they are the only way and each one brings about something new depending on the capacity of its people. Each prophets when they appear are the same spirit, therefore they are one.

It is not the religions that are in disagreement, but it is the priest, the Imams, rabies they make up new denomination that are corrupting the word of God. The bible tells us not to interpret on our own. Only the Prophets chosen by God can interpret the meaning of the Holy Books. By interpreting the meanings individuals corrupt the holy books and make divisions! They are more then 3,500 or so denominations of Christianity. Which one is the correct one? By the way Baha'is do not debate about religion. Religion is progressive and therefore all the Main religion of the world are in essence one and from the same God. The difference is in the capacity of the people at that particular time that the message was given. If I recall Jesus said: Ye cannot bear it now .... Another 2 year old boy is very mean and hurts the other kids. Another little girl is perfect and wants to please you, but if I do not look she is being mean to others. These traits are not negative or positive traits, but if not directed properly they can be negative.

I work with kids and each child has a certain characteristics from infancy. Example: one little baby cries very loudly and is persistent in getting what he wants. People in the Baha'i faith are very nice and genuine but the religion itself is full of self contradictions and is very irrational. Perhaps Jesus was simply an idea that the disciples had? Perhaps Jesus' divinity was only symbolic as was his death. In islam God cannot have a son, in Christianity the Son is consubstantial with the father. In Zoroastrianism, there are two all powerful good and gods. Christianity, Islam, judaism reject this saying there is One good God and no others.

Stop the arguments about each others faith! Sure they may be interesting to a certain extent, but do you realize what the hell you're doing? The Buddhist faith believes in no God, where as the Muslim faith believes in many Gods.. the Christian faith believes in Jesus Christ only & that he is the son of God and the Baha'i faith believes that all the messengers come from the same God. Its biggest inconsistency is its pluralism. World religions are too diverse and fundamentally different to be reconciled. Bahai faith was born out of the Shia cult, which was made up by the Safavid dynasty. Bahai teachings contradict those of the other religions. Those other religions also clearly teach and practice contrary things. Bahai message might have appealed to laymen living in the eighteenth-century, but today no honest and informed person can take it seriously.

My ex is Bahai and I am Christian.. I used to get into great conversations with her and her family. If you don't know Scripture they can be convincing because they bring up very good arguments that most Christians don't have the answers to. But anyone that knows the Word (The Bible) can call them out on their misinterpretations. There's so much in the Bible that proves Baha'u'llah isn't the return of Christ (spiritually nor physically); and even more in their own writings.

However bahais say that it's a spiritual thing.. well how can you say that when he said I will return in my flesh and bone, seriously, you can't just choose what points are literal and symbolic, that's jst playing with the system, therefore, the bahai faith, doesn't actually believe in christianity at all.

I Christianity is based around Jesus being UNIQUE in rising from the dead through a physical resurrection, then the Bahai speaker has a point.. Mathew ch.27 verse 52-53: "And the graves were opened and many bodies of the saints arose. And came out of the graves after his resurrection." So its not only Christ who has this power - if you interpret the Bible literally!

If the greatness of Christ is based on the fact he not only rose from the dead but proved it by appearing to people physically, then the saints who rose from the dead are great because they resurrected and proved it by appearing to many: Mathew ch.27 verse 53 states that the many saints who arose from their graves "appeared unto many." So obviously there is a spiritual meaning and not literal.

1Corinthians, 15:7-8 In the same chapter 15 where Paul speaks of a spiritual body he states of Jesus that "...he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also...." Christ's appearance to the disciples took place long before Paul's experience on the road to Damascus. This raises important questions.

The question raised by Christ's resurrection in a spiritual body (becoming a life giving spirit) is how were there wounds in this spiritual body for Thomas to see and touch? Jesus of course, uses Thomas's skepticism to make a point about the faith of those of us who believed without seeing Him.
Clearly from all of these accounts, the semblance in which Christ visited His disciples and Paul, was not a gross physical body.
When Samuel appeared to Saul, was that a physical resurrection?

Good questions. My question has always been "why do we assume just because Christ was seen and heard after His resurrection the body must be a physical human body?" Hasn't Christ the power to manifest Himself as He chooses? A pastor I had gave a sermon around the fact that when Jesus walks with His disciples after the resurrection, they don't recognize Him until He speaks to them. He suggested that perhaps the Lord appeared in a glorified body. Which leads to another question...

Your Pastor raised an extremely important point. Wouldn't we recognize someone we had spent three years with immediately? John 20:14-14 Less than three days since Christ's crucifixion yet Mary Magdalene does not know Christ when he appears to her in his 'physical' body. How could this be possible? Doesn't it suggest a spiritual reality?

Islam was "made" in the year 622. In 666 a Muslim leader named Mahaviyyih tried to take the authority for the faith upon himself and change the point of adoration (where the Muslims faced when they prayed) from Mecca, where Muhammad had set it, to Damascus. He fit the prophecy in other ways as well.

This is the problem I see with the Bahai faith: The Bahai faith teaches that Zoraster, Krishna, Buddha, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (along with others) were sent by the same god. I challenge all the Bahai's to prove me how this can be: Jesus claimed the divine name of Jehovah for Himself. Muhammad denied that Jesus is God. Judaism teaches one God, Hindus believe in many, while buddhists believe in no god. How can all be true? The same god has memory problems or does he change?

Where does Jesus claim the name of Jehovah for Himself? He says, "I have manifested YOUR NAME to those men you have given me out of the world. They were yours and you gave them to Me,.."
Jesus denies that He is God. He claims to be the Son of God, and says to the Jews that they may also be sons and daughters of God. The churches can't agree on whether Jesus is God. KRishna also teaches that there is one God, as does Buddha. Your info is second-hand. Read the scriptures for yourself.

IICor. 4:3-6 crushes the idea that Bahais could ever interpret scripture using their comic book. They belittle our Lord who bought with price and paid the ransom for all those who anide in His words. Count them accursed. We as christians have renounced (2 cor. 4:2 is a pre condition to what is coming up next which is verses 3-6(7-9 is exemplary)

The bible also says that Jesus is "God in flesh", also known as "God with us". And how do you explain the virgin having a baby with no man to create it with. If God had to steal a body instead of create it, than he would not and could not be my God. The God of Abraham, my God, is a creator, thee creator, so there would be no need for him to steal, when he has the ability to create.

If he did not have flesh and bones then explain his explination to the apostle when he said put you hand in my side. That alone was proof enough for the apostle to say," my Lord, my God. He confessed right on the spot that Jesus was Lord, and God. At that point he had confirmed that he was not just spirit but also flesh ressurected.

There is a difference between knowing something is made of Gold and being able to recognize Gold based on its qualities. Most people today, know Christ is Christ but this does not mean, they have the power to recognize him. The knowledge of Christ is given by birth, but the power of recognition is NOT. It is given by he Grace of God. So most of the people today, will also reject Baha'u'llah as they rejected Christ before him. Ironically, this rejection is yet another proof of the authenticity!

In the past the Bible was used to try to justify owning slaves. Proof the Bible can be twisted by suite someone's circumstance. Two thousand years ago if the clergy told me not to bother investigating Jesus of Nazareth, I hope I would have used independent investigation of the truth. There are many affliction in the world. Homosexual. is not the only affliction. We must strive to overcome our test in this life. We all have them. Other afflictions can be: sex, child pornography, drugs, gambling. We all of them and we must not give in to them but we must strive to overcome them.

I also realized that the Baha'i faith is actually illegal to be practiced in Persia/Iran where the religion was actually founded. Seriously that is just unfair.
